"I got this tv a couple weeks ago and I was amzed. I have directv w/ HD and it looks like I am looking thru a window. Playstation 3 looks amazing the detail on games such as Call Of Duty 4 are insane. I reccomend this TV to anyone wanting to put a 32in in there room or elsewhere!!! Trust LG the Best Buy salesman said in a year they will rival Sony and Samsung"

"This is my first LCD TV and I must say I am impressed with the picture quality for the price. It makes the 360 games look sooo much better than they did on my back breaking CRT. 720p def. makes a difference as well the light weight of this television."

"wanted a new tv, 42 inch at first. did a lot of online research through out all types of store. best buy has the best deals on HDTV currently, so i went there. saw all the 42 inch tvs that was under 1000 bucks, but when i saw this one the picture just blew me away. better then most 1080 tvs and i liked that the border is relatively small and the speakers are louder then it seems for a 2-10w speaker if you're not planning to get surround sound. remote control is very simple as well. very sharp look. and i got it for 700 bucks with the open box deal. WELL WORTH IT!!!"

What's great about it: 8000:1 contrast ratio, light weight for wall mounting, ultra clear picture in HD
What's not so great: none so far.
"My wife recently bought me a Play Station 3 that came with 10 free blue ray disks and we decided that we wanted an HDTV to go with it. I sat back and watched all of the HDTVs for a while and the picture on this one just stuck out. There was a more expensive 1080P television right beside it that didnt look nearly as good because this one has an 8000:1 contrast ratio. I think for the price this is the best TV that bestbuy offers and i have researched all of there televisions fairly well. If you are discouraged by some of the other reveiws then purchase bestbuy's four year extended warranty that covers everything from parts to labor. Best TV ever!"

What's great about it: it had a really good picture, when able to see it
What's not so great: The first tv kept going off. Took it back for another one and it wouldn't stay on either
"We are now waiting for a complete motherboard. It seems to be on backorder. I wish we had not bought this tv.Will not recommend it or buy another LG."

What's not so great: not 1080p, other than that nothing

"When i first got this home and installed it, which was easy to do, I didn't have HD yet, just regular RF cable. But, the programing and start-up was easy and fun! You may say why would this person say fun? Well just with the regular cable hooked up to this awesome LG TV, I got so many chanels that i didn't have before. I assume the tuners that come with this LG TV allow for more chanel options on reg. cable hook-up. The picture was unbelievable! I would recomend this LG TV to anyone, it is awesome.:)"

"I love this tv, sometimes in the morning when we turn it on the picture doesn't come up immediately, so we turn it off and back on and it is fine. It has only done this 3 or 4 times, and we've had it a year, so it's really not a set-back."

What's great about it: Hmm, hard to think of any.
What's not so great: Bad TV reception/quality if on a antenna. HDTV lags. DO NOT USE for Xbox360 console, it lags tremendously.
"I mainly got this TV to play Halo 3 on. Little did I know this TV sucks. I will tell you right now, do NOT but this if your going to play video games (Xbox360) on this TV, it will lag and cause you to suck at Halo 3 online. The actuall TV part of it is OK. Not that great. Also when your watching TV it won't be on the whole screen, just a square in the middle of the TV. I wish I Hadn't bought this TV. I dont trust LG with TVs anymore. Sorry BestBuy but I still love you."

"Great TV with a very clear picture and nice sound. It is light weight, which makes it easy to install and place on a nice piece of furniture. You don't have to place it on a TV cabinet or stand which is made for a heavier TV. Everyone that watches it comments on what a nice clear picture it is. Some screens make everything on TV appear wider than it actually is, but this screen doesn't seem to. I would recommend it to anyone."

"I love my l.g. 32" t.v.! it's great. It's so light and easy to carry. Also when i bought it, it was on a great deal. For only $100 more i also got the l.g. surround sound that was $399. Not to mention the t.v.'s sound and lighting is amazing. So i would definitally recommend this to anyone, you won't be sorry. :)"

"I did Alot of research before buying this Lg TV. I also went to Every Electronics Store Many Many Times, Watching, Studying, Looking For Any and All Problems with any of the flat panel TV's. And of All Of the flat panels, this is the only one that has almost all Great Reviews, and performed well at every store i went to. I would put them on regular channels, instead of the High Definition channels they have them on. I wanted to see what they would look like when I got it home, because we dont have high definition yet. I have always loved Sony and Samsung, but in comparison, and to my amazement this Lg stood its ground. its clarity is better then Samsung. Check for yourself, look at them side to side in the store. also Samsung had a slower reaction time. The Sony had a great picture, but was showing lines through on peoples mouth. This Lg has an amazing color, and when we played our standard progressive scan dvd player, the picture is just as good as high def. All in All if you are really reading this before buying a flat panel, I would Really consider trying this one. Even though its an off brand(meaning not Sony/Samsung/Toshiba/etc.) It is such an amazing value. I say try it, hey if you get it home and don't like it, you can just take it back, and its not all heavy like a tube tv. Oh also setup is way too simple i just hooked all the cords where i had them in my tube tv, turned it on and that was it, no weird settings or stuff like i heard about other lcd tv's. I did find one bad point in some of the reviews i read, some people said that their Lg tv picture went out after 30 days or so, so i just bought the 2 year extended warranty, on lcd tvs its a very crucial thing to get. i mean $50 bucks to have two years of worry free lcd tv watching, it was worth it to me, and im very cheap. well i hope this helped you in some way, and honestly i would try this, will be so worth it, i already did all the research for you."

A Good TV, a Great buy!!!

"I just purchased this TV, but I am already more than satified with it's quality and performance. Having been the first LCD TV that I have bought, I suppose that my standards aren't as high as some of the more fickle customers, but I think that this television is more than enough to satisfy what I am using it for.
From gaming to video watching, I am more than happy about my purchase. I was a little worried at first, but I happened to purchase this TV at a great price, $799.99 (Around $847.98 after Tax)!!! and so far it has been worth every penny!
I compared the picture of this TV to the picture of all the other 32" LCD's in the area, and I found it to be the most clear, and it seemed to have the least amount of lag and distortion when dealing with faster moving objects. My only complaint would be the somewhat pixelated display you get on certain images when watching standard non-cable television (though this was corrected after I bought an HD receiver). I have also read a couple of reviews on various sites about there being problems with the mother board. I am sure that some of them have defects, but what can you do? If you mass produce something of course you will have a few defective ones!
Anyway, if you are looking for the best TV in the WORLD, you may not be as happy about it, but if you want a great style of TV that has, as far as I am concerned, one of the best pictures, I would get it!!!"
