What's great about it: PnP: That's just what I am used to.
What's not so great: My big hands had a little difficulty gripping them. Thier shorter than my other chip sets.
"I bought a pair of these last night.PnP-no problem- I'm part of the Nintendo generation and I had little to no difficulty installing them. I am a guy and my hands are big, so it probably took a little longer than it should have but in the long run I did not get frustrated, went back in after a short break and my computer runs extra fast now with 4GB of RAM. Also, the reason I rated the price at four and not five is because everyhting could be a little cheaper. Overall, my computer can take anything I throw at it, flawlessly."

What's great about it: very good product. very stable no problems after several months of use. i overclocked these and was able to get them to
What's not so great: very small in size. fans would be more effective if they had more surface area. this is probably a plus for most though.

What's great about it: Good price when on sale, simple installation like any RAM
What's not so great: Non-sale price is insane, seems to have high amount of bad sets
"When you get this RAM on sale and it works, it's a good deal and pretty responsive. Unfortunately I seem to have gotten a high amount of faulty sticks. 2/3's of the ones I've bought so far have not worked properly and had to be replaced.
Just be aware of this and be ready to return it if your computer either doesn't work or runs far slower than usual with these sticks in."

What's great about it: Easy to install, high performance.
What's not so great: A little expensive.
"Kingston memory is more expensive than other brands of memory but they stand behind their product and the quality of the memory is outstanding. I installed 2 GIG PC5300 DIMM's into my Dell E510 increasing my memory to a total of 3 GIGS.
The PC now boots up Windows XP and performs programs considerably faster. Increasing memory by adding RAM to a PC is one of the simplest and effective ways to improve your PC's performance.
I highly recommend Kingston memory. I have also had good experience with PNY memory but Best Buy didn't offer PNY in-store."

What's great about it: Does what it promises
What's not so great: Can be a little tricky to install
"I bought my Dell 3 years ago with 1 GB of memory. It worked like a charm, but 3 years later I found that some of my programs use a great deal of resources. I did not need a new computer, but I did need to upgrade. I bought 2 of these memory sticks and they work like a charm! Norton Antivirus still sucks up a lot of memory, but it does not matter anymore.... My computer is faster and much more responsive. The biggest pay off has been with games. Hellgate London is now a joy to play and loads much faster! I had been thinking of upgrading my graphics card, which I may still do (in anticipation of Diablo III), but for now the extra memory turns out to be something I should have done a year ago. Installing was fairly easy, my PC is a little cramped in there though (not Kingston's fault) and they snapped in a bit more difficult that I anticipated. BUT well worth the investment :-) Going from 1 to 3 GB of RAM is like getting a new machine."

"this product is great. i bought two 1gig chips for my emachine desktop. installing both took less than ten minutes. my computer runs so much faster. i can open multiple browsers and listen to online radio which i couldn't before. anyone who wants more speed from there computer should buy this product. personally i don't think my computer could run any faster than it does now."

What's great about it: Add more memory to your P/C fast and easy..
What's not so great: There's a lot of memory boards on the market but, I've found that Kingston Technology to be the easiest to install.
"I wanted to add more memory to my computer. It was easy to install in about an half hour..I love the way my computer works, "it so fast". It's like having a whole new computer. I would recommend this product 100% to anyone."

"Good to see that Kingston is still providing good, reliable memory. We've been using kingston memory for the past 9 years and have never had any problems with it. Installs easily and really gives the pc an extra boost to run tasks faster and play games better. Sometimes it's the cheapest price but never the cheapest brand."

"It is hard to beat this 1GB of RAM for a nice sale price. I purchased two and upgraded my HP s7700n (Slimline) from 1GB of RAM to 2GB of RAM. My performance went up by over 50%! Vista uses a LOT of RAM, so I strongly recommend a minimum of 2GB, especially if you are running one of the versions with the Aero interface and/or any MS Office version. Kingston has been around a long time and produces very reliable products!"

"I purchased the Kingston 1GB DDR2 DIMM Memory this week and had it installed at best buy buy the geek squad. I am very pleased with what this product has been able to do for my laptop's prior sluggish performance. I have a Dell Inspiron 6000 notebook which is almost 3 years old. My notebook had 516mhz of ram and after the upgrade has 1.2GB. I immediately noticed that my computer loaded much quicker than it had in the past. It almost felt like my computer was new again. I am planning on going back to best buy and upgrading my laptop with another 1GB DDR2 DIMM Memory chip from Kingston. The best part is that this product is on sale for a great price and the geek squad technicians were able to install it within 10 minutes at the store. I highly recommend this product for consumers whose laptops seem sluggish and want more zip when multitasking!"

"Bought the memory to upgrade my computer for Vista. Installation worked like a charm. Good product, good price. So far no problems. Kingston seems to be pretty reliable. If you upgrade, make sure to buy two. A lot of computers seem to require that you have two identical memory chips if you use both banks. Buying two saves you the hazzle of finding identical memory if you decide to throw in an additional gig.
I used the memory to upgrade a Dell XPS 400."
