What's great about it: The new jacket outfits are so cute. their are new furniture and hairstyles. Even new clothes. Its Awesome!!
What's not so great: Nothing. It doesn't slow down my computer. But thats just my computer.
I got the expansion pack for Christmas and I cant stop playing it. Its awesome! You get snow outfits. New clothes, Hairstyles and furniture. I love it when it rains. It just adds so much to the game. Ilike the twisty slides for the pools, and I like the roller and ice rinks.
I would recommend this to a friend!

What's great about it: new clothes, you get to have outerwear, cool seasons, new location, new activites, and a lot of new items
What's not so great: nothing
So the Sims 2 Seasons has a lost of awesome new stuff. You can check the forcast on the TV or newspaper! It's like so totally sweet. They have new hairstyles and you get to have outerwear! I mean who wouldn't love this game? In the winter, you can make snowmen or make snowangels. But you have to be careful because if you don't wear warm clothes or your outerwear outside, you could catch a cold. It rains, snows, and even hails! This is one of my FAVORITE expansion packs out of all of them. If I could rate the fun higher, I would have rated it TEN STARS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

What's great about it: Fun at first, not hard to set up
What's not so great: sometimes a specific season gets stuck
Okay, I got this for Christmas (yeah, a long time ago) and I LOVEEEE IT!
Playing in the snow, fishing, raking the leaves, sometimes setting them on fire and having summer heated barbecues are just some of the amazing things you can do.
The graphics are the most realistic ever!
You can have rain, sleet, hail, snow and sometimes (only happened once in 6 months) a sun shower. :)
Negatively, I don't know how but when I moved out a given family and moved mine in (they had a nice house) the weather, not season got stuck. And it was snow. I would look at the meter saying the season and it would move but the snow stayed on the ground.
ALSO, after a while it gets a little boring but thats what all the other amazing expansion packs are for! =]
I also recommend using

What's great about it: Great Gameplay, great graphics
What's not so great: Nothin bad about this game
This is one of the best games ever made. Addicting and non stop gameplay. Lots of things to do at home. This game is even better with the Nightlife Expansion Pack. Also building tools are better, and you are able to build your own community lots and homes. I recommend this game to anyone who likes The Sims 2 and who likes to build stuff. :-)

I loved this EP! It was great, with the sound effects, the scenery, the beautiful graphics in it!
You have so many options in this game. Being realistic, some of the things that happen in this game will make you laugh, but they will always entertain you!
It is a never ending game that has so many options in it to explore! I loved making snowmen, snow angels as well as seeing the lightening hit the trees!
You have the option, now, of planting your own food, as well as harvesting and eating it!

There is so much you can do with this, the action never stops, the ideas put into this game are so numerous it's hard to explain in just one post! You gotta try this game! You'll be hooked like the rest of us!

What's great about it: Great game
What's not so great: none
Great and game my friends and me play it all the time if i could i would play this game over and over and over again till i get sick of it!!!!!I would recommend this to any body with kids you kids will love it and play it alot if they can!!!i gave it 4stars on each beacause it is kinda hard to get the hang of in the begining but after that it is a easy and really fun and great game!!! :)

What's great about it: Variety of life-like scenarios. Along with pretty good graphics.
What's not so great: Does not work well with weak processors and lags with some older computers.
I like how you can create a family and build it up from scratch. Your family basically starts at nothing and brings it up to the top. I like how in this expansion pack you have the ability of the changing weather patterns and the greenhouses. You also have the opportunity for talent badges. Overall this game is a lot of fun to play continuously and it will almost always supprise you.
I would recommend this to a friend!

What's great about it: adds more the basic game
What's not so great: yet another add-on to the game
My wife loves these games, the only con is to my wallet as when there is another expansion I go and get it for her. She loves all the expansions though and I can't fault her on game playing.

What's great about it: if fun and helpful to for extra actives
What's not so great: you need sims 2 just to play this game
I think this game help you spend more time with your sims family it help relationships you get to do stuff you would do in real life like plant and harvest foods, you can celebrate chrismas and other holidays and you have different weather

What's great about it: fall, summer, spring, winter
No world is right without seasons, yeah, it would be nice for no frost bite or sunburn, but rain is nice and so is sun. Thats where this game comes in, it has all of the seasons. Its like the accual human world, but more digital and fake!

