Amazing headphones!

What's great about it: very very comfortable,easy to use, great sound.
What's not so great: pricey
"These headphones are so comfortable! It almost feels like having cotton balls in your ears. The sound is the only sound that bose can give you. These are by far the best in ear headphonmes i have ever bought. And they havent broken the 4th day i owned them like my other headphones i have owned before these. These little beasts also come with a handy carrying case."

"I have tried quite a few headphones and earbuds, and got these as a gift. They have amazing sound quality and a lot of range of sound. The best advice I can give to people that think they don't sound amazing, let them burn in. Most sites have them needing 100 hours of play to actually get to where they should be for sound range. Though out of the box I thought they had much better sound than most I had tried for ear buds.
They are very comfortable and don't feel like you have them in if you make sure to use the right size for your ear. I had no issues getting them in and having them fit snuggly but loose enough to not be uncomfortable at all.
I would recommend these as a great option for sound quality and price point. Well worth the 90.00 they are right now, and even the 100.00. That isn't a lot of money if you listen to music a lot(I wear them while working and also on the bus and while walking)."

Amazing Confort and Audio Quality

"Before these headphones, I had the 7 dollar Panasonic headphones found at Wal Mart. I thought those were good quality, until i plugged these into my iPod. I got these as a Christmas gift, the first think I did was plug them into my iPod Touch and play some music. The sound quality is amazing. My Panasonics are sitting next to me, and I can tell you that they will not be used as much now. These Bose headphones are incredible in every way possible. You can't even tell that they're on. They're incredibly clear and comfortable. I highly recommend them to anyone who is serious about music."

Great quality, but a small convenience problems

What's great about it: excellent sound quality, very comfortable, long cord, stylish look
What's not so great: inconvenient ear buds, slightly inconvenient cord
"These headphones are of excellent quality; the best in-ear headphones on the market that I've found. Whether you're watching movies on a computer or listening to music on an iPod, all the level of the audio are perfectly balanced. This is especially noticeable when listening to music; all the instruments are easy to hear, from the bass guitar to the drums. But they don't overpower the main instrument ever, or the vocal track. They're brought to their perfect sound level.
Second, the ear buds look uncomfortable, but they are the exact opposite. They come in 3 sizes, so they'll work for anyone. They also have a very nice feeling to them, where you barely even notice them once they're in.
Third, the cord is the perfect length. Not a stretch to reach with, but not so long you have to roll it up.
Now the cons. The ear buds, while very comfortable, are easily detached. Since they are so easily interchangeable between sizes, the buds often come off. Sometimes just having them in my pocket makes the buds come off, and if I leave it on my bedside table they seem to disappear.
Also, while this may sound strange, the cord is almost sticky. Not really sticky, but it offers a lot of friction, which can make it an ordeal just to put and iPod in your pocket.
Overall, I would give these a 4.5, and recommend them to anyone who's looking for headphones. But if Bose comes out with a new model, these problems could be fixed, maybe by offering 3 different models with fixed buds, or by making the attachment of the buds a more firm process."

"I bought the Bose in-ear headphones and they definately aren't the best I have ever had. Yeah the sound is great, but only if you want to hold the earbuds up to your ear while listening. I can't run, barely walk, or do any kind of workout without these things falling out. The 1 out of 3 earbud pieces that fit me doesn't help at all and I've tried all 3. I've given these things a couple months and it just gets worse because overtime trying to run with these things the earbud pieces fell off and I lost some. So overall, these things got a great sound but only if you want to strap duck tape around your ears to keep them in."

"The in-ear headphones were a joy for the six months they worked. I enjoyed them immensely and thought they were worth the price. The sound quality was good enough that I overlooked the fact that not even the smallest buds fit my ears and fell out constantly while I was on the treadmill or did any type of cardio.
I'd recommend these for a light user and not a runner or hard-core cardio gym rat. If you're commuting or have bigger ears they may be worth the price for you. I think I'm going to go back to some plain on Ipod buds."

"These are by far the most comfortable in-ear headphones I have every bought. I had the Shure, but they bother my ears and I had trouble getting them to fit. These Bose do not go into your ear canal, they rest in your ear bowl. I wear them all day without any discomfort. I would highly recommend these in-ear headphones to anyone."

"I was surprised how these earphones turned my IPOD music fantastic. I felt bad I was going to return it though for the eartips weren't fitting my ears.. until the Large eartips finally fitted. I got my Ipod touch fitting its case too! You get your money's worth.

