What's great about it: Quiet, easy-to-use, great quality/great price
What's not so great: Water temp. selection
"This was my first washer purchase and I have been very happy with it so far. It is quieter than my old washer and is very easy-to-use. My only problem is that you have to select your water temperature based on the size of your load, but I knew that before I purchased it. I am very happy with this purchase and would recommend it to anyone who wants a basic washer for a great price."

Great Starter Washer

What's great about it: Quiet, Large Loads, Inexpensive, Attractive
"We bought this and the matching dryer as our first set. While it is not as fancy as some of the other dryers available now, the cost and functionality was perfect for us. I have no complaints about this set. It fits our needs perfectly and I was pleasantly surprised to see that my electric bill didn't go up much after using it."

What's great about it: Great price and does a good job of washing clothes
What's not so great: Can't select water temperature; agitator is noisy
"This is the best buy on a washer/dryer set that I found in this area. Drawbacks are that wash time and water temperature are tied together (Super Wash is hot, Regular is warm, Short cycle is cold). No fabric softener dispenser. Also, the agitator action is a little loud. However, when you compare prices and the cycles offered on this washer, it's still a great deal for the money. I had the installer test the spin cycle to make sure that wasn't a problem (as another reviewer experienced). Free delivery and installation. I recommend this washer overall. Got quick delivery after purchase."

"Just got this washing machine yesterday and am very pleased with this purchase! It is a nice looking machine. I ran my first load of laundry soon after it was delivered and it was pretty quiet, a lot of cycles to choose from, and it cleaned the clothes really good! I would definitely recommend this washing machine to anyone!"

What's great about it: It did wash the two loads I ran through it
What's not so great: Tub is impossible to balance
"It's possible I got a lemon. I ran a medium load half an hour after the washer was delivered. During the spin cycle, it sounded like a gorilla was inside trying to punch its way out, and the washer "walked" clear across my laundry room. (It was properly installed and 100% level --both the installation person and I checked, with different levels). I then did a small load consisting of nothing but two light cotton sheets, and exactly the same thing happened :-( So I called BB and told them to come and pick it up."

What's not so great: Water Temp Tied to Cycle Length
"For a basic washer the ony down side is that it only lets you use hot water on long cycles, only warm water on medium cycles and only cold water on short cycles. You can work around this by leaving the lid on and manually changing the cycle length but this is a little bit of a pain.
Otherwise a nice cycle"

"Purchased this washing machine when our old one was starting to bite the dust. The price is unbelievable for what you get. It has all of the features of the higher priced models. The washing machine is surprisingly quiet. One thing that is not noted, is that (you can) set the temperature of the water. It can be hot, warm or cold depending on what wash cycle you choose. They also included a free tide sample!! which was another bonus. You can't go wrong with this washing machine."

"Bought both this washer with the whirlpool dryer, had it delivered and installed same time one day after buying it from local Bestbuy. Unit works well, easy to use, relatively quiet compared to our 10 yr old whirlpool unit that died a week after our dryer also gave up. Based on past experience with whirlpool, decided to get another set again and so far have not been disappointed, though only time will tell if it does last as the old whirlpool set we just threw out. One thing though is that the sheet metal in this unit somehow feels thinner or less sturdy that the older model which lasted us a long time and which we were very happy with. Noise level is about the same as the old unit though actually seems a bit smaller than our older unit which was a heavy duty 8 cycle model. However, at this price, can't complain much (yet)."
