What's great about it: easy to setup, worth the money
What's not so great: The adhesive on the sensor bar

"I waited for three months, called several stores, went to gamestop 226 mile south and still nothing then sunday night I went to best buy, there sitting in a corner was a stack of wiis. Came back the next day at 10 to eleven and I could not be happier with the console and the games made. I just wish they made the signal on routers strong then 300ft. :)."

What's great about it: Good price for all the features, Nice Design
What's not so great: Spending so much money on all the accessories you will eventually need

"First of all, I don't quite understand why people complain so much about the graphic quality, because it doesn't really hold anything back and I feel that the graphic quality is fine.

The WII is probably the best gaming system you can get. I don't think they'll be able to come up with anything more advanced for a while -- but Nintendo has really outdone themselves here. It's very nice to look at, and can be for all ages. For younger kids and older adults who aren't really up to speed on electronics, my PS2 is hard to learn to use. But the Wii combines basic movements with intense gaming.

Many people are hesitating to purchase because of the price, 250-200 dollars IS quite a chunk of money, but I think it's money well spent. In fact, I'm actually suprised that the Wii doesn't cost MORE. You can access internet (you must have internet at your house already and you just pay a small fee of about 5 dollars for the browser window), buy games without leaving your house, talk to friends AND strangers, interact with other gamers in the comfort of your own home, check out the latest news and weather updates, make your own Mii (animated version of YOU), and even more. Also, when you buy your Wii it almost always comes with Wii Sports which can start you off if you've never used the Wii before.

I really like how the Wii can play my old GameCube games, so those don't go to waste; then I can just sell my GameCube at GameStop, and use the money to buy more Wii Games! I also like how when you buy certain Wii games, if those games require different accessories, they usually come with those accessories.

The only bad thing I can think of, is that after a year or so you'll probably have spent HUNDREDS of dollars on just the accessories and games for your wii. But if you spread out your purchases you should be fine. I would recommend getting another controller immediately when you buy the Wii; because it's much more fun and competitive when you play with your family."

"The Nintendo Wii is pretty awasome. I've had a Playstation 2, 3 and Xbox 360 and this is totally different!! Its not just sitting being a couch potato. You actually can get an exercize. and motion sencing is awasome. PS3 has SOME motion sencing but no fulltime like this does. ITs a revolution to gaming systems!!"

"Well, everyone is going to tell you how amazing this is. It's a revolution. I don't think I can go back to playing with PS3 or Xbox or Nintendo DS after playing with this, because you get so use to moving and controlling the game with motion. We got ours for Christmas 2008 and it was by far the best present ever. My brother didn't want one at first but after he played Bowling on Wii Sports for the first time, he hardly ever puts the controller down. All of the games are so interactive and unlike when you're trying to control the motion on PS3 or other systems, this actually responds. We only have 3 games at the moment, but you never get bored with them. I can't wait to see what other games for this can do!
If you're lucky enough to get one of these, you will never regret it! They're great for getting in shape and just playing for the heck of it! The graphics are breath-taking. Creating your own Mii is great too! We have our whole family, and more!"

What's great about it: Say GoodBye to being a couch potato!

"We got this for Christmas and it's the best purchase yet. We all play and have fun. My family age group ranges from 3 to 38. We haven't broken any furniture or bones jumping around trying to play tennis and boxing. Don't worry about buying extra games when you first buy this system because it comes with a sports package (bowling, tennis, baseball, golf and boxing). I imagine that these games can keep you busy for months. I would recommend buying an extra remote. Get the Wii Play game for $49.99 because it comes with a remote which alone is $39.99. The Wii play gives you more sports to play. We only have the one Nunchuk controller and we arent missing an extra one for now. Have fun and work up a sweat! FYI: The batteries for the remote that came with the system has last 3 weeks now with no signs of weakness."

"The system is really hyped up for something that quickly becomes a dust collector. I had the system from the time it came out and very quickly got tired of it. The design seems very fun, and at times it can be...However the games are childish and the picture quality is horrible. Especially on a HD tv.

Save your money and buy an xbox360 or ps3.

Great for kids, not so great for the rest of us."

What's great about it: The varity of games and getting you off the couch
What's not so great: On the Wii Fit you have to click from one exercise to the next exercise

"Ok, I'm 52 and I don't like gaming (when I was younger I did) but this is great. We have enjoyed several games, Wii Sport, Fit, Tiger Woods golf, and just lately Guitar Hero. Saturday night another couple and my wife went out for dnner then spent 2 hours playing like we were Rock Stars with guitar hero and hen bowled for hour. It beats wondering around in Walmart after dinner. This thing is Great. I gave it a 4 on durability as we broke the drum stick holder on the drums. It should be made a little tougher."

What's great about it: Just about everything!
What's not so great: Short battery life on Wii motes.

"The Nintendo Wii is one of my favorite gaming platforms at this point in time. I was the first in line for my town's Best Buy, and I couldn't be happier. Even though mine was one of the first released, I am still able to receive the 'bumper cases' for the wii motes, and the new wii wrist straps for free!

The only complaint I have ever had about the Wii is the battery life of the Wii motes. I play games that usually require the Wii motes to vibrate or 'bump' at me [like My Sims] and that can [and does] quickly drain the battery life. =\

Problem is easily solved with a purchase of Wii mote charger stands. I will be buying the dual stand now that I have two wii motes that need charging.

Otherwise, the rest is GREAT!!!!"

"The Nintendo Wii is well worth the price! It's a great way for everyone to play with multiple player settings on most of the games. It gets more fun as you get to know how it works. All Wiis come with Wii Sports (no extra cost). The wii is even fun for the kid's grandparents! There are wii games for all ages, and I would definately recommend buying it... it will certainly never get old in our house!!"

"Can't say much that hasn't already been said about the Wii. It's loads of fun and has a lot of cool features. Kid friendly games, but a few titles out there for the shoot 'em up types. Games are a bit pricey, but you don't need a huge library. Get the right games and you'll have plenty of fun."
