this is great lcd tv. easy to hook up and works excellent as a monitor for computer. picture quality is great on tv also. i will say this is best purchase i ever made.

What's great about it: Great Picture, tons of inputs
What's not so great: HDMI input does not pass-through DD
I was worried this TV would not work in my living room as I have two windows and a glass door on one wall. In my setup, the TV is angled slightly away from windows & door, so the reflections are really not that bad. During the day, I have to set the picture mode to "Standard" in order to see dimly lit scenes. At night, I have to switch it back to "Movie" as the "Standard" setting is way too bright. The picture is sharp, contrast is amazing. Even though this set does not have 120hz processing, with the 8ms response time, I haven't notced any motion blur during viewing, although I did have one viewer say they saw some briefly during a football game. I did, however, get some playing Gran Turismo 4, switching over to "Game" mode, fixed it though. Only other problem I noticed was watching some concert footage with a lot of strobe lights, the refresh did seem to have some trouble keeping up.
I wish that the HDMI 1.3 inputs would pass through the Dolby Digital signal, but no other TVs are doing this either, so that can't be held against this TV.

What's great about it: nice color, swivels on stand, easy to use
What's not so great: slight blur sometimes during action
This TV was chosen as a warranty replacement for a Sony LCD projection TV that was not able to be repaired. I was limited to a certain price TV and this one was the best looking picture of what I had to choose from. I'm not sure the picture is as good as my Sony but overall, I'm happy with it. Incidentally, this is my 3rd TV that has been replaced by a warranty. The first one that went out was a Samsung so I was a little concerned with purchasing this brand again. Only time will tell if this one is reliable.

What's great about it: Great Picture, easy setup, great price
What's not so great: Slight blurring during action scenes
Got this TV with Samsung blu-ray disc player and had it hooked up within an hour. Immediately saw difference from my previous HDTV. Noticed very slight blurring during action scenes, but not enough to cause any issues. Can't beat the quality for the price of this TV. HD channels look amazing and even non-HD channels look better. This TV is definitely a great buy.

When I purchased this product I also purchased a Samsung home theater, I can use one remote for both products, standard dvds look great on this tv, I can only image what it would like in HD. Viewing regular tve program in HD is excpetional and even non HD stations come in crystal clear, this was a great purchase we would buy this tv again.

What's great about it: Great sharpness, vivid color, beautiful enclosure.
What's not so great: Overly complex color controls, some presets seem to not work, some blur in action.
Overall this is a great set for the money. Watching MHD, NGHD or HD sports and other movies is truly absorbing...like being there. Minor complaints about the lack of intuitive color control. Also some color presets didn't seem to have real life effect or their availability only in various modes was so complex as to cause me to give up. Also noticed some minor blurring in sports action, but not enough to be disruptive. If I could give it 4.5 stars I would. If you are a true aficionado and don't mind spending 1-3 K more, get faster response time and better contrast ratio. But for the money I paid I am thrilled with the picture.

What's great about it: color and picture are superb
What's not so great: a little pricey
This TV will provide you with an exceptional picture in quality and richnes of color. If you are a gamer the HD picture quality on my XBox system is outstanding and the game feature alows the screen to keep up with the action going on in the game without fading out or tiling. I highly recommend this TV for it quality and cool design.

What's great about it: everything, except for one little tiny tiny prob
What's not so great: tv gets pretty hot if its on for awhile
this tv is awesome. i've had it for about 7 or 8 months now and not one problem with it. having this tv during the football season was probably the best thing i could have done. the picture is so clear, its almost as if you could reach out and touch the players. the colors are very vivid and life like. i really couldn't ask for a better tv. and the price of it is pretty awesome to. so if your looking for all the factors like colors, clearity, size, and price i would definitly recommend this tv is for you.

What's great about it: Takes up less space than the old TV's
What's not so great: None
This model was sold out right after Thanksgiving so I had to wait for it for about 2 weeks. It was well worth the wait. The picture is fantastically clear and the colors are true. Blue Ray animation such as Cars and movies such as Pirates of The Caribbean 3 and Spiderman 3 are sharper than being at the theatre. I didn't think it looked big in the store but when I got it home, it looked huge. But as time went on, I've gotten used to it. A word of advice: tone down the "picture" and "backlight" on the set. Seems it was adjusted very bright; probably to accommodate the store when the set is displayed.

What's great about it: Clear HD Picture, easy setup.
What's not so great: Fuzzy non-HD channels
The menus are easy to navigate. The HD channels are very crisp and clear. Sound is very good but I mostly go through my home theatre using HDMI from the HD Cable box to the TV and the optical output to my receiver. Movies and gaming looks incredible. I'm glad I retired my 32" standard tv for this one. This is a must buy product.

