What's great about it: Very interactive, gets you on your feet, more fun than an XBox or PS2
What's not so great: Graphics and sound not as impressive as XBox or PS2

"A welcome change from the violence theme the competitors seem so popular for.
The game themes attract a family to play together.
Although the graphics and sound are not as impressive as the competition, the competition does not begin to compare with the fun and player interaction offered by the Wii."

What's great about it: controllers
What's not so great: graphics

"worth the wait,money, etc. very accessible to people who aren't gamers. bring it to family functions so even grandpa can get involved. most of the 1st party games are excellent (not so much third party) old-school games came be downloaded easily and cheaply. good way to relive your youth. be careful of battery consumption- you will blow through them if you play alot.good customer service with nintendo, i have had some minor issues with disc play back and they have always corrected the problem quickly.
overall a must have for any person/family."

Everyone from my 17 year old to my 65 year old parents (who also have this system) love it.
Found my network no problem, my 20 year old son plays mario cart online.

What's not so great: Comes with RCA connectors not S-vid or better

"I recieved a Wii for my birthday and we all have had a blast on it.

The Tech is phenominal. You really feel like a part of the game.

The range of game selection can entertain all ages or walks of life.

I have had many game systems through the years but this one has the edge."

"This is the most fun I have had in years playing video games. It is real easy to use and understand and the games are easy to learn with the practice modes that you can hone your skills. I would recommend this to anyone any age. Even though they are hard to find it is well worth the hunt."

What's great about it: easy to set up. easy to learn how to play. Anyone can play it. Graphics and motion are "real."
What's not so great: Soreness from playing so much!!!

"This was my first game console. What a gift! It can be played alone, with my spouse, family, friends or another couple. What a great way to enjoy time together. Good exercise- try going 9-12 rounds of boxing in a row with a sweatshirt on.
In this time of poor TV and high gas prices, this is a GEM!"

"I love the Wii! gets you off the sofa and into the games. My 4 year old sone loves it especially the driving games, it didn't take him long to pick up the controller and start rolling, no buttons to remember for some of his favorite games, the more difficult ones like LegoStar wars he mostly runs around and kills everyone and has a blast. I have over 15 games and graphics look good and there is only one i dont like but that is a simple kids game, not challeging enough for me!"

"I bought my Wii last August from a Best Buy store, and use it almost everyday! My parents, siblings and friends all loved to use it as well. It is a great purchase for any type of person, whether you are purchasing for young children, college student, parents, or even grandparents.
The Wii incorporates all of the classic games, while instilling the new games that you see everyday on other systems. It compares not in graphics to the other leading systems, but where it lacks there, it beats these other systems in entertainment. The wireless controllers along with the interactive games keep the user entertained day after day."

"i had bought the nintendo wii in bestbuy and it was one of the best purchases that i ever made. it wasnt as expensive as the xbox or ps3 but just as good. graphics are a little off but still 5 star system"

"Excellent system that gets you off the couch and moving. Remote takes a little getting use to but once you do its fun. Graphics aren't bad but with other systems hitting high def, could use a little boost. Still looks good on 60 inch."

What's great about it: ease of use, the wii sports is pretty fun, everyone will enjoy playing on the wii
What's not so great: the nuchuck controller can be a bit bothersome when using it during the wii boxing

"I am glad we were able to finally get our hands on a wii. We when were thinking of upgrading our current game systems(xbox & ps2) my wife and I wanted that would get our sons more involved in the game experience and not just sitting there pressing buttons. Our boys probably played the wii for a good two hours and they got a work out. I will also say I worked up a pretty good sweat playing the wii tennis. I am glad we decided on the wii instead of the xbox 360 and the ps3. Plus, you can not be the price."

What's not so great: Kiddie Games mostly, very sensitive Wii remote aiming

"I love the Wii. It is very fun because it gets you up off the couch, and it makes games that are fun to play with friends and family. Not only that, but I have family playing video games that never would play ANYTHING else! The only downside I see to it is that most of the games are very kiddie oriented. The remote aiming is also too sensitive to bouncing around/wiggling. All in all, very good family fun."
