"This is a must have for anyone who has kids that they want to be active! It gets you up out of your seat and ensures a great laugh. Everything it comes with out of the box is all you need to get started having fun! Make sure and get an extra remote though if you want to play with others! Great job Nintendo!"

What's great about it: This is a great game system for all ages
What's not so great: remotes are a little strange and placement of the sensor bar can be hit or miss

"I've never been much of a video game person. I play a little solitaire on the computer and I have a Gameboy that I use for Tetris.

Then I played a Wii at my friend's house and was hooked. This thing is so much fun! I know that there are tons of games out there, but honestly I'm having so much fun with the sports game that comes with it that I only bought one other for now.

My only problem has been the placement of the sensor bar. I have my television on a table so if I have the sensor bar on top it doesn't seem to read my remote very well if I'm sitting down to play a game. But, if I have the bar on the table at the base of the tv, it doesn't work well standing up to play. I haven't checked out other sensor bars yet - maybe a different one will solve the problem.

Bottom line - even if you're not much of a gamer - and I certainly am not (Pong anyone?) this is a great system to own. It gets you up off your butt and you can actually move around to play."

"I only have the Super Mario Bros game and so far it's great. I've also played the Wii Sports that come with the console and it's really fun and it makes me work up a sweat. I barely use it but when I do, I get the best out of it. I'm considering on getting a Wii Fit. I would definitely recommend this gae to my friends and family, I'm even considering getting on for my nephew. Very fun!"

What's great about it: Excellent multiplayer
What's not so great: Only 480p output, looks OK over component cables on HDTV, but no where near xbox 360 or PS3 quality

"The Wii is great if you have family or friends over and want to get everybody involved. It was not designed to be a real graphics powerhouse though, so expect it to look bland on your HDTV. If you're looking for a system with good gameplay, and fun multiplayer, but don't care about graphics, then the Wii is for you!"

What's great about it: Gets you off the couch and moving, Retro Games
What's not so great: 90% of the games are garbage

"This is a fun system to have. We play Wii Sports, Sports Resort, Mario Cart, EA Active and Wii Fit. Lots of fun in a simple design. I never thought that working out could be done this way but after 45 min. on the Wii Fit, I'm sweating ( I do all of the advanced workouts). Great for the kids as well, just be careful with the remotes, there not as durable and it's easy to destroy the "equilibrium" chip inside. Be very picky about the games as I stated above, 90% are garbage. Stick to the big name releases and you'll enjoy this system for a long time. The Retro Games that are in the Wii Store are GREAT! Original Mario, Zelda, Mega Man to name a few. For the price just can't be beat!!"

What's great about it: Gives up some exercise while playing most games.
What's not so great: Does not have HDMI and higher resolution graphics.

"We really like this system and mainly the fact that it gets you up and makes you exercise at least a little & a lot more with Wii Sports & Wii Fit programs. Graphics are a little blocky since it is only 480i, wish it was in 1080p. Hopefully a new console will address this and better resolution will be forthcoming.

Like the weather, news channel and various sports games.

Great unit but due for an upgrade."

"Exercise while you play! Received this for Christmas and the whole family has enjoyed it. Good range of games from Mario to Wii Fit Plus. Doesn't have Blu-Ray or Net Flix streaming, but at $200, it's a great value for a gaming system. Kids to grandparents enjoy the fun."

"Have been putting this off for some time now. Purchased a PS3 for my son 2 years back and hoping something would come of it. Have used the WII the last 2 Christmas' at my brothers home and really enjoyed it.
Finally broke down after Christmas and purchased the WII. Have found it the easiest ever to setup and use. The variety of games excellent and covers all ages, not just teenagers. Motivating me to excersize after work.
As of today this is everything I have wanted to see in a game system since my first interest back in the early 80's. Thanks Nintendo. I should have known."
