What's great about it: Really fun and easy to set up. What's not so great: The only problem is that the remote you use for the set-up is the only remote that can be player one...
"I got the Wii for Christmas in 2007, I loved it ever since! The system comes with a game in it, which is awesome because if you bought only the Wii and didn't get/buy seperate games for it , you don't have to wait to actually experience the game!!! Another thing I liked is that it comes with this thing called Miis, which is a sort of game that you can create your own avatar and it sort of follows you from game to game and instead of using the characters in the game.. you can use your Mii (this only works with SOME games not all like Super Paper Mario,Zelda, and Bratz The Movie, for example). Besides the problem in my Cons section there is one other problem that I have for my Wii, I have a game called My Sims that I LOVE and one day I accidentially left it out of the case and it got scratched and I thought it would be OK because my DVDs get scratched all the time and they work fine, but the game loaded half way and then it said, the game could not load and I tried and tried again but it didn't work so I had to buy a new game. So my advice for that is to immeadiately put your game into its case after you take it out of the system. Overall this game system is AWESOME except for those minor things. Hope you liked my review :D"

"When I decided that eventually I would buy a Wii, I figured all I would ever want was Wii Sports, which came with the purchase. Turns out it's not so. Wii Sports gets old very quickly, and since bowling is the only game where you can actually compete in a full game/match/round, etc. you will lose your interest quickly. The games which are available for the Wii are very limited, and not many of the games I would buy have even been released. But there are a bunch of innovative titles available that would only truly be fun on a Wii. Again, the most unfortunate element of this system, which is endemic to most if not all games systems ever created, is that there is often very little skill involved in achieving success in the games (specifically Wii Sports), rather, it's how the computer interprets your movements and can therefore decide how to execute the maneuver you intended to use."

"when i bought this game console for my little kids, i knew i was making a big purchase. but it is worth it. before that my kids had ps2, but then i saw that they just sat there and didnt move any part of the body except their fingers. when they got the wii, they were very active. even though they still sometimes need to be a little bit closer to the screen, they were moving a lot and having fun. but i was kind of disapointed when i saw that the accesorries were so expensive and if for example you want to buy a racing game, you should buy the wii wheel cause otherwise it will not be fun playing. i really loved the idea of getting such a nice and active game with it. there are not a lot of games out yet, but almost all of the games that already are out in stores are great. but i haven't found any big problems that can get you worried. the console is absolutely great and i would recommend it to everyone."
