"This HDTV is too bright for my eyes. Video settings for brightness and backlight are not working at all. So I cannot adjust brightness and backlight. Westinghouse advertises DayBright panel technology for stunning daytime or nighttime viewing. But there is no technology like DayBright feature."

"I bought this t.v. last weekend and I would have to say that I am extremely impressed. From Saturday until Wednesday all I was able to watch on it was Standard Definition t.v. I was expecting to be disappointed with the quality of SD t.v. but was I was pleasantly surprised!! The quality was better than A LOT of the higher priced T.V.s out there. After having HD t.v. installed last night I am even more impressed with it. The quality and detail is amazing and once again better than A LOT of the higher priced T.V.s. It handles everything beautifully. I have seen a lot as I used to install and service for a major cable company. I really like the AutoSource feature as well as the connections being on the sides instead of the bottom. I would highly recommend this T.V."

Great picture for the price

"I am sure there are better TV's but I wasn't willing to pay $2000. This TV is great. I had it mounted on my wall in no time. As soon as I did a scan of the channels I was picking up all the local HD channels too. I bout this TV for my living room so my kids could watch TV somewhere other than my bedroom. The family room is too complicated to use so I needed this TV in my formal living room.
Coolest feature: When I place a disc in my DVD player the TV automatically switches inputs. This is great for the kids.
Not so good feature: The options menu is kind of small, so I have to get off my but to see what I am doing. Poor poor me."

"The features of this TV are comparable to any other branded one in the category. Comes with all the regular options what we use the most like HD, component video, s-video and the PC input.
Yes, it lacks 2 things to become the best TV ever in the 32" dimention arena. One is the better sound quality and the DVI input. If you don't concerned too much about it(like mine) then go grab one before the prices go up."

Awesome HDTV for an price

"This is in my opinion the best entry level HDTV on the market. At $700 this TV is a steal, and I got it on sale for $580. For years I had been interested in getting an HDTV, and after seeing the price and quality of this one, I don't regret it.
The 32" Westinghouse looks awesome once you have everything hooked up. It's got plenty of connections for whatever you need. If going from a SD TV to this, you'll be amazed, I promise. An XBox 360 looks especially nice in my opinion, as does any HD programming.
The only downsides to this TV are the lack of 1080p, and how badly the Wii appears on this TV. The lack of 1080p is no big deal to me at all right now, as hardly anything takes full advantage of it and probably won't for at least a few years. However, I'm disappointed how the Wii appears, even with component cables and having the right settings. That's really the only problem I have with this TV, and it wasn't enough for me not to give it a 5/5.
Bottom line, if you're looking for an HDTV, but this one. If it's on sale, buy it even faster. It's a great price, awesome screen, and makes games (most of them at least) look awesome. Just keep in mind that if you have a Nintendo Wii, you're probably better off keeping that on your standard definition."

"Was looking at getting an LCD TV for a while and didn't want to just go out and buy any old TV. I came on here and read the reviews for each of the TVs in the price range as this one and none of them came close. Boy were those reviews correct, this TV is amazing! I would recommend this to anybody in the market for an LCD even if they were planning on spending more than this one costs. Great value and great quality."

"I have had this television for several months now and have played games, watched DVD's, television, sporting events, and even home videos on it. I love the multiple input abilities and the quality of display. It may not be 1080p (the best quality) but for the price you are getting an excellent product. I have already successfully encouraged my friend to purchase one and I currently own three Westinghouse televisions (27", 32", and 37") The 32" is definitely the best price per dollar. I believe you will find no better deal anywhere."

"We owned this TV for about 3 weeks. It was a great TV overall. It has a great cable management system; just absolutely remarkable. The sound was much better than a higher priced Phillips one we purchased afterwards. The picture was not the best, but it was a darn good TV....especially considering the price. We returned because we have to watch with Closed-Caption and the letters were too small. If you don't need that function and you don't want to spend the extra money...this is a perfect TV."

"I have always been a little skeptical about purchasing an HD TV because I always felt that there wasn't much of a difference between the picture on them versus my nice 42'' Sony Flat screen tube television. I needed a TV for the bedroom so I desided to look into something that was a great size and price friendly. Once I got to Best Buy I saw the Westing House 32'' HDTV and thought that there was something wrong because the price just seemed to good to be true, especially compared to all the the other ones around it. I already knew that Westing House is a part of Sony so I knew I was getting a great product at the price I was looking for. Now I get to lay in my bed and enjoy all the movies I loved watching before, except now I have a whole knew outlook on the details. The definition is just amazing and you can actually see the threads that make up the material in the clothes, and I was also able to see grains of sand in "Total Recall", one of my favorites growing up. I would definately recommend this product to anyone and everyone who is interested in upgrading there home and considering the benefits that are offered from the new technology we have today."

"I have owned my 32" Westinghouse for about a year now. To be honest, price was the biggest consideration when I compared brands. I have been extremely pleased with my purchase and have even considered putting the 32" LCD in my bedroom and getting a 42" Westinghouse for the living room. I watch a lot of sports and I always get many compliments on the crisp, clear picture quality that HDTV delivers. I recommend this LCD to anyone who is price conscious without compromising quality."

"I bought this TV for movies and most of all my HD games. The quality is simply outstanding. The price can't be beat for a 32 inch TV. There are great features such as the auto source which means if you are watching TV and you turn on your game console and the TV will automatically switch channels to your game counsole. It has a cool rear spine that allows for very little cord clutter as well. The set up took maybe 6 or 7 minutes and then I was watching my new TV. If you are in the market for a great TV that won't burn a whole in your wallet, this is a "must buy"at Best Buy."
