"I bought my LG on 9-15-07, when I got home I followed the lackluster instructions, turned it on....and nothing. Took it back that evening for Best buy to check it. It was dead. I exchanged it for the same LG, hope it wasn't a mistake."

"I bought this TV about 3 weeks ago after many hours in my local BB watching different types of programming on all the display models (and kudos to BB for the wide selection). The picture quality is astoundingly good, especially when viewing real HD content with an off-air antenna. Regular DVDs look great but you will want a progressive scan player with Component Video or HDMI outputs (or a HD-DVD). And be warned you will never be satisfied with analog cable or worse, the highly compressed pictures of DirecTV/Dish once you've seen off-air HDTV. From the research I have done LG leads the industry in LCD display quality and also the nuts and bolts of the tuner/decoder chips and these elements are the strengths of this set--and what you would look for in a TV that will be used during the "digital transition" of the broadcasting and cable industries. As other reviewers have hinted though, the control software is not as outstanding. The "Ratio" button does not fill the screen well and behaves unpredictably and differently depending on the type of input signal. To be able to manually adjust such basic functions as contrast, color, sharpness require navigation about 3 levels down from the opening menu screen to the "User" controls (some of which are blanked out in some modes). The only thing that is weaker in this set is the Owner's Manual. Almost totally useless. Thank goodness the "factory predetermined" settings options produce generally good results.
In short, a great tuner and display hampered by poorly designed control structure. Would I buy it again? Yes, absolutely. Another PLUS for this set: it will fit most existing entertainment center furniture you may already have for your analog set. A great choice for the digital transition."

"First we wanted a larger screen, but are limited by space where this TV has to live. Then I read a review that the store brand was well worth the money, but in store my wife pointed out the drastic difference in the higher end (& higher $) TVs. We opted for this LG and everyone in the family is very pleased - especially how DVDs look.
Pros - very pleased with the physical look. The picture is sharp and we love the contrast ratio. Remote is straight forward and easy to use.
Cons - I discovered after purchase that there is no CableCARD slot, so we have to have a second cable box or off air for HD. The choices for fitting picture to screen seem a little off, but that might be my own user error, I admit I haven't read the manual :)"

"LG makes great products in my opinion, but this is the first TV of theirs that I have purchased. I'm not disappointed! The 32" screen is great for my office and the back panel has every possible connection that I'll ever need. With built in speakers and a universal remote, this is a great package. I'm waiting for a wall bracket that I ordered so I can hang it on the wall (btw, I got a generic one at an online auction site for about 1/3 the price of a retail name brand bracket). Then it goes up on the wall and connected to my computer as well as cable. I also plan on getting an HD cable receiver box too so I can enjoy all my favorite programs in HD. Can't wait!"

"I bought this TV almost 3 months ago and have had 0 problems. The picture quality is excellent expecially with HD programming. I like how it uses the Simplink remote and HDMI cable so you can control the different components without needing to program the remote. The number of inputs and outputs are also helpful. I would highly recommend this product as a solid choice for anyone buying a new TV."

"I bought this TV about three months ago and love it. I had a limited amount of space so I mounted it on the wall. I do not have HD channels but the built in tuner on this TV improves the quality of my analog signal. It has a great picture, good sound quality, its easy to operate, and looks great (even when off). I definatly recomend this TV to anyone in the market."

"We purchased the LG 32 inch flat screen HD TV a few months ago. We are so happy that we bothered to check out some updated TV purchasing information from family and friends prior to our purchase, because we had not purchased a TV for many years. We are also glad that we followed their recommendations to buy just what we needed.
We chose the LG 32 inch flat screen HD TV Model 32LC7D for our bedroom and it is truly an awesome ongoing experience for us. We never had flat screen or HD before and it is a magnificant picture, We are so pleased with the slim light design and easy set-up/ installation process. We are both older baby-boomers and it is a pleasure to have something this up-to-date in technology, yet so easy to operate and that just one of us is needed to lift it out of the box. We love the nature programs with all the natural, true to life colors and screen view in the HD experience. This TV not only delivers a great picture, but the sound is terrific and it is easy and uncomplicated to operate. Great TV and a Best Buy!

"I bought a new TV for our new house. I love LG products, so I went with this brand. For the first week the TV worked great. Then we went away for a months vacation, came back and it didn't work! It would not turn off and then when it finally would turn off it would turn it's self back on! Okay called LG they gave me a name of a repair man. When I called the repair man he said he knew exactly what was wrong. He seen it all the time in this model. GREAT! It has been fixed and it works great now. I just hope it stays fixed."

"I bought this TV on Saturday and it died on Sunday. After a quick exchange we enjoyed it for 41 days before it died again. Both units had bad power supplies. We are currently waiting for the part to come in. According to the time line set by the service company, we will be without this TV for at least 35 days before they can get back to our house to complete the repairs. I think that LG has quality issues, at least with this model.
I will say that the picture quality was nice while it lasted but I would never recommend this brand."

"I bought this t.v. about 7 months ago, and I could not be happier. I went from 27" SDTV to this t.v., with the full HD package, and I have loved every minute of it.
I have just recently bought a new entertainment center, and it will fit up to a 50" t.v., and I would not even consider buyer any other brand then LG for my next upgrade. I will probably go with a 42" or 47" LG next.
Awesome product, you will love it."

"We have always wanted a flat screen tv. We went to best Buy just to get some movies but then I got to looking at the tv section . We only have a small space so we looked at the LG's and found the one we wanted. We got it home and hooked the cable up. Believe me this tv is fantastic!!.It's the best one we have ever had.Thank you Best Buy for handling the LG products."
