What's great about it: Small, portable, easy to use
"I bought this item for my niece and it is perfect. She absolutely loves it. She is nine and it is very easy for her to use. The battery last a long time. The games she plays on it are enjoyable for her and she tells me there are plenty of games to choose from. I would definitely recommend this item for those with children and especially those who take trips. It will keep them entertained for hours. Great buy!!!"

"Bought this for my daughter for christmas and she has not put it down. It has a great alarm clock feature! The graphics and games are amazing. She can take it anywear, and use the headphones! I recommend this product all the time."

"My 9 year old grandaughter carries this DS with her wherever she goes. It keeps her mind occupied and entertains her for hours. The convenient storage space for the stylus keeps it from getting lost. We only wish it would run longer on a charge."

What's not so great: Graphics could be better
"I purchased two of these for my two children for Christmas, and they were worth every cent. My kids (ages 7 & 13) take them whenever we have a road trip somewhere, and it keeps them entertained while I'm trying to drive. The DS is light, portable, convenient, and a whole lot of fun for my kids. It has a variety of games to choose from, so my skateboarding son and Sims loving daughter always have something that they like to play. In addition, they are able to communicate with each other through the DS with the built in Wi-Fi connection. All in all this is a great portable game system that offers fun for kids of all ages!"

"This is the best handheld game, it's does everything. Perfect size, touchscreen adds a new dimension to game play. I purchased one for each of my kids and they both love it.

Great System for All Types of Gamers

What's great about it: It's Pink!
What's not so great: The microphone causes you to get some pretty weird looks...
"I just bought myself a pink Nintendo DS Lite about a month ago. It's great! I enjoy video games, but I'm not hardcore or anything, and the DS is not only simple to use, it's got great games that vary for a large audience spectrum, and it comes in 4 cool colors! You can use the stylus whenever you choose, and it actually makes game play easier, in my opinion. I think it's a great value and worth the price. It's small enough that you can carry it around anywhere, and that's great for long trips or even waiting rooms. The battery life is really great as long as you're responsible when it comes to charging it (don't plug it in when it's not out of battery, don't leave it plugged in after it's done charging). I've got three games for it so far, and all three are really cool. I love the variety of games for this system.
Overall, a great product, as a gift to yourself or to someone else, even those who don't normally play video games will love this!"

"This is a great product for anyone and everyone, no matter if you are 7 years old or 70 years old everyone can find a game that is fun! You can learn other languages, learn how to cook, or even train your brain to be more sharp! If you have a child who doesn't really like reading or learning set them up with this they will be playing and learning at the same time! its awesome!"

What's great about it: Simple design, fairy easy menus to navigate, intuitive.
What's not so great: Some of the card games card numbers a little small to read.
"Bought second DS to sync up with for game room play at home. Was easy once downloads were transferred to the second unit. Game room allowed others the join. Chat feature active during apps fun also. DS with game pac is lead. Funner playing with others and will play more often now."

"I received this item as a gift and haven't played a handheld video game since a gameboy. A lot has changed since then! The touch screen is a great feature that allows the user more feasibility with games. The battery life is great; I can play for hours without recharging. The games that are available have come a long was as well. Brain Age and Flash Focus are two that I enjoy using daily. This is a great item for adults or kids to enjoy and use for years to come."

"My fiance just bought this for me a couple of days ago and I just love it. I use to have a gameboy advance, but lost it and he got me this. I love the color, it's so beautiful and sleek. The pen slot is so convienent and it works on the screen with no problems. You can customize it with ur fav color and a nickname, along with the date and time. Also has a chat feature...which would be very cool to use, but I don't know anyone else with one. I just love it."

What's not so great: Stylus is so tiny, sometimes you get cramps in your hand.
"I bought this for myself after harassing my friends for playing to much DS. They'd come over and just sit on my couch playing it...now I know why! =) This DS is awesome and very addicting. An outstanding upgrade from my old gameboy advance. The color is nice and bright, the touch screen is fantastic, it's a good size (not to big and yet not to small). The battery life is great, and I love the pink color. A great gift for anyone! My 7 year old niece and nephews love it and so do my 27 year old friends and I. Even my 2 year old son like to play animal crossing, even though he doesn't really now what he's doing he loves to play with it. I got an expandable Stylus, they are much more comfy to hold!"

"The nintendo ds is the best handheld game yet from Nintendo. The screens are so clear, no more squinting to see the screen. Love the games for the ds and the fact that you feel like you really get involved with the games, like you are in the screen. It would make a great gift for a child or an adult."
