What's great about it: It is easy to use and takes great quality pictures.
What's not so great: You can not delete any scenes unless you spend the time to edit it on your computer.
Even though you can not delete the unwanted scenes on the camera, I really love this camcorder. It is the first one I ever purchased. It is very simple to work and the pictures are wonderful. I have taken it on many trips with me to Hawaii and it worked wonderfully. The audio is also great and filming at night is great due to the built on light. I would definitly recomend this product to my friends.

What's great about it: Seemed to be a good camera
What's not so great: Video mode instructions were a bit lacking
The camera itself seemed to be high-quality but I couldn't find out at all how to use the video format and thus it didn't work with DVD-Rs at all, had to use DVD-RWs.
After one battery charging, either the battery died or the battery charger died. Customer service said they wanted the entire unit shipped to their repair facility plus $15 and postage. Then, assuming it was the battery, it was not covered under warranty because I had purchased it more than 10 days before the battery died. Since it was brand new, instead I took it back to the store and bought a different camera.
Overall seemed good but I was able to only shoot about 30 minutes of footage with it.

What's great about it: Size; features

This is a true palmcorder, it is very small and light weight, but all buttons are very accessible for bigger fingers (like my husband's). The camcorder was so easy to set up and use, my husband actually did it (he is not very technically inclined).
It comes with battery, battery charger (AC adapter), AC cable (plug), DC cable (allows you to plug camcorder into the AC adapter to use as a power source in lieu of the battery), AV cable and a lens cap.
This camcorder allows for lens accessories (37 mm lens). I was able to find a lens filter and wide angle lens to fit; telephoto is available, but not necessary since 32x optical zoom is what this little beast offers. It accepts pretty much any mini dvd out there. You can plug this directly into A/V jacks on your TV and view your recordings immediately, however this model cannot be connected directly to a PC. It is not SD card compatible, but it will take a still shot. There is a tripod receptacle.
The camera will allow you to edit scenes. You can delete, divide, combine scenes and even create and edit playlists. Another feature is this camcorder has manual recording functions allowing for scene modes such as sports, portrait, low light, spotlight and surf & snow. You can also manually focus, if auto focusing is difficult in certain settings.
I don't think you can find much more for features out there for this price and size of camcorder. I am very pleased with this purchase!!!

What's great about it: great zoom clear picture
What's not so great: It has to be bright for you to get good footage
compared to other camcorder's this one isnt that great, I only paid $199 for mine and i'm happy with it because of that reason. It lacks alot of features that other dvd camcorders have , for example the lighting has to be perfect. when the lighting perfect this camcorder is the best. Its also dosent have a sd card slot for still pictures and no cables for computer hook up and is not computer compadible. it's very simple and plane not for a person who gagit freak. but good for I frist time camcorder.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This is a very nice "palm"corder. I've put it through its paces the past couple of days. It does use more than just the Panasonic mini-disks . . I'm using Maxell. Their website says it will also use Sony and TDK disks. You can't play the mini-disk on an outside DVD player until you "finalize" the disk while still in the camera...just like if you were using a regular DVD Recorder. Then it played on both of my DVD players just fine. It pays to take an hour or so and read the book, which was very clear. The movies are clear and bright. I'm particularly looking forward to reducing the hand shakiness on zoom with the OIS. I did not list any "cons" because if I wanted the USB cable to go to a computer, or a video light, I would have bought the higher-end model. I'm very satisfied. Can now pass down my older 8mm camcorder to one of my children!

What's great about it: fairly easy to use
What's not so great: DVD's won't play on DVD players!
After taking the time to record, I find I cannot play the mini DVD's on any of my DVD players in the house. Customer service was not able to help me. They could not understand why the DVD's would not play.

What's great about it: Sleek, Easy to use, Quality Picture
What's not so great: No Remote or USB port
I am very pleased with this machine. It was ready to use pretty much out of the box; intuitive controls, and a nice design. Upgrading from my old camcorder(which used full-size VHS cassettes) to this tiny, DVD model was a joy. I have been using it since the moment I got it. I have always trusted Panasonic, and shall continue to do so. They've never let me down.
I would recommend this to a friend!

What's great about it: Good clearity
What's not so great: No memory card
Very pleased with the full function of this inexpensive product. If it cam with the cable to view on computer it would be a great value. The 210 model has everything except this. It has been a good product for me. It is a good product for a beginner.

This camcorder is easy to use and user friendly. Be sure to purchase Panasonic mini DVD's because the other brands do not work. We are extremely happy with this product and definaltely recommend it to others-you will not be disapointed!!!

I have never used a camcorder before & found this product to be easy to get started with. The image stabilizer works well - the picture is smooth. Color looks good. Zoom works smoothly. Find it easier to use controls while recording with the monitor over the viewfinder. The battery has yet to run down - I was somewhat worried about this because my digital camera battery doesn't seem to last very long - but no such problems with this camcorder so far. I do wish the lens cap was built in but I guess you can't have everything.
I would recommend this to a friend!
