What's great about it: It seems to keep my food Cold
What's not so great: Fan is Nosy and Small
"I got this because i have 3 Roommates. when i got it i thought it will not keep stuff that Cold because it was Cheep but after a Couple of hour i graped a Dew. and to my Surprise it was too Cold. i lowed the Temp. and it works fine i did not realize how small it was but That is my fault because they had a display."

"Bought this for the basement bar. It works but the fan is loud. I ended up putting it in the garrage. I will look for a quit one and make sure I get them to turn it on so I can hear it run."

"I decided to go ahead and try out this “refrigerated cooler” since Best Buy has a 30 day money back guarantee. To find out well it really does, I took some temperature readings (with a thermometer bought at a local science supply shop). The ambient temperature in my cubicle at work is 78 degrees. The temperature of the soda going into the cooler was 72 degrees. After 24 hours, the temperature of the soda was 48 degrees (and remained so even after 2 or 3 days). I was surprised to discover that I found this to be quite cold enough for my tastes and I do like my drinks to be cold. For comparison, I also measured the temperature of a soda from the vending machine downstairs and it was 40 degrees, while a soda from my home refrigerator was 42 degrees. I plan to keep the cooler."

What's great about it: No worthless freezer compartment
What's not so great: Small
"People complain it did not keep things cold enough. We have never once had a problem with that. It works great and has a great price. The best feature is the lack of a freezer compartment. The freezers on these mini friges are worthless. All they do is build up large amounts of frost very fast and freeze anything you put on the top shelf. This is perfect for the office."

"I'm a non-traditional college student which means I've "been there, done that and I'm back again." I share an apt with 3 strangers and noticed some of my food disappearing from the fridge. I'm on a limited income just like them, so I bought this fridge for my room. I don't care whether it's called a cooler or a fridge but it keeps my food away from thiefs and nothing has spoiled. While I wish it were a bit taller, it fits perfectly in my closet with plenty of ventilation space. And, for the price, you can't beat it!"

"Im proud of this purchase. Yes i know it is a cooler ands not an "Actual Refigerator" however, it seems to keep my pops cold. I stuck it next to my comp desk and took already cold pop from the garage and put it in there. I figure ive seen some bad things about it not being cold if u put it in there from lets say straight from the grocery store shelf. I buy in bulk so i got cases of pop just sitting outside in the fridge in the garage. Just wanted some xtra lazyness no effort drink when im working on the comp. Havent had any problems yet however my door seems to be cracked. If it starts to ruin the fridge then ill return it for a new one and get a non cracked one. Anybody just wishing to keep pop cold for an office or bedroom I would recommend it."

What's great about it: Lilght, small, cost, power consumption
What's not so great: not a refridgarator
"The product does what it says. From ambient temp it should cool about average 30*. If you put this product in an office, it seems great. Your temps in those room are fairly comfortable and your food and drinks should be cooled. Remember that this is a Refridgerated cooler and not a fridge. Sodas, food, fruit, chips, milk stay cool in an office environment. If you have this in your garage, probably wont cool as much.
I did notice that my Dole jellos are not as solid as they should be. The top layer is a little watery. But they still taste great.
Once again, for an office where the temp stays around 70*, it works great."

"This is not a refrigerator, nor is it a product that keeps ANYTHING cool. After 24 hours, this piece of junk STILL hasn't cooled beyond room temperature. The other reviews say the same thing...for good reason. This has BY FAR been the worst product I have ever purchased from Best Buy."

"Caveat emptor! This product claims to be a refrigerator, but is not. My brother and I went to purchase a mini refrigerator to replace a broken one, and picked this up. The box said 'Q Fridge' and on the side boasted, "Refrigerators: Not just for kitchens!" So naturally, we thought this was a mini refrigerator.
We were wrong! We took this home and set it up, and only after reading through the manual saw that it was actually a "refrigerated cooler unit," and advised not to use it to cool items that needed to be kept below 40 degrees F. such as dairy and meat. We purchased this item to be a refrigerator, not to be a cooler.
The packaging of this product is misleading. The wording says 'refrigerator,' and even the photo on the front shows a quart of milk in the 'refrigerator'! We are very upset with this product and will never buy from Haier again."

"I bought one unit on the end of May, now it suddenly dosen't work, no noise and light. I called customer service center, they mentioned the power supply was bad, they asked me to dispose it and they will send me a new unit, I still need to face this not cool enough device."

"I bought this because of price and size. I plugged it in, put a couple of drinks in it, and let it run for about 24 hours. The drinks were cool, but not cold.
I did some research and most thermoelectric refrigerators only claim to cool the inside 30 degrees less than room temp. So if the room is 75 degrees, the drinks inside will only be about 45 degrees - at best. A 45 degree soda might work for you, but I prefer it colder."

"We bought this fridge while living with other people, so that we could have our own fridge and keep it in a closet. It works great, does not get too hot, it is safe to leave on the floor. A big pro is that it has a fan to keep it cool, most small models do not. We would recommend this to a college student or as a small 2nd fridge."

"I am very happy with this mini-fridge. I have it in my office at work. It is very lightweight and easy to carry or move to another location. Upon first use, it cooled up very quickly. It might be small but it holds a lot of stuff. I like the adjustable shelves. It is easy to clean."

"I was pleasantly surprised by this fridge. I had read some of the other reviews and wasn't sure what to expect, but the price was right for what I could afford so I figured I'd try it (Best Buy has a good return policy anyway). I plugged it in and threw in a Coke to test it out. Not too much later, I drank a very nice, refreshing coke. I thought it worked great - a good bang for the buck. You can hear the fan running, but it's not overly distracting. You can't expect perfection at a price like that, but the fridge is still doing its job for me."

"I bought this for my mother but the fan inside just quit after a week. Then that caused it to not get cold at all. It was not really cold before that. The price was great but when I took it back I was told that everyone was bringing them back so I upgraded to another brand. This has something called a thermal cooler than than the standard compressor on a real refrigerator. I do not recommend a thermal cooler or this product."

"I purchased this for my office and after three days of being plugged in my product was still about room temperature. The compact design is a great option but if it doesn't cool the product then it isn't worth the box it came in. I would not recommend buying it. I returned mine as well."
