What's great about it: Extremely fun. Millions of Games. Pretty good graphics
What's not so great: Not really any, that I can think of.
"I bought a DS Lite after I played my friend's son's. I was immediately hooked. It offers new takes on many of the old games I grew up playing, plus millions more to peak any interest. My 2 favorites are MarioKart DS and Guitar Hero On Tour. I even got everyone in my department at work to buy one, and we battle during lunch and breaks. You can even play Gameboy Advance Games (the graphics aren't nearly as good), so this extends the possiblities and price range of the games you can play. There are tons of accessories, skins, cases, etc. so you can personalize your DS. It's all around one of the most entertaining things I've ever bought."

The size is perfect to transport it everywhere.

What's great about it: Good Graphics, Wireless, Portable
What's not so great: Screen Gets Dirty
"The DS is a great way to kill time on a road trip or on a flight. The games are small so the DS is portable and you can take a lot of games. The graphics are way better than the previous gameboys, and almost looks like a PSP's. Easy to play other people and great game system."

What's not so great: Shortened battery life on highest display settings.
"A Nintendo DS is a wonderful product. I bought one so I could play with my friends in various games, and I have not been disappointed. I was slightly dismayed to find the battery just doesn't last very well when the screen is at the brightest and easiest to see setting, but the dimmer ones significantly improve the amount of playing time to a single charge. The wireless feature is especially handy, and not having to spend extra money on connector cords like old gameboys is a pro. All in all, I am very pleased with this product."

"I have had one for over a year and not one faulty thing about it. It has plenty of good games that are quality and addicting, and it comes with everthing in the package, except for a game. Another thing is that it is pretty durable. Trust me you will not be dissapointed!"

"The Nintendo DS is a magnificent system for kids and even adults. Heck, it's even great for hardcore gamers like myself. What's great about it: Easy on the go

"Great for going on the go playing in the car trips or just playing around the house. Also great to play with friends with the WIFI network from home to connect with others around the world, or just connecting with someone right next to you. I'm personally 19 years old and bought one because my girl friend had one, so i purchased one and we play together all the time. Not just for kids!"

"The DS is just a great system that is super fun for all ages. The black one is great too since it doesnt show dirt and get dirty like the other coloers tend to do after time. The DS has tons of great game for all ages from Pokemon to Final Fantasy and Brainage to Pirates of The Carribean, its just really fun. Its also nice that you can old game boy games on it and that it has a touch screen which makes it super fun. Also the sleek and tiny system is easy to carry around and so simple to use. The battery life also lasts a fairly long time compared to other systems.
Some of the only fall backs to the DS is how easy it is to lose the stylus from it because of how small it is. Also the touchscreen doesnt always work in the corners of the screen. Another set back is the wifi capabilities and the range of connecting to others is not the best. Otherwise the DS is an awesome handheld system that i would recommend to all ages to play."

"This is the best portable gaming device out there, hands down. It's such a relief from the pre-released DS which was heavier, bulkier and less colorful. This one features Wi-Fi, a touch screen, and a much lighter feel and look. The games that are Wi-Fi compatible are extremely fun because you can play, talk, or trade with other players across the globe.
The screens on the Nintendo DS lite are really- light! The color and resolution on this device is basically crystal clear, which makes gaming a lot of fun.
There are so many games for the DS that you can not possibly get bored if you own one of these gaming devices. The games available have a great range, from kid games, to experienced RPGs. You can also get games that have a whole bunch of mini games which make great use of the bottom touch screen. There is also an internet browser for the DS allowing you to check email, message friends, and surf the web from the comfort of your DS!
Overall, this is the greatest and latest of the portable gaming devices."

"this is a very good handheld system, it also has some pretty good graphics for a handheld system... its also a very good idea to have a regular screen and then a seperate touch screen, and its very easy to use and its a good color, another thing i didnt mention was that it has very good games, and theres a lot of games for it too..... over all a very good buy and i would definently reccomend it to you....."

"There are some great games for this system and it will play all the Game Boy Advance games as well (not some real old games though).
We've had it for over a year now and my Son has dropped his on numerous occasions and it still works.
Pretty good battery life.
The kids all love them!"
