What's great about it: upright steamer use
What's not so great: uses a lot of water
This iron is great for the price. The steamer can be used upright unlike other irons, so you can iron clothes that are hanging.

What's great about it: Easy to use, good price
My husband uses this on his military uniform and says this iron does the best job with creases. His first one broke after 5 years and we just purchased this one again cause he liked it so much the first time.
I would recommend this to a friend!

This iron didn't last too long and when it did work, I had to constantly fill with water.

What's great about it: Affordable price, buttons light up.
What's not so great: NA
The Euro Pro Shark is a very good iron. It is light weight and easy to use. The steam button works well, and I like the lighted buttons that make it easier to see the power buttons.
It was very affordable too.

What's great about it: Light, easy to use. Good price.
What's not so great: Temperature setting mechanism difficult to keep adjusted.
Iron does an excellent job of regular ironing and steam ironing. However, I was using it for pressing for quilting and found it aggravating that I had to reset the heat level every time I went back to the iron. The level does not stay where you last set it. It has the capability of upright steaming, however, the steam did not seem to be sufficient to accomplish an adequate steaming job.

What's great about it: Fast warm up.
What's not so great: Controls feel cheap.
It's a pretty standard iron. Every feature on it seems to operate as advertised. My only issue is that the steam control as a thumb dial was a poor control choice. It seems kind of pointless. Overall, it works fairly well and heats up faster than any irons I purchased previously.
I would recommend this to a friend!

What's not so great: breaks down within a year .
So we bought this iron about close to a year and a half ago. It was working great until about 7 months after we purchased it the steam button didn't want to work it kept falling off until finally it just didn't work. Everything else worked fine until abotu a month ago it makes some weird noises. We decided to buy another different iron but it was worst because it leaked water and this shark one didn't.. bad thing is we didn't purchase the best buy warranty.. big mistake.
I will probably buy this same one but w/ the warranty :D

What's great about it: Simple to use. LEDs let you know when its completely warmed up
What's not so great: Small hole to fill water with
I love my iron. I've had this model for 2 years now with no problem whatsoever. Its been with me through two moves and the last time I moved, my ex-roommates loved it so much they went out and got the same one. I don't know if people know this but irons are not supposed to use tap water. I always use filtered drinking water and my iron works as it did the day I got it. Would buy one again in a heartbeat.

I was not satisfied at all with this product. It performed worse than the iron I was replacing which is a Panasonic. I decided to stick with Panasonic because I've had it over 6 yrs.

This iron barley lasted a year. We got it home and it was great, Iron surface was poor starting getting build up on it. When it died it got so hot it burnt a shirt without any warning. I wouldn't recommend.

What's great about it: It's got decent features, but nothing special for the price.
What's not so great: Overpriced for the life and quality of the product, not very durable... don't buy unless you enjoy being frustrated.
We have a Shark steamer that my wife loves, so when we needed a new iron we gave this one a try. The price point was about $60 after tax, which was a middle of the road price but had seemingly great features and settings for the cost. We noticed that it had some major issues leaking within the first couple months, but figured that it was an iron and that was bound to happen. Then, one of the "feet" fell off, which caused it to be dangerously uneven... strike two. Then, when we'd turn the iron on, just as it would heat up so you could use it, it was auto-powering down as if we forgot it... strike three. But the worst part about the whole Shark ownership experience was that the thing crapped out on us literally one day after our one year warranty with the manufacturer expired! We purchased it on April 9, 2009, and on April 10, 2010 it completely stopped working. We went to iron some clothes and the power just didn't come on anymore... absolutely unbelievable! And after doing some research, it would cost about $20 just to ship it in to have it repaired for "free" if it was still under warranty. The cost to have it repaired out of warranty would have been about $40, plus the $20 in shipping... which is what we paid for it. Why anyone would do that when they could simply go out and purchase a newer and most likely better iron for the price is beyond me. It's sad that the average life of this thing was barely over a year... I'll never buy a Shark iron again.

What's not so great: EVERYTHING worthless waste of money
Leaks, steam button broke after 1 month, totally stopped working after 2 months. WASTE OF MONEY!!!!! It's guarenteed for1 year but cost $20.00 to ship back and forth why bother?

What's not so great: It stopped working
We have been through several irons in the past few years and this iron seemed like the best one so far ... we kept having problems with leaking onto the clothes with other irons.
At first this one was great and did not leak. However, about 2 months ago it started leaking and now just yesterday it stopped working for no reason ... I've cleaned it regularly and there isn't any troubleshooting ideas on their website either.
Guess I have to purchase yet Another iron...from now on I'm purchasing Best Buy's warranty so I can return at no cost up to 3 yrs every iron that turns out not to work -- seems like a pattern these days.

First effort with a Shark iron, followed directions including cleaning, iron just stopped working for no reason what so eve within 6 months of purchase.

Had this iron less an year & does not work well. Water is always coming out of the iron, leaking everywhere (even after it has heated up). The last straw with this iron was when I was ironing & white stuff came out of it while ironing & ruined my shirt.

I purchased this iron and am nothing but pleased. I replaced an iron that cost much more and was not as good. This iron is light weight and esy to use, and did not cost an arm & a leg.
