What's great about it: EASY INSTALL AND TOO MUCH MUSIC TO LISTEN TO
What's not so great: A BIT PRICEY
"AWSOME! ONE THE BEST THINGS I BOUGHT IN A LONG TIME. NO MORE HAVING TO CHANGE BETWEEN RADIO STATIONS WHEN THEY START TALKING AND NO NEED TO CARRY ALL 70 CDS JUST TO LISTEN TO ONLY 30 SONGS OUT OF ALL THOSE CDS. TO TOP IT OFF, THE CHRISTIAN RADIO STATION HAS ALL OF THE GREATEST HITS. I ADMITT IT WAS A BIT TOO MUCH MONEY WISE BUT IT WAS A GOOD THING I GOT A 60 DOLLAR GIFT CARD TOWARDS IT. THEY EVEN GIVE A FREE ONLINE SUBSCRIPTION TO LISTEN TO SATELITE RADIO. PRAISE GOD AND GOD BLESS"

What's great about it: Pause Funcation, Rewind, Large Easy To Read Display
What's not so great: Cheaply Assembled
"This is a very nice radio. I especially love the ability to pause and rewind live radio (similar to a DVR/Tivo) which becomes very useful if you have to make a phone call while driving, or any other reason you would want to pause what you are listening to.
The display is very easy to read, unlike some of the cheaper models with the orange display.
The menu options take a little while to get used to, trying to find where everything is for settings, but once you get a hang of it it is no problem.
The one problem I had was one of these had the select button on the right (the round button in the middle) tore away from the rest of the buttons and would fall out on occasion, I had to rest it in the spot where it belonged, but pressing the button that way was tedious because it would move around while tryign to push it.
Returned it to the store on my Extended Warranty i had purchased with it, and got a brand new one, no problem, new one been working fine, button still intact."

What's great about it: Easy to operate
What's not so great: When really hot out, the suction cup sometimes releases
"Great service. I get reception unless a really stormy day and I am driving in a remote area. Good channel choices and enjoy the NFL stuff.
Get the extra reception accessory to avoid problems."

"This little piece of electronic equipment is amazing. I have to travel a lot and never have the same car. It's easy to transfer from car to car. But if you wanted it to be permenant in one car, it's easy to do too. The only problem I've had is that the A/C adapter broke on me once. other than that It's been hassle free. The FM transmitter is a little fuzzy when in bigger cities but I just transfer over to a tape adapter and all is well."

"I bought Sirius for my wife in Jan. 06 for her 3+ hour roundtrip commute. She loves Howard Stern and finds that the travel isn't so bad when you can listen to Howard and all music stations commercial-free. It took about 1 hour to install the antenna and about 10 minutes for the remainder of the installation.
I bought my Sirius receiver including the boom box in summer 06. Now I find I NEVER listen to regular radio. I enjoy the Nascar channel as well.
One of the best purchases I ever made."

"My wife got this for me last year and I love it! I'll never have to hunt channel to channel to listen to a football game as I travel. It's just right there and clear as can be! Also, I got the home docking station and bring the radio in every evening to listen to talk stations at night. Highly recommend the FM direct connect cable, it's easy to install, only took me about 20 minutes, and brings the most clarity to the stations. I rarely here terrestrial radio anymore, and have yet to miss it. Everything a fellow could need is on Sirius!"

"I have sirius at home from Dish network and that's when it all started. I couldn't stand not being able to listen to all my favorite stations in my car.
I think I paid $116 total (with tax) but with my current radio I had to get it profsionaly installed which cost $75 including the FM direct cable which sent me back $30 but after I got it all installed I fell in love with stations that I couldn't get on dish at home. Now I dont listen to regular FM anymore and I couldn't be happier.
I would highly recommend this product to anyone that is looking to get sirius satalite radio. The radio is small and light and can easly be put in your shirt pocket. Even with the FM direct cable it still sounds as good as it would if I was using an AUX."

"i will be going on a very long roadtrip to atlanta in a few days, and have put off buying Sirius for my car for a year now. i definitely glad i did though. its the greatest thing to have. all the best songs played and whatever genre you could want. howard stern only adds to the fun.
12.95/month plus a one time activation of $15. and it was only like $115 for the radio... very cheap in my honest opinion. i have the radio directly connected to the aux port in my radio, so it sounds great.
the only problem is when i bought it, the cig adapter was broken, and i had to rig it to work in fear of having to package everything back up just to bring it back to get a new one. which definitely wouldnt have been worth my time. its working great now, and i listened to it for 23 hours out of today.
the best part of the purchase is that as a subscriber, you can listen online anytime you want too!!!
OVERALL: I Definitely LOVE Sirius.... dont get XM, well, until they have fully converged."

"This is my second Sirius radio. I would recommend it for the many features:
*The thing is tiny and will fit in a shirt pocket.
*The car and home docking kits (home kit optional) make it very easy to move around.
*Artist/Song Memo is great! I now know when my favorite bands are playing - even on stations that I don't usually listen to.
*The display is bright and easy to read in even with direct sunlight.
*This radio lets you browse stations by subject and toggle between displaying the station name, band, or song title while doing so.
However, I am disappointed in the FM modulator. It isn't as strong as the Xact Visor I bought two years ago, but I use a direct aux connection which makes a big difference."

"I bought this Starmate for my wife for Christmas and it has been a nice addition -- particularly on long drives around Texas. But even around town, we use it about 40% of the time (the kids seem to prefer the stations they know and get on their radios in the house).
My only complaint is that the thing doesn't get reception in open air -- but covered -- places. Like parking lots, gas stations (the canopy blocks the satellite), and the garage.
All-in-all -- these things are pretty good."
