"I've owned the PS3 since launch day, and recently picked up the Wii as a second console - I was truly blown away by this little marvel. It's a great system for anytime, casual play, and the bundled Wii Sports gives you a taste of what the the console is capable of. The motion-sensing controller is very intuitive and easy to use and very responsive. One of the neat features of the Wii is the ability to purchase Virtual Console titles, which are downloadable games from a select library of titles from classic systems such as the Genesis and N64. I look forward to lots of entertaining casual gaming with my new Wii!"

"If you have a kid 12 or under this system is perfect. Wii is great for parties as well. The graphics are very good and the online is free- so thats good. There isnt much game choice, and a lot of stuff is consistently sold out. Theres no Call of Duty 4, Rockband, and GH3 is sold out all the time. But overall, a very good system, especially considering the price."

"Well deserving of all the hype. After years of hearing "why do you have to play those video games" from my wife, she was the one who pushed the idea of getting a wii. We also have an xbox 360, which has much better graphics but the controllers are meant for someone who has lots of experience (and time spent) playing video games. What the wii lacks in looks it more than makes up for in ease of play. Great for kids, great for entertaining. Worth the wait."

"This was an impulse buy for me. I just happened upon a whole shipment of them in Best Buy. I have since sold it for nearly twice what I paid. However, the three times that I actually played it, it was a lot of fun. This was great for parties, but not so much for solitaire gaming. Also, I have an HDTV and the picture looks terrible unless you spend the money on the component cables for the system. Even then it only upconverts to 480i. Overall, I do recommend this product to anyone looking for something to do when hosting parties, with small children, or Mario fans. Otherwise, the wii you purchase will probably end up being a resale within a few months of purchase."

"Ok, i know that the Wii is like, the best selling system at the moment, but i don't see what be big deal is. The graphics are lacking, the memory is lacking, the game selection is lacking, and a bunch of other things. The only thing i can give it is Wii Sports, because it gets you off your butt and has you playing... stuff. Otherwise, it, dare I say, sucks. I would highly recommend a Xbox 360 of a PS3. They are much better systems, that can play high-def movies and other things. The only system I like from Nintendo is the Nintendo DS. That is way more fun than the Wii. So I say, forget the Wii, buy anything else."

"I've had the Wii since the beginning, and I've never had any regret in purchasing it.
Great to play with the family, with girl friends, with anyone for that matter.
Yes the graphics aren't as superior to the PS3 or Xbox 360, but the games that utilize the play control of the Wii remotes are unique, interesting, and just plain good fun.
Nintendo has always been about reinventing the gaming concept and they've done it once again.
I can't wait to see the online potential in the coming years. I highly recommend it. ^_^"

"The kids love playing games on the Wii. The controls have flown across the room a couple of times when they weren't using the wrist straps. Had to send the Wii in for repair before the year warranty was up because the discs weren't reading properly. It was restored fast and sent back to us within a week. Also received another year warranty."

"First off, let me start off by saying that the wii was a pain to find. I honestly called and complained to nintendo and was just about to give up. I will not disclose where i purchased it since BB could not provide. The Wii is an amazing concept. It gives you the feeling of being in the game as opposed to just a gaming person in front of the TV. I enjoy my hardcore games and quite frank, this is not the console for that. If you're looking for a family, fun, don't make me think of exercising.. type of console- This is IT! I love my wii and i do agree that the sensor can be a pain from time to time. Definitely, get the jacket if you have the old version, meaning first batch... b/c the newer wii's come with them. I can honestly say graphics are not bad, the sound and rumble on the wii-mote is great. All in all, get one if you can find one. Be careful of the Wii sports, it's addictive especially boxing and tennis. LOL!"

"I've had a Wii for several months. I love it. We have no major problems with it, and simply follow the manual and WEAR THE STRAP; and you should have NO problems. It is the greatest way for a fun activity when family and friends come around. You don't just sit and push buttons, you ACTUALLY get to get up and MOVE. WHICH...I am a MOVER so it is PERFECT for me. Takes a bit to get use to, but once you have it; it is a really good time."

"I've had my wii since christmas. There is nothing good about it. Everybody who wrote a good review must be right handed. The graphics are only a step up from the nintendo 64. If i stand next to my friend who's right handed and the same height as me and played tennis, it would sence his movements but not mine. I have tried using different controllers, the bottom line is that IT DOES NOT SENCE LEFT HANDED MOVEMENTS!!! I have moved the wii sensor bar everywhere around my TV and it is the same response. If I were you I would buy a Playstation 2, 3, or even a PSP."