What's great about it: Fantastic picture, robust menus and settings, Easy installation
What's not so great: Default picture modes needed significant adjustment
I searched a long time before selecting a TV to purchase. I built a home theater into a basement remodel and wanted to do it right.
This was not actually the TV I went to the store to purchase. I was going to get the 4661, but the 4665 was on sale at the store. I liked the higher contrast ratio, so I went with it.
I had to do some tweaking to get the picture modes right for my room, but the menus are easy to operate. Mostly, I had to adjust backlight and contrast settings, particularly in Movie mode. The nice thing is that you can adjust each default mode independently, as well as create custom modes. I use different modes for sports, movies, SD vs. HD, etc.
Everyone who comes over loves the TV, and 2 friends have purchased the same set, since I got it. Highly recommended.

What's great about it: Great picture, great sound, and good setting options.
What's not so great: Wish it had more hdmi inputs, if it is wall mounted up high you can't reach the buttons.
I am really happy with the purchase of this lcd tv. We decided to mount it to the wall and it makes the television look even better. The backlighting on the tv makes it look like we're watching a movie in the theater. The picture of the tv couldn't be any better. We're always receiving great comments on the quality of the picture. Gaming, blue ray or hd dvds, and hd cable tv is unbelieveable. The only downsides in my opinion are hardware issues; only 3 hdmi inputs, buttons are on top which makes it hard to reach when wall mounted, and that's about it. I recommend this tv.

I'm just a mom that doesn't know much about HDTV's. I just wanted a beautiful picture and no glare when watching shows. This tv came with a beautiful picture right out of the box. Easy to use controls. Looks great on the wall...no busy chrome or such, simple black outline that seems to fade away while watching. Would recommend this tv to everyone and at the sale price it just can't be beat!

What's great about it: Great contrast. Smart input selection. Lots of inputs on back panel. Beautiful display.
What's not so great: ...?
I spent about half a year researching LCD and plasma flat panel displays in the $1500 - $3000 price range and I always came back to the Samsung panels. Unless you spend about $5000 you wont find the kind of contrast and display quality found in this unit. A must have in this range - this flat panel works similar to a Pioneer Kuro plasma display in respect to vivid colors and excellent viewing contrast. Very recommended...even in bright lighting I don't notice reflections.

I had been looking at for a new TV for a while and had finally decided between the this one. I am so glad i did. I love the picture quality that i have on HD programing, its so crisp and clear, regular prgramming too. I also played with the PC hookup and wow! Surfing the web on a 46 inch screen is amazing! I definately recommend this TV.

What's great about it: great picture, 1080 p and 46 " for $1,699, you cant beat that anywhere. love the tv.
What's not so great: Remote cannot switch channels when facing away. The only flaw.
I love the tv and would recommend it to anyone. Great picture and sound including HD setup. awesome tv.

I was torn between the 61F and the 65F and was originally going to buy the 61F, but it wouldn't be delivered until Fed. 21 and I had to have something by the Super Bowl and Daytona 500. So I decided on the 65F. Amazing! I'm definatly glad I went with this over the 61F. The setup in the store had a hint of a redder tint to it, but I have seen none of this at home. The colors are accurate, the picture blows me away all the time. This TV works great for fast action. If your looking for a great TV at a great price go with this one.

After about 6 months of waiting and doing research, I finally decided to purchase an HDTV. I went to Best Buy with the intent to purchase a 52" Sony HDTV that was on sale for $1350, but after comparing pictures and quality, I could not let this pass up.
I got the TV when it was on sale for $1,799, and couldn't be happier. I ended up getting to Best Buy at 9:45 (they close at 10:00), and they stayed open until 11:15 for me until all my questions were answered and I was happy. I went with this over the Sony because I have read and heard in numerous places (including Best Buy employees) that Samsung makes the best LCD TV. I was so impressed with this TV that I spent $450 more than I anticipated and planned.
Some tips: Right out of the box the picture is good, but not good enough (as all TV's out of the box are like this). With my Scientific Atlanta 5300HD cable box I was able to go into the settings (with the box off, push and hold the Guide and Info buttons) and adjust the picture a little more, which certainly helped. I also picked up a Monster HDTV surge protector that filters out the interference from the electricity and cable which actually REALLY helped a lot. Aside from this I also went into the TV's settings (via the Menu button on the Samsung remote) and adjusted the picture accordingly. You can goto cnet.com, read the review for this product, and they recommend different settings for this TV (I mixed their recommendations with some of mine, but mostly used theirs) which helped a great deal as well. Also when you hook up your TV, keep the power cable separate from every other cable.
I was extremely happy before I did all this, and now I am even more happy. This TV went above and beyond my expectations, and I will forever stick with Samsung. I would also recommend picking up a universal remote. I chose the Logitech Harmony 550 (mainly because I use my surround sound through my receiver for this TV). With the push of 1 button, everything turns on. My current setup is this Samsung TV w/ 2 JBL 6" 3-way floor standing speakers, 4 Klipsch surround sound speakers, all powered by a Sony home theater amp. I couldn't be happier! I purchased everything through Best Buy.
I hope this was helpful, and I know you will love this TV as much as I do.
