What's great about it: very easy to learn how to play, fun.
What's not so great: the multiplayer is laggy, a little repetetive.

"First of, this game is definetaly worth buying. The campaign is always fun to beat just as the others in the series. GTA IV now offers multiplayer though. It is very fun to play with friends while roaming liberty city, but when you get online its a different story. If your in any match with more than 7 people (which always will be) you are bound to have lag. But do not let this turn you down, you can spend hours playing with friends in free mode. Overall the muliplayer was a risk RockStar took. Anyone who as any of the other games in this series should have this game, even if you dont have the other games in the series, this is definetaly worth buying."

"Man this game is fun and worth $59. I beat this game and its was easy for me but the fun is that theres new clean cars and motorcycles also guns and a really big city just like NY great radio stations also you can use the computers."

What's great about it: The real world likeness
What's not so great: Nothing

"This game should be the game of the year. So far. There are a few other games that are coming out that might just be the runner up. This game is not intended for kids. Very real and graphic. Just like all the other ones. I almost wanted to play through the story line again just because it was so fun. Definitely not the typical GTA where all you do is blow stuff up. Although you can just play through it like that if you want. One of the best games I have ever played!!"

"This version of GTA forgets that it's a video game and tries to make it too realistic. The game just doesnt have the same pace and excitement as the previous versions. It is still a great game and worth playing but I don't think it's a big improvement from the previous version."

What's great about it: Weapons, Inteligent Artificial, Explosions, Cars, Music, all in this game!
What's not so great: Repetitive missions, only this.

"One of the best games with I have. The story have someone missions repetitives, but is fantastic. And you finish the story, have the online mode, with various modes. Race, Deathmatch, and much more. The best game of the all Grand Theft Auto. The bests website games believe this is the best game of this year, and I believe too. This game guarantee very hours of fun. You need this in your collection, is obligation!"

What's great about it: Excitement, Challenge, Graphics, Length, Multiplayer, Story Mode, Gameplay, Weapons, Cover and Target Systems
What's not so great: Loading Pages Takes a Long Time

"In my opinion, Grand Theft Auto 4 for the Xbox 360 is the best video game to be released for any console in 2008. The graphics are extremely realistic, the cover and targeting systems are very helpful, the multiplayer gameplay on Xbox Live is lots of fun, and in general, the whole game is great - except for one thing: it takes a long time for different things to load. For example, when you first turn on your console, you have to watch a 1-2 minute video of different drawings of characters in the game, and then you have to wait another 1-2 minutes for the actual game to load! This gets very annoying after a while. But, everything else makes us for this, and that's why GTA 4 is the best video game for any console to be released in 2008."

What's great about it: Great story-mode, great multiplayer, easy-to-learn, length of the story is just right, fun and thrilling gameplay.
What's not so great: Still can't go into every single building...!

"I purchased this game a couple of months ago, played through it twice, and have only good things to say about it!

The storyline is unlike any other storyline that I've seen in a game before. It's original, fun, and there are even some twists and turns that you'll come across throughout the game. There are MANY different characters that you'll meet throughout the story, and you'll even have a chance to kill some of them. Hehe.

The gameplay is fantastic. The driving is realistic, though this can prove to be a pain in the rear sometimes. The voice acting is astounding; you'll find yourself so immersed in the game, that you'll start thinking that you're IN Liberty City, which also looks extroadinary. There are tons of mini-games, such as going bowling and playing darts. (Niko's also able to obtain girlfriends within the game; some of them have special perks which can benefit you as you play!)

The variety of weapons, guns and melee weapons, isn't as broad as the previous 'Grand Theft Auto' titles, but this only makes the game more realistic. Of course, you still have the trusty ol' RPG that you can take down choppers with!

Overall, I give this game a 5/5, not because I'm following a trend of 5/5's, but because the game DESERVES that rating. It was well worth the wait to purchase this game, and I must say, it was probably the best $60 I've ever spent.

Trust me when I say this: If you go out and buy this game today, you will NOT be dissapointed."

"I never played the others very thoroughly but this one is a knockout. I really enjoy the free play where you can do whatever and whenever. I know its the mafia, but all the language is very unnecessary(It makes it awkward to play around kids, parents etc)."

"Fun fun fun game period. The game is awesome one player game and it never gets borring. If u get sick of doing the missions just goof around thats the fun it in you can almost do anything in the game. You can just go find secret places and even take cars,motorcycles,bikes whatever you can drive and have fun all over the city. I would get this game cause you will never get borred you can always use your mind and come up with somthing fun to do. Go to your local Best Buy or order it online now!!!
