What's great about it: exercise, size
What's not so great: portability, graphics

"Great concept of exercise while playing video games, it's good to get them off the couch. The graphics could be a lot more realistic, too cartoonish. Although it's pretty small and you can buy a travel case, it would be nice if it was designed to be a little more portable with a handle."

What's great about it: Hours of fun with your children, even elders will have a great time with this.
What's not so great: Video games are more for kids. There aren't too many RPG games. You can't get the high def as the PS3 or Xbox can.

"I waited in line on opening day for 10 hours in the cold. I've enjoyed the system every since it came out. I believe I've spent well over $1000 in video games every since I bought the system.

It's great for kids, my 6 year old son can bowl on wii sports for hours on end and get constant strikes. It is also great for party's when you have friends over."

What's great about it: Fun, Revolutionary Gameplay for some games. Extremely robust controls. Very cool capabilities such as Wifi and Bluetooth
What's not so great: Extremely Childish Games. Platformers offer only real substance.

"I purchased this system a while back and have had a bit of time to play with it. While it is a great system with very robust controls, it lacks in the gameplay department. There are good games, don't get me wrong, with the best being platformers (Mario Games, Zelda etc), but all of the other publishers seem to be looking for only a quick buck, with poorly designed games that don't adequately take advantage of the system.

Still, great for group play, or single player play."

"I bought the wii after spending weeks looking for it from online vendors. I eventually just found one new at a store. Best purchase I've made in a long time. It's a lot of fun to use when you've got a few friends over. Especially Mario Strikers. What a great game!"

"After all the hype, the time waiting to purchase - I finally got my Nintento Wii. Almost a year later, its a dusty white box that sits under my T.V. With so few good games, poor controls (See: Red Steel) and expensive controllers I've lost taste in the over-hyped Nintendo Wii."

"The Nintendo Wii is a little kids Christmas biggie. I would wait online every morning at 9:00 for 2 months. After I got it, I would play it for hours a day. Then, like 3 months after I got it, I barley play it at all! So unless you or your kid loves to play video games, DON'T BUY IT! You will just be wasting your money!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

What's great about it: Its a really fun system, cheap, not complicated to use
What's not so great: Not that fun if you're playing by yourself, If you like amazing graphics this isn't the system for you

"I got my Wii about a month after the launch date and it was extremely fun to play at first. After a few months though the system seemed very repetitive and boring. There aren't enough games that use the new concept of the wii remote to its full capabilities so most of the time you're just standing there jerking the remote every few seconds. This system is great for parties and events with lots of people but I wouldn't recommend it to you if you just like to sit on your couch and play something like an fps."

What's great about it: Active, good games, Fun for whole Family
What's not so great: gets boring after awhile, alot of "kiddie" games

"This is good for Younger kids, and elderly people. There are a few good games Like Need For Speed: Prostreet, Rockband, and Guitar hero. But there are also alot of corny games that were make for 5 year olds. This is not a really great product for teens or young adults."
