Synopsis There's no room for error when you're wedged behind the cockpit of one of the infamous World War II fighter planes. Split seconds separate a safe landing from an explosive ending. You'll have to trust your reflexes, your wits and your squadron of Blazing Angels as you wage a high-action air battle. Whether it's the attack on Pearl Harbor, the Battle of Britain or the fight for the deserts of North Africa, your actions will have a huge impact on the outcome of the war. Fire up any of 40 authentic-looking WWII aircraft units and complete 18 deadly missions. The planes are easy to control and lots of fun to fly, so even novice players will be able to jump right into gameplay. Every pilot needs trusty wingmen, and an artificial-intelligence-controlled team will fight for you and defend you as you try to rule the sky.

Pros: everything Cons: nothing so far
"Granted, I've only had this game for three days, but I already love playing it. The control scheme is very different from any other flying game. And, even though the control scheme is awkward at first, it doesn't take long for you to get used to it. Any Wii owner should own this game based on the fact that its a great game for only $20. My only gripe is that I waited for months to get this game, because I wasn't sure how good it would be. Buy this game!"

"If you are looking for a fun game as far as WWII fighter squadron, then get this. I have mine for the PS3 and its okay. I also own Heroes of the Pacific for the PS2 and this game reminds me of it. Even though you fly for the RAF in Europe aswell, the pacific theatre is a joke and that was a dissapointment. Good graphics though and plenty of planes to choose from, hope the 2nd one is better."

Pros: Realistic flight simulator, keeps you playing. Cons: A few inappropriate words for young children.
"I bought this game after reading the reviews on the Best Buy website and love it. It has good graphics and is hard to put down. The multiplayer games are awesome. My family and I played it on Easter for hours. In the campaign mode, the characters do use a few inappropriate words, but nothing too bad."

Very fun when remote is held sideways

"This game is rediculously fun in multiplayer mode, shooting at each other. When I first popped this game into my Wii, the controls with the nunchuck were too difficult and u had to think about what you were doing. When I went to the controls menu and figured out that u can play with the Wiimote sideways, Blazing Angels became my favorite game owned."

"This is a must-have game for Wii owners, it is really a blast. You use the nunchuck controller like it is the joystick of a plane and similarly control, e.g. tilt/push forward to dive and rotate to the right to roll right. The controls are very accurate to what your plane is doing on the screen and it includes a very fun and realistic WWII battle campaign mode. In addition to the dogfighting campaigns include using bombs, missiles, and torpedos to take out ground and water targets, flying support for Allied troups on the ground, and in general is an awesome game."

"I enjoy this game. The levels and fun and exciting, even my friend who generally doesn't like this type of games liked it. The interactive controls make it so much more fun and generally easier to fly, if you get used to it. One thing, dont believe the picture of the product and product information, this game is not for Wi-Fi and has a 2 player mode."

"This game is great, the interactive controls really make it fun and exciting. It takes a little while to learn how to fly the planes but once you figure it out it is so much fun. The levels are fun and never get old, dogfighting is a blast. A must have for all Wii owners."