What's great about it: Gives your sims weather!
What's not so great: Possibly slows down your game
This is one of the best expansion packs that the game offers. Not only does the weather add a whole new aspect to your game, but the sims can also garden and grow their own food, in addition to being able to catch and cook fish. This expansion pack is definitely worth buying.

What's great about it: changing of the seasons and activities
This expansion is one of the best. I like the changing of the seasons and the weather forecasts that you can get on the local simtv weather station. The activities for each season are cool too. Snowball fights, snow angels, snowman making etc. I like the random flashes of lightning during thunderstorms, will it hit a tree and catch it on fire? will it hit the house or the lightning rod? No Sims 2 collection is complete without Seasons.
I would recommend this to a friend!

What's great about it: Climate - Clothes - Weather
What's not so great: ALOT of yardwork
This pack isn't for the sim who hates chores. The seasons are fantastic and shift on a rotational schedule with random weather. It rains, hails, snows, and shines sun on and off with this game. However, with fall comes the dying plants, the leaves that fall, and the harvesting season for those who like to grow things. Your sims can get sick in this game. Depending on their body temperature, their wellness can change due to what they wear in each season. If you go out in the snow in shorts, your sim will most likely have the sniffles the next day. Just the idea of weather and seasonal shifts makes the sims a fully rounded virtual world. If you are going to get an expansion pack, get this one first.

This game is cool it's my favorite video game to play. I like the way that they made the weather it makes it look ,and sound so real. I love how when it snows and you can ,make snow man and snow angels.

For anybody that like the Sims 2 and weather and to go fishing this is a game for you I am so very in love with this game I would marry it if I could

What's great about it: Cool Seasons
What's not so great: The Seasons and Temp. Gauges in the Sims Interaction Pane
I Love the sims 2 series, and this game is great. The only thing i don't like is that the interaction pane has become crowded. this is really my only complaint in the expansion pack.

What's great about it: New activities like fishing and farming. Weather effects make for great new graphical lighting.
What's not so great: Missing some things Sims 2 has been sorely lacking (a better camera, roofs, toddler interactions, etc.)
I frequent many of the various Sims 2 fansites out there and the opinion seems to be pretty unanimous- Seasons is the best expansion, with Nightlife following closely behind.
First I'll start with the big things that Seasons adds- weather effects. New seasons bring new activities- yours Sims can catch butterflies during spring evenings, play in or rake leaves in the fall, make snowmen and have snowball fights in the winter, even freeze in the winter or get sunburn in the summer if you're not careful. You'll see realistic lighting and sound effects that really make the graphics more attractive. Snow or rain (or hail!) are random, and your sims have a new category of clothing- outerwear that should be worn during their time outside lest they get sick.
Sims have some detailed new activities they can undertake- namely, fishing and gardening. They have gift giving and new little games they can play with each other to substantially increase friendship levels. Any food they make can be saved in the fridge as leftovers. This might not sound like much, but it goes further in making the gameplay more streamlined.
Each new expansion brought a new type of sim that could be encountered within the game. The first game brought aliens, Nightlife brought vampires, Open For Business brought servos (robots, really.) Seasons brings plant people. IMO, they look just a little too similar to aliens (both are green..) but they have some interesting new characteristics that make them worth playing.
All in all, Seasons has a lot to offer. I recommend it.

Sims 2: Seasons is my favorite sims 2 game out of all of them. I love it, it so awesome. You'll never get bored of this game. There are so many new things you can get and do. Like clothes, a round shaped pool, water slide, snowball fight, waterballon fight and much more. The best has come, if you were going get some other sims 2 game don't because this one is the BEST!!!!

What's great about it: Completely new scenarios, lots of objects
What's not so great: Lots of space on computer (could slow down)
The original Sims only touched on the idea of weather, but now you have full fledged control over sunshine and snow. As always, Maxis made sure to include lots of easter eggs to find. This expansion pack keeps it's novelty for a long time, it directly effects all other packs, and you can explore countless combinations.
I would recommend this to a friend!

What's great about it: Weather, gardening, plantsims
What's not so great: sims get to hot or to cold eaisly
This game is awesome! I love the new weather feature. There are 4 seasons- spring &summer= thunderstorms and hail, autum- rain/snow, winter-snow. Also with the new gardening feature you can have certain veggies and plants grow better in a certain season. And now you can fish and use the fish you catch anlong with the veggies to eat. Another great feature to this game is having the ability to have leftovers. In this game you get all sorts of new clothes and objects. I would defenitly get this game.
