What's great about it: Fun games, great family time and some exercise
What's not so great: pricey games, achy after a while, forever to get a Wii

"My daughter wants to play every chance she has, which is not alot, so I don't mind as much as with the other systems that are out there. I know she is moving around in order to play some of these games. When her friends come over it is a madhouse but it is funny to see them all excited about playing a game."

What's great about it: Most interactive system, best family system
What's not so great: Get sore from playing it

"This is a great system that is just starting to get the games it deserves. This is a game console that the whole family can enjoy even if you have little ones.

I got this system for me and my wife to enjoy together and when my son gets a little older he can play too. Though he can't play he mimics us with a old remote that he likes to play with.

It is also a great system for exercise and helps burn those pesky calories.

Get it for fun, weight loss, or just for something different."

Fantastic fun for everybody 04/30/2008

What's great about it: Great to play with others, get a workout

"This gaming machine is just so much fun. I've had friends/co-workers who had it and so I just had to get one for myself. It's more fun than I had expected, and it's a lot of fun to play with multiple players. Plus, I feel like I could get a great workout from playing it! My friend and I do the boxing game, and I need to take a break between games to catch a breath! The interactive aspect of the game makes it fun to play games while not just sitting on the couch. It's even fun to just sit and watch people play the game and get so into it.

I'd say the only drawback is that it tracks how much time you've spent on it - which in reality really isn't a drawback...it just goes to show how much of my time I've spent playing it each day! :)"

What's great about it: Small size comparitively, involving game, good for people who dont get a lot of excersize.
What's not so great: ocasionally does not read a disk that is perfectly clean, but other than that GREAT Buy

"It is great to actually be involved in a game instead of just playing it. It is also small compared to many other gaming systems. It is probably the next closest thing to virtual reality."

"When I first got my hands on one of these bad boys, I went nuts. The wireless technology is extremely fun. The wii games are addicting, and this is acually something the entire family can enjoy. My parents, who never play video games, love this hardware.
The one thing that dragged me to the store to purchase the Wii was the fact that you can play your old school favorites from Nes to Nintendo 64. Including Mario 64, Donkey Kong Country, Pac Man, and the Oringinal Mario Bros. to name a few. They even threw in Sega Genisis games in the mix.
I haven't even mentioned the Wii games yet. The most fantastic games that uses the Wii remote talents Carnival games, Super Mario Galaxy, and many others. The graphics combine a cartoon feel mix with High Def.
If your planning to buy one for your kids or even for yourself, the Nintendo Wii is definatly a Great choice the whole family can enjoy."

What's great about it: Price, fun factor, features

"This little box is awesome and fun for the whole family. Video games are about one thing -- the games. Nintendo is known for having some of the best games available for the whole family. You can even play your old Gamecube games, and wireless connection to the internet (Nintendo's game site, etc.) is built-in. Hours of fun are guaranteed!"

"My husband and I bought the Wii system before Christmas for ourselves and our three girls. Our two older ones (ages 7 & 4) have a blast with it. The remote is so easy to use and whenever people come over that haven't played before, they pick up on it right away.

I would highly recommend getting it. We have never owned a gaming system before this one."

"Well, I got my hands on a Wii, and my only question is: 'Why on earth did I wait so long to buy one of these?' I've played every game system since Atari, and this one tops them all. Sure it doesn't have the graphics of the PS3 or the game library of the Xbox (yet), but the Wii has 10 times the fun factor of both of those other next-gen systems combined. Plus, the price is right! If you're thinking about getting a Wii, stop thinking, and start trying to find one!"
