What's great about it: Very fun and addicting, even better in multiplayer
What's not so great: can be difficult to adjust to
"This game is defiantely a msut have if you enjoy the Mario Party series. It is very fun, addictive and very innovative in the way it utilizes the wii controller. It can be a little difficult at first to adjust to, however once you pick up on it, you will agree it is the best so far in this long franchise!"

"This game is very fun. The whole family can join in and have a blast. I recommend that if you are reading this review that you buy this game . It has a new level of interactivity that no system before this could have possibly imagined. Very fun game and I think that you should buy this game. You and your familiy will spend hours playing this game it is so fun."

What's great about it: Awesome Refreshment to Old School Game
What's not so great: Not So Fun By Yourself
"I have been playing Mario Party since the original on Nintendo 64...and I have always loved it! I really recommend this game, especially if you have kids or college students with roommates! It is lots of fun, and there are many different modes in which to play. The game is set up like a classic board game with little arcade-type games along the way. Once you play through the "mini-games," you can go to an arcade-type mode where you can just play the minigames. It's lots of fun!"

What's great about it: great minigames
What's not so great: not enough single player option
"I have this game and done all modes. the superstar is fun especially the tycoon town and booty boardwalk.
you definitely have to play superstar in order to unlock alot of minigames for multi-player. For winning superstar, you'll receive carnival cards.
So great game and good fun."

What's great about it: Tycoon Town game is great
What's not so great: The other full length games are less entertaining
"The tycoon town - monopoly style game that is part of this game is fantastic. The mini-games are all great too. Other than that this game is average in my opinion. Although, I think younger children might really like some of the simpler games."

"Mario Party games have always been really fun, and this one is no exception. It transitions onto the Wii perfectly. It's almost like this is the format that it was intended for all along. The game is a lot of fun to play with kids and adults alike, or by yourself (though it's not nearly as satisfying alone, I mean, it is a party after all.) I highly recommend this title for anyone with a Wii."

"This game is so much fun! When my friends are over, we play for hours and don't even realize how much time has passed. Some people complain about the controls/remote being touchy, but that is how it is with every Wii game that I have played. This kind of system is so new and there are no others like this; I think they need to work on some minor kinks with the controls in general."

Great interactive board game

What's great about it: Family fun, great for all ages, good use of Wii remote

"Ok, so this review is for people who don't know what Mario Party games are about.
This is an interactive board game. You roll dice, (with the remote), and move your character along... with different spaces having different results. There are "mini-games" on various spaces, and by landing on them, you will be auto-assigned a mini-game to play. All the mini-games make you do different things with the Wii remote, such as shake a can of soda, balance on a tight-rope, and laso barrels.
This is a great game for families and group parties. My wife loves it, and she is not into video games at all. It is not a great single person game, (although you can do it), just like playing a board game by yourself is not much fun.
There is a lack of boards to select from, though. Consequently, the game will start to become repetitive. Overall a good buy."

"Don't get me wrong, this game is fun with four players. However, the single player mode and playing with 2 players is not very fun. The mini games get very repititous after a few games and it gets very boring."

"I used to play Mario Party on N64 and its still as great as the first day I played it. The Wii game makes it 10 times better getting you involved in the mini-games and keeping your attention for the duration of your playing time. A graet buy for all ages, especially those people who grew up on the old school Mario Party!"
