What's great about it: The extra track song, Awake is INCREDIBLE, and Josh is just a goofball on the DVD.
What's not so great: I wouldn't really buy the DVD version of the CD unless you were totally obsessed with Josh (aka ME.)
This is such an incredible and powerful album. Josh made this one very personal and put a lot of variety into it. He opened his horizons by working with other artists to record these crazy, creative songs (Weeping, Machine, etc.). Awake is by far one of my favorite songs ever. The limited edition is worth buying just for that song.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I purchased this CD/DVD combo in hopes that it would have features worth more than the regular AWAKE album, and just for the record: the few extra dollars for this edition and was certainly worth it!
The bonus DVD includes footage fun from Josh's bus, "The Making of AWAKE", and the process of the photoshoot. There are some funny clips of Josh and his crew as well as in-studio footage. On "The Making of AWAKE" Josh gives an in-depth look on the thought process of selected songs. You don't have to be a Grobanite to appreciate this bonus DVD.
With this CD/DVD edition album, it also includes two bonus tracks "Awake" and "Verita". The song "Awake" is a beautiful song that would certainly be missed on the regular album.
What makes this Josh Groban album different from his others is the feel. There's more songs in English and this album includes other awesome artists/writers. Ladysmith Black Mambazo, Imogen Heap and Herbie Hancock to name a few! Groban has expanded and experimented with his amazing musical talents and you don't have to be an avid fan to really enjoy this album!
This was truly a wonderful buy and makes Josh Groban's listeners wanting more!
I would recommend this to a friend!
