For the price it is great, The games on it are more family oriented and it is a perfect purchase for a family system ( and all of you nintendo fanatics).. "I hesitated getting the wii originally, and ended up being caught in the shortage. I finally got one, and fell in love. Wii Sports is addicting as all get out, and I bought Rayman Raving Rabbids, which my family and I found so hysterical that we bought the second one soon after. I have some pretty serious knee problems, so exercise is difficult to come by, and I work part time due to this problem. The Wii is entertaining, and gives you some exercise at the same time. I could not live without my Wii! Compared to the PS3, which in my opinion is a major disappointment, the Wii blows past it's competition. Don't get me wrong, I love our XBox360, but I love our Wii much more. We love getting together a group and playing, for the price you will pay there will be endless fun! GO FOR IT!!!"

What's great about it: Nice design, small system & easy to use for all ages! "My 4yr. old got the hang of it right away" What's not so great: You have to plug the other controllers into the regular one, I think it would be nicer if they had a sensor too.
"It's great that it doesn't take up alot of space & it's not heavy so you can take it with you. It always hated sports games, but the wii has changed my perspective. I love the sports game that came with it & I like the fact that you get to move around. . . not much of a couch potato any more. ;-) Great game for younger kids too. Helped my daughter with eye hand coordination, exercise & helped teach her how to play sports. I even got my Dad to play! Great job Nintendo on making a system that is fun for all ages!"

"I love this game for my children. I have 9 children all ages of 7 - 15. They each got a remote and it's a great family game. It gives you great excerise. All of children love it like my oldest, Samantha she has her friends over and loves it. My two sets of twins play against each other. It would be Miranda and Lauren (the 1st set of twins) would verse Brittany and Anthony (set 2). My youngest, Ely who is 7 loves it too. I tell everyone about it. I have a huge family. I have 6 sisters and 4 brothers. I tell all of them to buy it for there kids."

"If you can get your hands on one, this console is definatly for the casual gamer. If your a hard core gamer, go with a PS3 or XBox 360. The Wii is excellent for having friends/family over to play. "This system is off the hook!! Its really fun. The only thing I dont like is that the remote connection sometimes disconnects while you are playing which can get annoying but that doesn't happen much. Right now I'm playing Resident Evil 4 and it rocks. The only thing I would say that it really isn't for hardcore games when they say it's for everyone. There aren't many shooters eitheir. If you want to really get in the game like keep up to date with the gaming world, then get the PS3 or Xbox 360. But I think its still pretty good though I would prefer they create more shooters and action games."

"I got this for Christmas and I was blown away on how mcuh fun it was! Wii sports is great. You actually feel like you are playing tennis or baseball. Also if you get any othe game like fishing or football you really feel like your there doing it yourself! Also the Wii store has the greatest old Nintendo games that are video game classics! The Wii is the greastest game system I beleive anyone has ever invented. The Wii is awesome and if you dont already have it go buy it. I'm almost positive you will love it."

"Hey Everyone, I picked one of these up before the out of stock scare and i enjoy it. I love the Online features such as old school nintendo classics.. ive spent more money on classics like donkey kong, all marios bro's, super metroid just to name a few. (and they're Cheap unlike xbox live arcade) The new controller is nice but doesn't work for anything besides Nintendo exclusives. I'll be honest here, Third party games are almost all pure poo on the Wii system..unless your 4 years old (except Resident Evil 4). One thing that bugs me is it has online abilities but you can't play anyone unless its PoKeMan Battle Revolution lol.,. If your a serious old school gamer id pick this up but its slim pickins on software unless you want to play Hannah Montanna or High School Musical Death Karaoke Jam. You owe it to yourself to save Princess Zelda and Peach! Pick one up!"

"The Nintendo wii, has to be one of the greatest and unique inventions in entertainment market today. You get more then just the standard "Controller" Play as you have a controller known as the "Wii-Mote" which you have to turn, and spin and flick to play the games that you choose, such as my favorites "Mario Party, Ray-Man Raving Rabbids, Super Mario Galaxy and other sport aliases such as Bowling and tennis". The wii offers a Online service in which the user can access to a high speed internet and can connect and play games with other users and can use points that are found on a "Wii-Points Card" which can be bought at any place video games are sold, or you can buy them conveniently with your credit card straight from the system. These points will allow you to download content, such as games from the old Nintendo 64, and NES (Nintendo Entertainment System) and other downloadables aswell. The System itself can be fully backwards compatable in which you can play any Nintendo GameCube game on the wii itself. It might be hard to find one because the system is currently the cheapest, and my opinion and so many others"