"When I first bought these I tried to get use to them. I felt like no matter what size I used they were always falling out. I lost one of the pieces cause when it came out of my ear, it fell on the sidewalk. I thought the base was good sound was alright. But I like loud music and the reason the quality is good is beacuse the volume stay low to keep from distorting. I went back to my ipod original head phones in less than a week and use these as backup only without the dumb rubber inserts"

"These are def. the best headphone i have ever had. The sound is truly amazing and the silicone ear buds makes it a great fit for anyones ears. You would never imagine that such good bass would come out of these little things. I use to use the headphone that came with the iphone but would kinda hurt after a while and I would have to take them out. With these I can leave them in for hours with no problems. A very good buy."

What's great about it: Comfortable, Compact, Carrying Case nice
What's not so great: Low volume levels, first pair broken out of box
"Overall this is a good product, as long as it's exactly what you're looking for. Questionable quality for Bose reputation, but has beautiful sound when compared to similar sized/brand products. I bought my first pair 3 weeks ago from Best Buy and they were broken out of the box. The right speaker did not function at all from the first moment I used them. I tried in my iPod and my stereo just to rule out a channel problem on my end. So I exchanged them 2 days later for a new pair. The sound is great for phones of this size, the ear pieces fit nicely but block little to no outside sound (at all). My problem with these headphones is actually more my fault. I was trying to find a nice pair of "all around" headphones. Phones I could use for my iPod, PSP and plug into my receiver when using my XBOX 360 at night. These are GREAT for portable devices, but when hooked to my receiver, not so much. The only real problem I had is I had to turn the volume up to 90% to hear a decent level. With that being said, if you are looking for a pair for portable use alone, these will be a nice choice. I returned these today and bought a pair of Bose On Ear headphones and I am much happier (for what I need them for) with this purchase."

What's not so great: a bit of a muffled sound if the treble isnt adjusted, feels funny at first
"These headphones are absolutely incredble. The bass performance is astounding and you can hear everything crystal clear. However, on ipods, it sounds a little muffled if you dont put treble booster. Also, if they would have had some sort of sound isolation, i would have given it 5 stars."

What's great about it: Comfortable, Cosmetically Looks Good, Case and extra eartips.
What's not so great: No complaints.
"Wow. Just wow. These headphones are absolutely amazing. I cannot stop talking about them. The look of the headphones with the black and white contrast on the cord, is hot. The leather case is nice to put away the extra eartips and lanyard if you don't want to use it. If you are a bass lover, these are must. Don't underestimate these headphones. They may look like they cannot pound out the bass, but they sure make songs a LOT better. Particularly hip-hop songs sound the best with these, considering most have a lot of bass. Rock, Acoustic, and other genres also sound amazing. My family owns a small stereo system from Bose, the one you always see advertised on TV. That is probably the only product that actually does what it says it does. Sounds like a Home Theatre system. That is what prompted me to buy these. I am sold to Bose for life."

What's not so great: Silicone earpieces come off too easily
"The price tag makes these headphones very intimidating, but look at it as an investment. I have never had headphones (over-the-ear included) that have had a richer output or more comfortable feeling. The silicone earpieces feel a little bit strange the first time you try them (it goes a little bit into the ear canal),but they make the earbuds incredibly comfortable- you don't get that fatigue in your ears from rigid plastic earbuds. The package comes with 3 sizes of earpieces, so you'll get the right fit.
The only problem I have is that the earpieces slip off the earbud a bit easier than I'd like, especially when I take my motorcycle helmet off... but that won't be an issue for the average user."

"When you first look at these you will probably think what most people think. And that is that these are way too much money. But if you are someone who listens to music a lot, you will love these. If you want headphones that are worth every penny and will last you, buy these.
I have owned many pairs of headphones before finally buying these. These are the the ONLY In-Ear headphones that actually fit well in your ears. That is because they are meant to sit in your ear canal and not meant to be jammed all the way in your ear.
The sound from these is absolutely amazing. There is very deep bass and the music is very crisp. These by-far have the best sound of any headphones I have owned.
If you are someone who listens music and appreciates great sound, buy these headphones, you will not be disappointed."

"recently purchased ear budsbased on reputation of company. have bose system at home, sound is awesome. thought these would be in same category with sound. i was proven wrong. had owned sony earbuds with same sound quality at more than half the price. bose buds do not stay in ears. tried all different size adapters, and buds still fell out. i use my mp3 player extensively when working outside doing yard work and such; even walking has been difficult to keep in place. i would recommend trying earbuds out against your current pair at a bose outlet store before purchasing. bestbuy has best price thus far."
