really good head phones, super compact, fold em up, put them in the case and go. theses headphones have really good bass clear highs and a good price. better the the solo beats by far.

Bose; known for quality sound and great products. That is what you get when you buy and listen to there products. The Bose Mobile On-Ear Headset continues that trend with great sound quality, great design and comfort on your head. Listening to music or watching a movie on your computer these are perfect headphones to do that and much more. With perfect sound, I would recommend these to anyone that needs headphones.
Sound Quality: Bose always has great sound quality, and these headphones continue that trend. One negative is that when you’re around the person who is using the headphones, they have it turned up above halfway you may be able to hear it around you. Overall these headphones sound is above great compared to its competitors in the $199.95 range. These are the best headphones in their price range.
Comfort and Style: When you first look at these headphones you think of comfort based on what you see. I will say these are not the most comfortable headphones out there, but still feel good on your ears and head. The band that goes across your head is very adjustable, and comfortable on top of your head. On the other hand the headphones cushions that go on the ears, are very tight fitting. This is both a good thing and a bad thing, with the tight fit it keeps sound out so you’re getting some noise cancelling in these headphones. The other thing is that sometimes after listening to music or movies for more than an hour, you feel a little pressure on your ears compared to its competitors. Style is one thing sometimes Bose lacks in their products, but these have great style.
Bose Mobile On-Ear vs. Beats Solo: It’s hard to compare these to headphones, most people buying Bose are older and successful people who care about sound quality more than style. On the other hand Beats has the new generation buying more expensive headphones based on style and not always the quality of the sound. Bose Mobile On-Ear Headphones blow away the Beats sound quality in general, but sometimes the Beats give off more of a greater base. In the style and coolness (If that’s even a word), due to the fact of the different color, sports stars and music icons are using these. So at the end of this, headphone matchup Bose takes the win. Based on that the sound quality should be more recognized than style on headphones. Headphones are for listening to music and not to where as accessory with your clothes.
Overall: These headphones are a great buy, if you have the around 200 dollars to spend on headphones, you are getting a great product. No only one of the best warranties and customer service in technology companies. These headphones will be a nice for listening to the great sound your getting off your music streaming devices. Go out and purchase them and be ready to be amazed.

Great comfy headphones, but if you're looking for quality, durability, and most importantly sound then the beats are the way to go. These headphones are nice and they sound nice, but nice or slightly above nice is all I can give them for the actual price of them.

the sound quality is the best I've ever heard from such small speakers. the sound is rich and you can hear every single instrument ... they are very comfortable. I could wear them for 5 h nonstop and it's like I didn't have them on. they are very light also. the only thing that I don't like about them so far is that the wire is very thin compared to other headphones(ex. Monster Beats)...

I had wanted these for a long time and finally pulled the trigger when i found they have discontinued this product, so whatever is left in stores is it. Great sound and comfort, and i like the case they can fold into. Would recommend.

These headphones are phenomenal. The clarity of sound that you get with these is absolutely perfect and you cannot find sound clearer than this anywhere else. I have friends who have all versions of the Dr. Dre's and when doing a comparison of sound quality, I feel that thes Bose on ear headphones always comes out on top. Although these headphones are $179.99, they are worth every penny in my eyes. I've had these headphones for about 3-4 years now and they still have the powerful clear sound that they provided me with when I first purchased them.
If you are on the fence about whether or not you should purchase these headphones, believe me they are definitely worth it and you will not be disappointed!
What's great about it: Sound clarity, nice smooth bass hits, portability, comforting pads, everything!
What's not so great: Price is a bit high, but definitely worth it!

This is a great headphone. I have never used a pair that was this great. Everyone who wrote a bad review based on how much outside sound it blocks out is stupid. This is not a noise canceling headset. However it blocks out plenty of sound and the quality is amazing. I don't listen to rap but love the way it sounds with rock and country. I do however think that the AE2 would be a better buy if you are worried about money. I would say the sound quality is just as good. But these are far more comfortable and come with a much better case.

there is no noise cancellation in this product, still it cuts off a considerable amount of noise and gives a great audio quality. if you are looking at something cheap and good go for this

I recieved these head phones as a gift what an awesome present by the way ! These head phones are for sure a great piece of equipment to own. So go get them!

Had these for a little while now, they sound great. The bass is not to great for what I like but still pretty good (I mainly listen to rap) They are comfortable and durable (the hinges are not plastic and won't break without abuse) Not sure if they are worth 180 though, I payed 161, only 20 dollar difference but still, they are the best around their price range, if you are more into style go for Dr. Dre Solos, same price (now) not as good quality or durability, but if you listen to rap the bass is better for ou and they are more stylish, but if you don't care about sound and just want a well balanced headphone, these are for you

What's not so great: Price a little to high, I don't like the case it came with much, the carving should be a bit bigger to fit it..

I dont like the thought of having batteries next to my head and cell phones are bad enough. I was given Bose head phones for a Christmas gift one year. I liked them so much that I got three more for my family. My husband has told me over and over how much he likes using the head phones. There are more expensive models that have batteries but I am very happy with these that dont.

