"I've been extremely happy with my e260. This device is easy to use, heavy duty, reliable, and extremely well featured for it's price and size. I would highly recommend this device or it's bigger brothers, the e270 and e280. These devices are solid state so there is no risk of damaging a hard drive, plus the best feature of all, you can replace the battery yourself if needed, something the iPods can't touch."

"I purchased the 4 gig sansa last january and compared to the ipod for about the same price, this was a better deal. With this sansa I got 4 gigs of space along with the capabilty of uploading my own music onto it, listening to the radio, voice recording, viewing pictures, and watching short videos.
Overall, this product was very good and I'd recommend it to anyone."

"This mp3 product is well made. With music, pics, and video options theres no going wrong with it. When bought, it already has all of the top hits-and oldies- of today loaded on too it which could save u money/time of downloading several times. However, when first bought the system is stunned for a hour or too so i recomend that u run the battery down before your first charge. I had a couple problems with it, but nothing that couldn't be fixed. For example, it froze on me the other day. All i had to do was take the battery out for a minute and restore it-simple as that. This product is a good choice for your entertainment. In my opinion, 4gb's is more then enough, so don't waste your money on the more high tech ones. This is a great product!"

"This series of MP3 players (e250-280) provides good bang for the buck - for playing songs. However, if you want to play movies, the converter splits the movie file (.wmv) into separate quicktime files, quadrupling the size of the original file - which takes up LOTS of space. Also, I'm not fond of the hard, blue control wheel - it feels cheap and it's not easily controlled. Otherwise, this player works great for listening to songs."

"I purchased this MP3 after having too many problems with another brand's MP3 player. I have been thrilled with this one! It's still small, but it is SOOOO easy to use. The screens are very easy to navigate and it holds quite a bit of music. The only complaint that I have is that in order to get it to hold the advertised amount of music you'll have to erase a lot of the pre-installed junk (rhapsody, unless you want to use it, and a lot of photos, etc..). If you have problems figuring out how to do this - Sansa's help desk is very useful, and will walk you through it."

"I have owned my e250 and purchase another for my son, for over a year, and it is the only way to go. It did have some isues when I first purchased them but after I read and called customer service at Sand disk They have worked perfectly. If you are someone that likes to pay $1.00 a song, and another and another, then this may not be your best choice. If you would rather pay $14.99 per month, and have as much music as you can download, with new releases the day they are released, then this is what you need. I love it, my son loves it and all his friends with i-pods are terribly sad and broken hearted."

"I purchased my player in Jan. 07 and like most users that have posted a review, after 2 months and 14 days of listening, I too got the frozen blue screen. The only thing that I did different was I didn't take it back to the store for an exchange. I called SanDisk Customer Service, what I found out was the issue was the firmware, it needed to be updated. The customer service rep that I spoke to informed me that he would email me the updated firmware and that the email could come within 3 to 24 hours, well I received the email not even 30 minutes after I hung up the phone. He also informed me that when I installed this update on the player all data that I had on it would be lost and I was fine with that as long as the player would be back to working normally. Well the update did the trick. I haven't had any problems out of it since and the best part about it is when I plug the player up to my computer it checks to make sure that the player has the latest firmware. Not only can I listen to the radio and whatever music I put on it but I can also watch videos. So if I'm ever in the mood to see my favorite video and I'm on the road all I have to do is turn on my player, select the video and watch. I am so satisfied with this product that I'm actually looking to upgrade to the 8GB."

"My daughter friend has this player and seems to really like it so I bought one for my daughters birthday. She opened it on Friday, Saturday morning when she turned it on to play no music came out, just a high pitched screeching, we turned it off and back on and it worked. Sunday afternoon the player fros on a blue screen and we could not turn it off. Took it back to the store and got another one. It is Sunday morning and my daughter is trying to listen to it and the new one has froze again. We will be returning it today and will getting another brand."

"Purchased product in early Aug. Played for 10 days and when player tried to restart after disconnection from computer, player froze. Unable to turn player off. Replaced player, only this time after disconnection from computer, player wigged out giving me a blue screen and was unable to turn off.
All the features are great but, the trouble you will encounter is not worth it.
I don't recommend purchasing this player"
