Too bad crime doesn't take a vacation. When the heroes catch wind that a young girl has been kidnapped, it's time for them to go back to work. Then they discover something far worse than they could have imagined: a forgotten race of genius inventors with a plot that is more dangerous than anything Ratchet and Clank have ever encountered before. Take the controls and step into the shoes of Ratchet and Clank as they set out to solve this puzzling mystery. Return to the franchise's roots and play as Clank in classic gameplay. With new and returning weapons and gadgets, including the Shocker, Agents of Doom and the Shrink Ray, you'll have the time of your life wreaking havoc in this virtual world. Try on new customizable suits of armor and work hard to gain important upgrades. Compete in fast-paced races and combat enemies while driving intense vehicles. When you think your skills are up to par, invite your friends to participate in sick multiplayer mayhem.

What's great about it: Cool Guns, Upgrades, Spendable Money
What's not so great: To Short
This game is alright, it has it's ups and downs. Personally I've always loved having spendable money and being able to upgrade guns and buy new ones. It has some built in mini-games (through-out the campaign). It's a good sequel to the others, but the length can be a let down.
I got this as one of my first PSP games when I first got my PSP, it wasn't the best experience. It gets boring easily, but I gave it 4 stars because I've always loved Ratchet & Clank's style for buying guns and upgrading them.
If your looking for a good adventure game, with shops to buy new guns and gun upgrades, then this is your type of game!
I would recommend this to a friend!

this game is so boring but not for first time. also don't get if you are 1 of those people who beat a game and they think it is boring after you beat it once. so guys do not ever ever ever ever get this game. IT SUCKS! still if you beat it once you will never ever want to play it again. and again i say IT SUCKS SO MUCH!

the game is fun and it has some cool weapons but the game is to short is finished the game in one day and then i got tired of the game and i don't play is no more.

What's great about it: easy to learn, weapons in game are cool
What's not so great: can get boring at sometimes
This game is fun for people of all ages.
Pros: Easy to learn how to play, Weapons in the game are cool and fun to use
Cons: Can get very boring if you play it for a while
During the gameplay, you come across armor to put on Ratchet. You can customize this armor and make armor sets.
This is a great game to play when your bored. Don't play it all the time unless you really love the game.
I would recommend this to a friend!

What's great about it: THE ADVENTURES
POWER PACKED WITH EXCITEMENT. I CAN'T BELEIVE THEY WERE ABLE TO PACK SO MUCH IN SUCH A SMALL COMPONENT. MAN THIS GAME IS AWESOME AND I HOPE YOU TAKE THE OPPORTUNITY TO EXPERIENCE THIS GAME FULLY.

What's great about it: very inexpensive, excellent syndicated version of PS2 series
What's not so great: somewhat difficult controls
This PSP game is a decent game as far as PSP games go. It is an excellent prise for a PSP game, and the graphics are phenomenal. However, the average player may find difficulty in the control scheme, and the classic Ratchet gamer may also find the adjustments difficult to make. Camera shifting is fairly difficult as well, so viewpoints are marginally limited as opposed to the PlayStation versions.
If you're a hard-nosed R&C fan who enjoyed the first four for the home game systems, I would recommend purchasing the PS2 version, mostly because the controls are better suited to previous games and it is only a tad more expensive. If you're just looking for some good fun on the run, and you are able to adapt to controls fairly easily, this is definitely a good buy as far as PSP games go.
I would recommend this to a friend!

What's great about it: Everything that makes up the series
What's not so great: The PSP controls
While this is still a very solid entry in the series, it's the lowest one in my opinion only because the PSP's control scheme is a little hard to do the job. That said, the developers still did a wonderful job and this game is not to be missed. If you only have a PS2, spend the extra $15 to get this game. The controls are probably better anyway.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great game for the PSP. If you are a Ratchet and Clank fan this is the game for the PSP. Story is shorter and weapon's invetory is smaller. Do not expected as much as the PS2 or PS3 counterparts to this series.

What's great about it: everything
What's not so great: online because people can kick u out or they stay in the same places all the time
its fun it has about 15 weapons most expensive weapon is ryno and cool gadgets u have to find armor and you could combine them u have to upgrade every weapon except the gadgets at least 5 or 6 times but u have to buy the weapon again but the weapon costs more then when u first bought it and the weapon is more powerful. bosses r pretty easy except the last one if u have the ryno u would kill him in less than 30 seconds oh and the game has ten worlds

the best in the world i think that costumer reports dont mean anything to but believe me i am not joking its to best. If you like the old ratchet and clank games for ps2 than this is the best thing that has ever happened to you!!! Its the same as the old one's!! Theres still the gadgettron you can still customize your plain get new armor do the whole battle arena thing and also..... THE R.Y.N.O... and the bestest of all best things in the hole world........ ITS HAND HELD AND PORTABLE!! GET IT OR BE BORD FOR THE REST OF YOUR LIFE!!!!

My favorite game for the PSP. I never get bored with it and could play it for hours if my parents let me. A definite must have for any PSP owner!

Ratchet & Clank games are great!
I recently started playing them and I wish I found out about these games a long time ago.
I always thought they were kid games, well they are but that's ok. I compare these games to watching a Shrek movie. They at first appear to be for kids but have some adult humor hidden!
I will say it is a short game but you can't compare it to the PS2 or PS3. The console games are HUGE and the UMD just does not allow for that much space.
Like I said, this game has incredible fun factor and should be a favorite for anyone.
