Cons: very difficult to remove
"I purchased the Nerf Armor for my child’s DS. In the beginning it was a good choice. The Nerf Armor started to fall apart after 2 months so I decide to remove it from the DS. The armor does not come off easily and during the process it snapped the DS in two. Now I have a broken DS and a child whom is very upset and sad. I don't have money to replace my son's DS. I strongly recommend against buying this product"

Pros: protects DS.... its NOT coming off.... Cons: its NOT coming off.. make sure you REALLY want it on your DS...
"I purchased one of these for my daughter's DS. Just to be "cool" I put it on mine first to see what it would look like... I couldn't get it off!!! It then took around 20 minutes for my boyfriend and I to get it off, and it was a very difficult task... So just make sure you REALLY want it on your DS before you put it on...
It does make holding the DS much more comfortable and if you get the Nerf Stylus too, it is much more comfortable to hold then the iddy biddy stylus that comes with the DS...
I recommend this product for everyone, it really does protect well and is very comfortable!!!"

Fatter but no scratches DS

"I really like the variety of these cases. They are very colorful, but also very chunky. The DS becomes a lot fatter with this case, and becomes harder to transport in small spots like a coat pocket, but having this on it is such a relief when you drop it. They are very helpful."

Pros: Durable case Cons: Weak hinge that breaks easy making it unusable
"Bought it for my 6 year old. The case is durable but the hinge is very weak. It broke once and I was able to Superglue it back together only to have it break again two days later. We had to throw the whole thing away because it was no longer usable even though 99% of the protective case was in perfect condition! I would not recommend for longevity"

Pros: Totally protects your DS Lite from dropping. Cons: none
"Before Christmas a friend showed this to me and said to get it with the DS Lite because it has saved her son's hand-held game from many falls. It protects the game and if you drop it, the nerf cover even makes it bounce back!!!! I highly recommend this product when purchasing the DS Lite."

Pros: Protectors great - Very comfortable Cons: Pencil does not store in case - No storage for games
"My 8 yr old son bought this himself with his birthday money to protect his DS and have one that is different from all the other boys (he lives with 4 other boys all with DSs). It is great! His DS has been dropped a few times and received NO damage. The size of the case along with it's texture has made the DS feel better in your hand. I would definetely suggest this."

Love the Nerf Armor

"I wanted a cover that my kids could leave the DS in while playing so that their game systems didn't get scratched or the cover lost.
This works great. Each kid got a different color so that it's easy to identify.
One draw back is the Datel - Action Replay for Nintendo DS doesn't fit in the slot with the Nerf Armor on. We may do some modifications to the Nerf Armor so that it will still work."

Looks good, decent protection

"The Nerf Armor does a decent job of protecting the DS, and looks nice to boot. The inside of the case is a hard plastic shell, which the DS simply snaps into. All the DS's buttons and ports are exposed, so it's completely functional inside the case.
Pros: Easy to use, decent protection, nice looking, all DS features accessible.
Cons: Part of the DS's hinge is unprotected when closed, Nerf material isn't as squishy as expected, adds significant weight/bulk to the DS lite (roughly the same size as original DS).
I'd recommend it to anyone looking for a nice customization and/or moderate protection for their DS lite. However, I wouldn't recommend it to anyone who enjoys the slim and light profile of the DS lite."
