What's great about it: Don't have to bend over to the floor to load washer/dryer
What's not so great: PRICE TOO HIGH!!
First off, this thing is WAY overpriced. But in order for the washer and dryer to look good and so you're not having to bend over to the ground to load them, you gotta have these things. I think it's a crime how they are a separate purchase (and so overpriced). That's how they get ya...you think you're getting a washer/dryer at a reasonable price and then you have to pay an arm and a leg if you want the totally functionality of having the pedestals. With all that being said, the pedestal is very nice. It's great for storing your detergents, etc, and they are well build and obviously match the color of the washer and dryer. But the best reason to buy the pedestal is so the washer/dryer doesn't sit on the floor. Since it is for a front-load washer/dryer, you have to bend over to load and unload if you don't have the pedestal. And it looks way cooler if you have the pedestal. So maybe it's just a "luxury add-on" to your washer and dryer, but I think it's pretty necessary.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

What's great about it: Cool color
What's not so great: Storage drawer not high enough
Raises the washer to a more comfortable level. Storage drawer too short for our detergent.

The pedestal is awesome. my wife loves it for the height it gives the washer and dryer. You don't have to bend over to do your cloths. And also goood for storage. great product.

What's great about it: perfect height
I debated whether to get the drawers or not glad i did it brings the washer and dryer up to eye level plus all the storage couldnt ask for more love them

What's great about it: Gives front loading washer a great look
What's not so great: Storage area is limited
Purchased a pair of pedestals for my new LG washer/dryer. The added height of the pedestals are great, they make the adding and removing of clothes an easy. Stoage area of pedestals is limited, I mean box detergent fits sometimes and liquid never fits especially if you by a large container(ex. shop at Costco).
I would recommend this to a friend!

They are sooo energy efficient. Doing my laundry with my new washer and dryer is not a chore anymore. The pedestals are GREAT with the storage compartments!

Washing and drying without the pedestals would not be good for your back. At first, we were not going to buy them, but we did and I am so thankful. Not only does it keep me from bending over to put clothes in/out of the washer/dryer, but it also helps create space in other areas of your laundry room and/or cabinets. The space in the drawer is wonderful.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Love it, love it love it and my new washer and dryer of course!! A bit pricy by themselves but I go the buy the washer get the pedestal for free deal!!

What's great about it: Sturdy. Not as hard to setup as one might think
What's not so great: Not factory installed.
Purchased after Washer and Dryer. With help to lift washer-heavier of the two positioning into cup wasn't too bad. Side brackets and peel and stick were easy. Good instructions and fits all LGs I was told. I you have to bend over, treat yourself or your spouse and install a set.
I would recommend this to a friend!

What's great about it: It is so much better to have your washer & dryer on a pedestal because of the height and a lot of storage space.
What's not so great: I haven't found any yet.
We bought the cherry Pedestal for our washer and dryer and I just love them. It makes it so convenient for storage since we had to leave our detergent and etc. out where people could see tem. Now they are hidden. Everyone that sees our Pedesals just love them and they also love the cherry color.
I would recommend this to a friend!

What's great about it: Perfect height, perfect amount of storage.
I had a hard time deciding whether or not to get the pedestals with my front load LG set, so I debated and finally took the advice of the salesperson. They raise my washer and dryer to the perfect height and give me tons of "out of sight" storage space. I am very pleased with my decision and many thanks go out to the salespeople at the Wetmore store in Tucson.
I would recommend this to a friend!
