What's great about it: Everything
What's not so great: Nothing
These were on sale for $100 when I ordered them. The sound is flawless, high volume with no static, and clear as can be with super easy installation. Frankly, we didn't expect much for the money and I've never been more proud to be wrong! It's the best $100 dollars we've ever spent;!

I have had a lot of surround sound systems and this one gives you the most bang for your buck. The sound quality is great dependability Great Looks are a little boxy but for how long i have had them and my kids cranking up the volume with their rap and hard rock?? PFFFTTT i will take boxy any day. Good luck and enjoy. I know I do Oh and the 3 wire hook up is super because it is all color co-ordinated

Just got these speakers today with B-Day money and let me say the speakers are the best running throw rocketfish 5.1 channel PCI card and they are better then my dads 300$ system by far if your looking for a good speaker system dont even hesitate to get something else even for the price these speakers are just plan awesome

The speakers themselves are flawless. The cables could be longer. If you plan on mounting these speakers on the wall you will need RCA audio extensions. (Unless your room is the size of a closet).

Sub-
The down firing sub is good, but the speaker does not have a grill on it. That means something could puncture the speaker and effectively ruin the sub, Just be careful when unpacking it.

Cable Management-
These speakers have 1 wire that attaches to them. When you decide to mount them to a wall. (I don't know who wouldn't) You will need RCA extensions. I bought some cable holders at another store and nailed the cables at the corners of the room and routed them down to the baseboard. The cables are completely invisible.
Overall-
When the lady at checkout asked if I wanted a warranty from best buy I told her no because I've never had a problem with a logitech product. This system is versatile. I have it set up to my computer, and can switch it to my TV to my Xbox 360 by just switching a single cable.

impressive. The last of 2 sets of $400.00 speakers died, so price is no guarantee of longevity. I like the sound, they look good and the sub produces adequate bass for its size. I would think they would not stand up to loud gaming, but for music at a medium volume they are near as good as expensive ones.
The speaker in the sub enclosure is not protected by a grill and it would be very easy to put a finger through it while removal from the box or during the setup. Don't forget to remove the plastic seal over the port!

I bought these on sale for 79.99, Hooked them up and wow, But I did notice that the rear speakers wasn't that load, So I then went and got the Creative Labs Sound Blasted X-Fi Titanium for 79.99 on sale and what a difference it made to the system

What's great about it: Clear and not "tiny" sounding.
What's not so great: The subwoofer could be a little stronger
Over the years, I have always looked for two brands of speaker. In the beginning, when I could find them, I used the Creative speakers. But for years now, I've been using Logitech. The sound on these speakers is nice and crisp and clear. The highs are bright and it doesn't get the "digital" sound. The base is very good. If I had one minor down side, it would be the subwoofer isn't as strong as it could be. But honestly it's pretty minor and it does still very good rumble. Overall though, I've more than satisfied.

What's great about it: cheap, easy setup, great sound
What's not so great: bass speaker crackles and pops when heavy bass is played
If you're looking for a set of speakers for a PC, this product is perfect. It's easy to setup and the cords are a decent length for use in an office. It could be used for a HTPC setup, but in larger rooms it will need extensions for some of the satellite speakers.
The only con I could find was that the bass speaker can have some corruption when the volume is set to loud and the audio has heavy bass, but it's not really noticeable when playing games.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I have had mine for a year and my son heard it so i had to buy him one the whole package is a great value. Installation is a no-brainer.sound is really great

What's great about it: easy to mount,set up in about 4 minutes, decent subwoofer, durable
What's not so great: needs longer cords, sound can be a little scratchy with high volume,
For the price of the speakers id say they are great for only 25w of subwoofer power its loud. the cords needed to be longer but i just bought 20ft extenders which are about five bucks each. though if you want good speakers i would recomend getting a 1000w home theater system with a HMDI.

Logitech should have put more watts into that sub. Speakers sound pretty good. A little overpriced

Great buy for the price, not going to blow you away with sound but does a great job for my small room. Center speaker attached nicely to the monitor so no duct tape was required, nice!

What's not so great: The Front Left and Right Speaker connection wires are too short!
There's not really much to write about this particular product since everything about its pros and cons have been listed above. I must say though I was really impressed with the sound quality of the entire system. In addition, I also purchased it at $94.49 (sale) instead of the regular price at $104.99. Other than my gripe with the Front Left and Right Speaker wires being too short, this complete system is highly recommended!

Well for the price you can't beat this system. 5.1 sound nice subwoofer all around great product. The sound quality far exceeded my expectations. Now you cant expect this system to fill a giant room but for an average size room its great. Bass really rumbles highs are clear and crisp. Only thing that was a little bit of an inconvenience was the speaker wires for the back speakers were not long enough had to go to Radio Shack to buy extensions for them but that only cost $12 to extend them both another 10 feet so no big deal. Would definitely recommend this system for anyone looking for great little surround sound package with BIG sound and a little budget. Now I read people said that the sound quality was bad and had distortion at higher volumes and the reason for that most likely was there sound card tested this with onboard sound, Sound Blaster x-fi and a cheapo no name sound card and both onboard and the x-fi sounded great the cheap sound card gave a great deal of distortion and horrible sound quality.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I like the way the speakers system is able to hang and/or twist to put where the angle for sound deflection is needed. The rich bass added with the clear digital sound makes it a really nice addition to my system.

I've actually had this speaker system for three years now (or maybe an earlier version of this system) and thought I'd add my review just to let you know that it is still working great after three years of constant, intense use!
When set right, the audio experience of this speaker system challenges my home-theater! I like how I can adjust the bass on-the-fly and not have to get into my speaker settings on the computer to do so. Also, having a headphone jack away from the tower is a plus to avoid wire-tangling issues and accidental jerks-and-yanks that can damage soundcard jacks. Having the power and volume controls handy at your side is a plus too.
Now, the only issue I have is when I play dvd's with 5.1 surround encoding on them and want to listen with my headphones. Usually, I just get the two back channels (no dialogue track) when I try that. I have to either set the sound channels to simple stereo in the computer's settings or use the computer's on-board headphone jack (works fine, but not as convenient). This could just be an issue with the player software, but that's the only glitch I've had. In most other cases the sound through the headphones is true.
The wires for the front speakers are oddly short, not allowing me to spread them out for a broader soundscape. Extension cords may help, but I can do without the line-loss of multiple connections. The center speaker is a bit too bulky to hang off my monitor and overpowers the other speakers in that position unless the sound to it is nearly turned off. It's better just sitting behind the monitor firing up at an angle.
Otherwise this is a great long-term investment for someone's computer sound system!
Beware cheaper multi-speaker systems that only have a single jack! They are only two channels spread over five speakers and a subwoofer, NOT true surround like this one is (with three jacks for front r/l, rear r/l, and center/subwoofer). I got burned buying one of those "5.1 compatible" speaker systems. Go for the Logitech and make it real!

This set of speakers produce an excellent sound with no distortion. I had them connected to a 2.1 sound card and they blew me away. I had to get a 5.1 sound card to really get the full effect. I was totally amazed. These speakers rock.

Just bought these speakers yesterday and like everyone else has said very easy to set up. The matrix button makes these speakers great for any job, whether it be music, movies, or games. They're very powerful so they should fill up most rooms and I just have to mention how nifty the control pad is. Small, extremely easy to use, and feels great to use.
Overall these are great speakers especially for the price. If you're looking to not spend TOO much and still get quality these are the way to go.
