Great purchase! 07/23/2008

What's great about it: easy to use
What's not so great: Splicing into existing wires

"I was hesitant to purchase this item after reading some ghastly reviews. I'm glad I ignored the other reviews.
My current set up includes an Alpine IDA-X200 head unit and Ipod video.
Installation could be more streamlined for the "non-techy" person. It requires you to splice into existing power, ground, and ignition lines. However, if you installed your own system or have in the past this will be a non-issue.
Set up was extremely easy. Follow the instructions for your head unit and then follow the instructions for the adapter. It worked the first time after I paired my Verizon Motorola phone to it.
Sound quality is great. Remember that Microphone placement is key to getting a good sound.
After speaking with several of my associates, they all stated they could not hear themselves feedback through my microphone.
Overall I rate this product a 5 star and HAVE recommended it to my co-workers."
