"After burning my way through an aftermarket brand controller in less than a week, I wandered back to the store and bought the real deal. For great Wii play, you can't beat the quality, sensitivity and feel of the genuine Wii remote. Don't mess with the cheap stuff, get the right one first."

"this is a great product which you will probably need but if you are a ways away from the senser bar and since it is impossible to keep your hand perfectly steady it tends to shake the pointer on the screen. it goes through batteries fast but not as much if your not using the nunchuck. but it uses batteries fast because its wireless so its worth it and it doesnt use near as many batteries as my xbox 360"

What can I say.. it is a great way to stay young...
From the youngest to the not so young folks...
we have a great time ...
it helps us.. keep a good range of motion,
in our home we have some disable young, and not so young ones.. and with this remote they want to get up and play... we have seen a nice spark in them.... We are looking forward to gettin another bundle soon.
we have famliy play time.. kinda taken place of old board games..

Pros: the new ones now include a remote jacket
"just purchased 2 remotes and they now include a jacket in the package. The old ones are still out there, but need to look for the ones that are enclosed in a box and on the back in the lower right hand corner, it will say "includes Wii remote jacket. The price is the same with or without the jacket."

"As a console gamer who plays more PS3 than anything, this remote was a very difficult transition from the normal controllers that an Xbox or PS3 user would normally use. However, once I finally got it down, it becomes a natural feeling. Just point and click. The price isn't bad seeing as it is 10 bucks less than the other two. The actual motion sensing capabilities add a third dimension to the games. When I first got the Wii, I bought Tiger Woods '08 to go with it. Swinging the Wiimote like I would a club, and seeing the outcome on the screen just makes this gaming tool an ingenious design. Wii is a truly immersive world and the Wiimote is your key into it."

"This is the easiest controller I have ever used, which is why this is such a great system for the entire family. (Even people who rarely play video games.)
We have a large living room with a 55" television. We sometimes find that the controller is a little temperamental when at the other side of the room. (more than 20 feet away)
We have 2 wiimotes and 2 nunchucks. Some reviewers have indicated frustration that the nunchucks are sold seperately from the wiimotes. However, I haven't found any games yet that would use more than 2 nunchucks, although some games could use up to 4 wiimotes.
So I would buy them in pairs up to 2, and then stop buying nunchucks."
