This is a part of my childhood I had to get back. I now read the comic associated with the show. They keep the sat am characters throughout the run of the comic, they will break the all time record issues of 276 held by Conan.

I would recommend this to a friend!

What's great about it: Interview of Wirter and Actor

What's not so great: The series was too short

When I saw that this series was out on DVD my eyes bugged. There are still a lot of my childhood shows that are not out or are being put out SLOWLY to DVD but I knew I had to make this part of my collection. I love the fan artwork that is on the cover of the cases and the DVDs. I think Robotnic was the best villain of any cartoon series out there. His voice, his eyes, and his robtisizer...gotta love that villain. Sonic was an awesome character too and I had forgotten some of the other supporting cast like Antoin. He is more annoying now than when I was a kid lol. But the show was great and even though it was cut short I like how it left with a cliff hanger. You can imagine what happens next but I think Robotnic could not be topped. If you were a fan of htis show as a kid, buy this DVD. You won't regret it.

I can remember getting up early Saturday mornings back in 1993, and turning on ABC just to watch this. You won't believe my surprise when I found out they were releasing the entire series on a DVD box set. As soon as I found out I preordered it right away. And I wasn't disapointed. Shout! Factory took the time to actualy construct the the boxwork, and the case work of collected Sonic the Hedgehog SatAm fan art. All the episodes are there, and theres even some pretty good special features like an interview with Jaleel White (the Voice of Sonic the Hedgehog) and with series head writer Ben Hurst. Ben Hurst gives a great interview where he talks about the third season that was never done, due to the show being canceled. If your a fan of Sonic the Hedgehog, or just want to remember a part of your childhood, I'd strognly recomend you buy this.
