What's great about it: Excellent Print Quality for Reports and Photo's.
What's not so great: Could be easier to change Paper sizes
"Great Printer. Very Good Scanner. Works well on my home network.
This printer really impresses me. I've use other brands that were good, but the printing accuracy of the colors, the Scanning color accuracy, and the overall speed make this a great multi-function printer."

What's great about it: Easy to install and use, cost effective
What's not so great: small ink cartridges
"Purchased the unit for its multifuncation feature. We had been using a outside source to do faxing and copying, plus the unit handles any printing from the computer as needed. The ink cardridges are priced nicely even thou they are a little small."

"Easy to use out of box solution for printing and scanning needs. I need all in one printer/scanner to replace my existing ones, which were not working with my new computer. After doing some research online I decided that Brother-Network-Ready Multifunction Printer/ Copier/ Scanner/ Fax/ PhotoCapture Center-MFC-440CN was exactly what I was looking for.
It took about 10 -15 minutes to set it up. I already used it's printing, scanning and copying"

What's great about it: I was able to return it
What's not so great: Terible print quality
"I was pretty disappointed with my purchase. Not only is it pretty cheaply constructed, the print quality is terrible. The text quality is very unclear and has jagged edges. I would not recommend this product to anyone."

What's great about it: Great features. Price is attractive. If you need a fax and black/white printer then you may get your money worth.
What's not so great: Scanning from the computer was slight better than coping from the glass. Copys a little slow. Have not tried the photo f

"For under $100 this is a no-brainer. I set my wireless network up in less than an hour. The photo print quality is great - better than expected. You must be able to understand the print settings. This is a great bargain."

You Get More Than You Paid For

"I really don't know a whole lot about connecting printers and what's good and not good, but I had a basic idea of what I was looking for. I wanted to be able to print photos; fax, print, scan and copy with reasonable speed and be able to reduce and enlarge copies. Well, this very inexpensive machine provided everything I was looking for for a fraction of the cost. I still have some kinks I have to work out; like how to scan into my documents, but that has more to do with me and not the machine. I would highly recommend this printer to anyone especially those who are electronically challenged like myself. NOTE: I only decided on this printer because of similar reviews and I just had to record my sentiments before going to bed. Generally, I don't believe these comments, but because I was able to set this up alone and managed to print a photo, several copies from hard copies and online; I am just excited that this product has served me well. Yeah!!!!!!"

"This is a great all around multi function device. It has worked without trouble for almost a year now. I like the seperate color ink cartridges so you do not waste ink. It also has an easy interface which makes performing tasks easy. It also prints digital photos very well. Several people have said they cant tell the photos were made printed on this printer. The only compaint I have is the small document feeder...it is only 10 or 12 pages. Overall a great machine for a great price."

"This system is just great out of the box. The fact that no wires are needed in order to print (provided you have a wireless network) means that I could print from the kitchen when the printer's in another room. I was a bit cautious when I first saw the brand because I never used brother but instead epson, lexmark, hp and sadly to say those other brands can't really compete with this all in one. Just to sum it up, its fast, wireless, has a real fax, card readers and a screen, and is just the easiest all in one i'd recommend."

"Printer eay to use. Software installation easy; using XP. Using the USB port; not network at the moment.
All aspects great except the printer takes a few seconds before it responds to your task. Also, the printer must be turned on manually in order to print anything at all; last printer would come on automatically but it was not a all in one....
Quality great with software easy to use and user friendly as well.
Highly recommened .......9 1/2 stars out of 10 stars...."

"I bought this as a replacement for my printer that was damaged by lightning. I was a bit scared having to learn a whole new all in one, but this was very easy to learn and adapt to. It has some nicer features than what I had before and works wonderfully. It even networks easy! I have a new favorite brand of printer. I really like the screen, so I always know what part of the task I am on and can see my settings. Scanning is so easy!!"
