Ok System Good For the Young and Old

What's great about it: Fun.. Wii sports.. Cheap
What's not so great: Gets boring and horrible graphics
"The Wii is a pretty good system if you are a casual gamer or really young or old... but if you are in to shooting games and graphics and such than go with the xbox 360 or PS3... otherwise this is a great system and is a great concept."

Greatest System Ever!

What's great about it: Keeps you active!
What's not so great: The only con I can think of is that it has a lot of wires, but they do now have a wireless sensor bar, which helps.
"The Wii is great! One of the most fun systems! I highly reccomend it to anyone. This is a video game that still keeps you active ulike other video games."

What's great about it: The Concept of the System
What's not so great: Not enough Co-Op games
"It is an amazing system. Anyone who has it must buy Mario Strikers Charged. Also, as stated in the pros section the games are great since you have to move the controllers to actually make the actions."

What's not so great: doesn't have internet for free

What's great about it: young children can play with older siblings and parrents
What's not so great: The internet is slow and cant very well pick up wireless signals. No wired connection
"overall the system is very fun with many things other than the games. DONT BE FOOLED ABOUT MEMORY CARDS!!! chances are you wont need extra memory unless you download stuff and even so almost all regular sd cards will work. Consider this you can get a 2gb sd card made by nintendo for $50 or a 4gb sd card for 25. (on sale look for these deals they come around almost all the time)"

"I though whoud love the wii but it is many only for kids. All of the games are many baby games. You mosty have to stand up for all of the games. They will never make call of dudy 4 for it. I loved it at frist but then I though is this all I going to do."

Super fun for a bit

What's great about it: Fun and interactive for all ages
What's not so great: Games not the best and The graphics are just not what they should be
"The Wii is a really fun system where you get to control your curser and play games by moving to controller and aiming it, which makes it fun. Also the Wii is super fun to play with friends and groups of people. However its not exactly to best game for individuals. Not at all. Its actually sort of boring because there are few games for the Wii that are fun to play just as a individual. But on the other hand it is the best system to play when you are with a large group of people because of games like Wii sports and Mario Party which none of the other system could have. But though the Wii has some good games many of the games just arent in comparisson to the exact same game as the Xbox 360 or Playstation 3. Such as madden and other sports games and also any of the shooter games like Call fo Duty. The Wii is grreat for all ages though. So if your looking for something that you can play with groups of people of any age the Wii is right for you. But if your looking for a game system that you want to play by yourself and enjoy i wouldnt recommend this to yoy."

What's great about it: It's Innovative; Gets you off the couch!
What's not so great: Graphics are nothing compared to Playstation 3 or Xbox 360; All games are based around Kids
"I have to say this was a surprise to me. Since buying this system have had so much fun with the ability to actually play the game compared to sitting down and just pressing buttons. Some games do seem a little weird with the controls. But for the most part its fine.
It's best when you play with other people. I think there could be a better selection of games. I like Mario as much as the next person but when you grow up you would like to play some other titles. I know this system was meant for the kids but to really be considered a great system don't you have to appeal to everyone? I at least think so. With that said I would tell anyone if they can actually find this system they should get it!!!"

What's great about it: Play wii games and gamecube games. There is so much you can do with this system. Also goes 480p.
What's not so great: Nothing, it just keeps getting better and better.
"When my parents pulled out the wii i was thrilled. I knew that all my friends were going to be talking about it. I have many games now and I can't get sick of them especially Super Smash Bros. Brawl.
I believe this system is up there with the newest and coolest gaming systems out there today. The Wii has many accessories such as classic gamecube controller, guitar, steering wheel, gun connection, and so much more."

What's great about it: Diffrent then other machines gets you active while having fun.
What's not so great: Expensive to get all accessories.
"This machine is fun for the whole family from the sports that comes with it to accessories you can purchase like the wii fit. Love playing it with my nieces and nephews. I own a PS3 and find that we play the WII more. You can download some other games write off the internet with WII credits. It's hard to find but well worth the trouble. Would recommend this machine to anyone at any age."

"Many people say that this is a great system because it keeps kids active. Sure, it takes more than thumb action but not much more. The workout recieved from a WII is nothing close to a workout recieved doing the real thing. Plus, many motions can be cheated and done while sitting on the couch. Like hitting a base ball with the flick of a wrist instead of a full swing."

The Wii Is Worth It!

What's great about it: Backward Play Of GCN Games, Virtual Console Downloads, Wi-Fi Enabled, Surf the Internet.
What's not so great: No DVD Player Support Yet.
"The Wii is the best system I've bought in a very long time I'd recommend this to anyone who doesn't care about Nex-Gen graphics only. Games are awsome, my favorites include Pokemon Battle Revoultion, Smash Bros Brawl & Mario Kart Wii. Plus I love the variety of VC games they have to download including Mario 64, DKC 1, 2, & 3 All the Mario Games & Sonic. My only regret is I gave my Wii to my younger bro, so my mom would buy me a PS3."
