What's great about it: The price for quality
What's not so great: Needs a surround sound system
The tv has a great picture and a lot of connections. Hooking it up to a blu ray player is a must. The sound seems a bit low, but I am looking into a surround sound system anyway so it is not a big problem. If you are looking for a tv right now you can't beat the outlet center price.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I just got my self the SHARP Aquos and i gotta say that i wasn't too sure if i had made the best decision and i was still using a regular DVD player with up conversion. As soon as i got a blue ray player the picture quality just totally blew me away it truly is an amazing TV. the only thing that i wish the Aquos did come with would be pip or picture in picture and that's not a big deal. so i would say that if you are thinking about getting an HD TV i would strongly recommend the Aquos the only thing that i regret is that i didn't get a bigger one.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I am happy with this tv bought the extented warranty and still haven't had a problem.it has been over a year and still no problems

Compared to a Sony the picture is just as outstanding if not better, only difference is the price. No other TV's compare to this one.
I have owned Sharp TV's for over 20 years now and have always been pleased with the quality of their products. I spent a lot of time checking prices and reading reviews, which some complained about sound, which I have not found anything wrong with the sound.
I'm not a technical person, so I don't have a need to make a bunch of changes to the settings, I just want to plug it in and enjoy. Very easy instructions for hook up on the cable and DVD player. I am extremely pleased with my purchase.
I highly recommend this TV anyone. High quality and great price.

What's great about it: crystal clear, 120Hz lights up blurays
What's not so great: price fairly high
I purchased this TV after comparing it to the Sony xbr and the samsung 120Hz, and they all look great. i think the sharp has a little bit clearer screen though, and the price difference wasnt enough to effect my choice. if you want the best overall tv, this has to be it!

I bought this from the store open box and its been the best purchase ever. I would definitely recommend this, worth the extra money. Great for gaming, we play PS3 on it the clarity is amazing.. you will need to buy a hd cable for the PS3 to the tv though runs about 100 worth it though!!!

What's not so great: fuzzy pictureexcept on hd. regular tv need side bars for clearer picture
Buy Pansonic, pioneer, or samsung if you want a quaility picture without the haze. This was a costly mistake for me and just don't want anybody else making the same.

My review is based purely on my impression of the TV. I didn't compare its picture quality against other TV sets or anything like that, like many reviewers did.
Setting the unit to receive the 1080i resolution from Dish Network, the HD channels are very clear. The non-HD channels are not better than my old TV. Perhaps this is a limitation of the signal, rather than the TV. My disappointment is in the sound capacity. It's underwhelming. Maybe a home theater system is needed.
I give it 4 stars because of the HD picture quality.

I've looked at several LCD TVs in various sizes and found this to be the sharpest in regards to picture quality. I've hooked it up to a BOSE surround sound system and it's perfect to watch DVDs and movies. Quality and Sound at a great price. Very easy instructions to follow. I would recommend this TV for anyone looking for an LCD large screen.

There is only two tvs that i will ever buy.. This and a Sony bravia xbr. For the money you cannot beat this tv. i bought this tv around x-mas, and everyday its amazing.. i cant watch anything animated cause it hurts my eyes with the vivid colors.
As an Audio-Video Integrator i mess with tvs on a daily basis and the only thing better is the sony but that comes with a price tag.. if your thinking about the sony save yourself some cash and get this tv.. you will only loose 1 hdmi port and a couple of s-videos.
with that said.. i do wish this tv had more imputs.. only 1 s-vid is bad for the people who have multi units or havnt purchased an up-convert player.
cant go wrong with this tv

great, great , great! we got this puppy recently and all i gotta say is SHAZZAMM!!! seriously, i have my sharp 46" LCD hooked up to a panasonic UPCONVERT dvd player set to 1080p progressive scan and i cant stop loading more and more movies into the puppy. the matrix, the newer star wars, they all look AWESOME! it wasnt cheap as i paid almost 2600.00, but it truly takes my breath away. the picture quality, the way it doesnt blur during motion shots, the level of color saturation, and especially the fact that it AUTOMATICALLY adjusts the brightness of the picture depending on how much lights you have on or how dark your room is.... all of the items made me take this puppy home. no other tv that they had in the store in this size, not even the plasmas, looked as good as this SHARP AQUOS!

We bought this tv about a week ago and absolutely love it. Superb picture and sound quality. I hooked my xbox 360 and got outstanding 1080p resolution. I am totally happy with this tv as well as the service i received at the store.

Couldn't be happier with this television, the picture is great. I even watch shows I previously never saw if they are being broadcast in HD. Hopefully TimeWarner will increase their number of HD channels. I recommend this product and the people at Best Buy were great.

The picture on this set is excellent. It also has great feature such as automatic shutoff with no signal. Sound quality is great. I like the colors they are really vivid and true. A definite recommendation.

When looking for a new 1080P TV, my main concern was latency. I had seen fast action on older DLP and LCD TVs, and they always had a blur to them. When I saw this TV the first time, it surprised me how well it handled fast motion. So, I took the plunge.
After getting it home, I was thrilled with how well movies and video games looked on it. I can honestly say I am not disappointed in the least with this TV. Anybody looking for a 46" TV in this price range should look no further. This is the one.