These headphones to me have a great balance of comfort, lightweight, and sound quality. For an on ear headphone the memory foam cups are amazing for me. I've seen other people say that they create pressure but I haven't experienced this. They are lighter than what they look so I do forget I'm wearing them at times. This makes them feel like they will break easily but they seem durable enough so far (1 month of use). Sound quality is what these do best. I bought AE2 first and they were great but I wanted to see why these where more expensive. It didn't take long to figure out and that's saying a lot cause the AE2 were really good. Music and movies sounded fuller on OE and were smaller. The AE2 cups are large to surround your ear but I didn't want to use them walking around. Plus the OE passively reduces noise better than the AE2. The QC15 are by far better but that's what they are designed for plus I like to know what's going on around me (even though sometimes I won't know when someone is trying to get my attention on with the OE). They are not cheap but if you value all of the above you won't be disappointed.

Being a college student, i listen to music ALOT, whether its walking to classes or studying at the library or my dorm i always have my ipod going so i decided i wanted to get some quality headphones. at first i bought the sony piiq headphones but my mom insisted i go for quality and get bose despite the price. i was a little hesitant but i bought them anyways and i LOVE them! i hate noise canceling because i like to know when someone needs to talk to me or something but these do block out alot of noise anyways. these have superior sound quality and bose really impressed me with these. although i may return them just because i feel bad for my mom having spent so much money on this, i love them and i want to keep them but since times are hard now money is a big issue. it is worth every penny because of how good they sound. the only other downside it has besides price is that my ears get pretty warm while wearing them for awhile but thats not a huge issue. overall excellent headphones and i would definitely recommend these if money is not an issue or if you want quality.

I tried these headphones out, along with the Ae2 model at bestbuy recently and decided to try the trial for both of the headphones. I will post my review for the ae2 soon. First ill talk about these. Now remember that these headphones are on ear and will not cancel out any noise, which in my oppionion is a downside from the ae2 model. Comfort wise these headphones are good but not perfect, the padding on these headphones is durable and doesn't wear out quickly, but the material is kind of weird on your ears so its not perfect. Durability wise these have a replaceble audio cable, which makes this much more durable. Problem is the cable connects to another cable that goes into the headphones so if that one breaks your done. Other than that these are very thin headphones but seem very durable and wont break unless you break the headphone cable. Sound Quality wise, not as good as the QC3 and 15's but still offer clear and crisp sound. the one thing that did surprise me about these headphones is they have very powerful bass, a little too much for my tastes but if you listen to pop, hip hop, reggae, or rap then you wont have a problem. Rock could be a problem but it depends on how bass intensive the song is so don't worry to much about it. Great pair of headphones, holds up the bose sound quality, but isnt completly perfect in the from of comfort and durability.

I've had the skullcandy DJ headphones and bought the replacement coverage after my first pair broke... I went through 3 pairs of the skullcandys in 6 months. When the 3rd pair broke I was sick of replacing them. I really didn't want to spend anymore then $100 for headphones but sound quality and comfort is important so I splurged and bought these.
I'm glad I got these. Sound quality is clear and good for all kinds of music. Bass isn't overpowering. Very lightweight and comfortable it doesn't even feel like your wearing headphones.

Great choice for people that want Bose quality at a lower price. I received these as a gift on a trip when my flight experience was less than thrilling trying to listen to my iPod with my Bose earbuds. Although the sound canceling models do a much better job at actively canceling noises such as plane engine roar and annoying seat mates these OE Audio Phones do a well enough job to lesson the noise enough that you can truly hear your music and enjoy it. The price is much more reasonable. Although I did not purchase mine from BB (I purchased from the Bose factory store at a limited time special price) I would have paid full price after experiencing how great these are. People with poor sound quality may need to check their recordings or make sure none of the enhanced features are not active on your player such as bass boost or other sound features as they may cause the recording to sound destorted. I have had no trouble with my headphones. Music is crystal clear with the appropriate high and lows as expected. The ear pads are extremely comfortable and the size is smaller than the Around the Ear version that some may be turned off from. If you truly want a complete noise reduction headphone I would suggest that you look at those models in stead or you may not be happy with these. But if you aren't concerned about completely closing out the world these will be perfect. As I mentioned before, although they are not noise reduction headphones they do a decent job with cutting out some of the background noise including the ability to hear someone talking to you (they tend to sound muffled .
What's great about it: Sound quality, comfortable, great price (in my case), worth the cost even at full price.
What's not so great: Nothing so far. Met my needs for my plane flight easily.

they sound really good, the only thing i dont like is how they look on your head, and if its hot outside then your ears will get sweaty

First of all, I am a Highschooler and when I first bought these headphones I was afraid of how much they cost and getting mugged for them. However, I bought them and I have used them everyday for 2 years, on the bus, in school, studyhall, everywhere. When I first bought them I thought that they sounded rather bland, and that something was wrong with them. But, after a few hours of breaking in the headphones these headphones came to life. What I first noticed when I bought them was that there was nothing to complain about, like every sound was perfect. The bass was plentiful and full, the mids crisp, everything was perfectly fine. The sound quality is definitely enough to justify that $180 price tag. So, I started using these on the bus, and I have to say, even though these are not noise-canceling they do an amazing job of blocking out outer sounds, very surprising for something that goes on the ear (compared to over the ear). And their durability also surprised me. At first they seemed rather flimsy, but they never broke for me. The again I usually kept the headphones around my neck, or in the case(comes with the headphones). Also, these headphones are very, very comfortable, But, after maybe a few hours your ears will overheat. One bad thing I have to say is the detachable cord. The cord is way too flimsy and thin, the cord is BOUND to break sooner or later. Mine broke in about a year, but I was able to replace the cord directly from bose for about $5. Overall though, Amazing headphones.
