"I love how the Wii is fun for kids and grown ups. You should consider also getting the the Wii battery rechargeable accessory for the controllers, or you may end up spending a fortune on batteries. A lot of the games encourage players to be more physical, instead of some of the other games systems out there which basically have the kids sitting on the couch to play. It is also very easy to hook up."

"What is the top selling console (beside PCs) in the world... The WII. Should it be up there, no. THe only reason I think that is because I am between the ages of 10-32. The wii offers a variety of games but the only decent ones I can think of are Super Smash bros, Mario Galaxy, and boom blox. The reason the wii is so succesful is because of its controls, however those controls dont often work in non-nintendo games. Another dissapointment is that there is so little memory space in the wii (only 2000 blocks, each Virtual Console game and wii ware game takes up about 100 blocks) that I have 8 of the 1GB memory sticks at my house. Another dissapointment is the lack of good shooters, the point & shoot controls would work perfectly but sadly since the graphics aren't good developers aren't even attempting good shooters. I would give the system a 6.7 out of 10. OK"

"This is an excellent console for kids and adults of any age. Not only the games but the features, too! A few other accessories and games could be worth it. The graphics aren’t as good as Sony products though. It is compatible with 16:9 aspect ratio, but would be worth buying an HD-Ready console for an HDTV. It doesn’t have a built-in DVD Player, unlike its competitors, the 360 and PS3. Nintendo IS planning on making a Wii with a DVD player, but you would have to buy a new Wii for that. You are better off using an old computer or regular DVD Player for it. But out of all three next generation consoles, Wii in my opinion is the best!"

"The Wii is th best gaming system out there hands down. Not only does it offer a adventure with lots of fun it also brings the idea of family and friends together. Most of the games that are good are good because you can play with more than one person. The Wiimote and the nunchuck ar also imprtant because it gets you in volved in the game and it really does get you working. Best Buy is also great because their wii games are cheap and they have a bunch of games The wii is also looking out for kids out there who play all day long and after 25 minutes or so it asks you if you want to take a break. Your mom does ask you, your brother doesn't kick you off the game, YOUR GAME ASKS YOU. I think that is great. To summarize everything the Wii is a great system it has all he qualities of other gaming systems with newer better qualities added in. And Best Buy is the place to shop for Wii games"

What's great about it: Small and easy to transport, allows exercise instead of mindless sitting, assortment of unique Nintinedo titles, etc. What's not so great: Some third party titles not worth it. (But frankly who cares.)
"This machine is so compact and the box so nicely marked I can literally take it to my friends houses with me. Its a wonderful machine, and for its size runs REALLY fast, load times are not a problem in and out of game. It boasts instant weather reports, regular system patches, and news on demand. It even has a browser.
Its motion sensitivity and large variety of different types of games for all ages make this small but powerful console perfect for even your grandparents who don't like video games.
The Wii sports included is realistic in the way its controlled, the boxing game literally feels like a fight, and makes you sweat too! Games like Brawl are nice for teens to adults, while stuff like No More Heroes is a wonderful and humorous blood fiesta for more mature audiences.
The internal wireless allows internet connections if you have a wireless router, so you don't have to buy a bunch of console accessories like with other systems.
New things like WiiFit even make it like a virtual exercise machine, so your getting more then just a console.
Backwards compatibility is literally perfect. If you owned a GameCube prior to this pull out all your old games, controllers, and memory cards and use them with no problems.
This is without doubt the best of the three, which is shown by the statistics. At the time I am writing this the product is sold out and it has been nearly two years since its release.

What's great about it: wifi, mii customization, assortments of games, but the best is MOTION SENSORY What's not so great: graphics(not a big deal tho) doesnt get some mature games.
"The Wii is really fun. I Have had it for a year and a half now and i can say that i get a little exhausted after playing some games like (mario and sonic olympics). I get really tired when you have to sprint, swim, or swing the hammer. I can't see why anyone wouldn't want this system. O.K. so it doesn't have better graphics than the ps3 or the 360. its just graphics its not gunna change the game play or the excitement. wow you can see the different types of dirt on the ground or the wrinkles in the guys clothes. wii is the best cuz of the motion sensory. wii sports is one of the best games cuz the whole family can play. my teacher 54 years old just bought a wii and the fit. wii has free online capability unlike xbox live. the only thing i dislike is you cant get alot of mature games like GTA4. WII is the best 360 or ps3 cant beat it."

"I love the wii!
I purchased the wii for myself – I’m not a gamer – my husband is. He loves those on-line multiplayer games. Not for me. I’m over 40, no kids – and the wii is just a perfect system for me.
My curiosity was first intrigued when I saw the Nurf gamepack – has a tennis racket, golf club and baseball bat extension for the wii remote. Huh – actually swing the tennis racket to play tennis. Sounded intriguing.
So I checked out the wii, and saw that it was packaged with wii Sports. Tennis, golf, baseball, bowling and boxing. Then, the wii Fit was the finishing touch, and I was sold.
So how cool is this – I can play tennis or golf without having to pay membership dues, without having to pay for a ball machine or a bucket of balls. Without having to convince a friend to go with me, just so they’re embarrassed when I hit the ball out of the court. And I can do it in the comfort of my temperature appropriate home where it’s not freezing in the winter or too hot and muggy in the summer. No mosquitoes, no concern over being mugged, or being hit by a car (in reference to the jogging module in wii fit). And I save the gas and the time driving to town to go to a club, a court etc.
And I get to try things I never would – boxing as an example – or things I just would not normally play now that I’m older – baseball and soccer.
For me, connecting to the internet was easy -- click the button, and it found my wireless router -- easy.
I can’t comment on the action/ adventure or kids games – but for me, it’s been a great addition to my household. It’s perfect for mii!"
