What's great about it: the controls are probably the only cool thing about this system
What's not so great: not a good selection of games

"I regret so much buying this system, i guess i was just jumping on the ban wagon when i bought it, i wish i would have done some home work so i would gone with a 360 or sps3 instead. It gets a little fustrating whe i go to the store and try to pick a good game NOTHING......REALLY.......NOTHING.....trust me just go with a 360 instead or a sps3. Hope this helps someone!"

"The Wii is a whole lot of fun. The tilt, twist, and swing controls take a bit of getting used to, but when you do is great. Most of the games i have played for it make good use of the active controling. Being able to download and play old favs from NES, SNES, N64, and sega is really cool and the prices on the games are resonable.

Although the graphic abilities of this system are far behind that of the PS3, and Xbox systems, it makes up for in engaging action. This is a great system for kids, not only are many of the games kid friendly, but it encorages them to move around a bit. Its great for adults and parties as well. I dont know a single person who has tried this and has not had a blast.

If you are a hardcore FPS, shoot 'em up'er, or blood and guts fighter the Xbox or PS3 are probably better bets, but if you want fun, engaging games for the whole family, friends and whatever you cant go wrong with the Wii."

"Some of the games are fun, especially when you have friends or family over. When trying to sit down and play a game by yourself it's not so much fun. The Wiimote is a pain in the rear when trying to play Call of Duty and such games. Party games and kids games are where it's at on this machine. The down loadable content is pretty good with more stuff being added all the time it seems like. Making your Mii is kinda fun.

I'd recommend this but not for serious gamers."

What's great about it: wireless controllers, nice games
What's not so great: batteries last for about one month pklaying 4 hours per weeks

"Love it, really nice buy.... lots of hours of fun at $250. The only thing that I dont like is that the controllers chew up the batteries in one month, im planning to buy some recharge bock to solve this.

Graphics arent that good as in the PS3 but the games are funnier and you can play them with every member of the family without having to worry about violence and that stuff. My girlfriend loves it too, so now I can play with her without complains that she doesn´t like the games (like PC/X box games)"

"We have both the Nintendo Wii and the Xbox 360...bottom line: if you're a gamer with no kids, get the Xbox...but if you have kids, get the Wii. We also love all the Mario games so it was a no-brainer for us. I play the Wii with the kids and my husband goes into the back room to play his Xbox. He's in heaven and the kids have fun."

"This system is great for the whole family. My wife used to make fun of me for playing the Xbox and now she is addicted to Mario Kart. On the channel page you have messages, and one message each day will show you the use, so you can monitor your kids playing time. There are a lot of great games, but unfortunatly there are bad ones also. Trying to find the right games can be difficult, but most of the reviews on Bestbuy.com will lead you in the right direction."
