the players look great but it is too easy you would have to put it on all madden to be hard. fumling to much.{it is a glich}
What's great about it: the players look cool
What's not so great: the freezing and the fumbling

This game blows it is the worst game i have ever played. how can one team fumble 5 times while the other has 0 is beyond me. this game sux. 3 kickoffs in a row out of this world. i guess if inconsistency is what your lookin for, this game is for you. for everyone else go buy espn 2k5

My son loves this game. He says it is way better then the games for his older gaming systems. Has alot of fun with it.

Just an excellent game, I like the my skills part of the game. I think that they could of made the game more difficult. Even with the my skills the game play is to easy for my liking.

the best football/ madded game ever, period. madden has really refined every aspect of the game play and the visuals, franchise mode is immersive. online play is always fun.

the madden frachise although bashed for not being innovative is still the best sports game in my opinion. this game has great online play, but also has a good single player. this game is very fun and is recommended to any football fan.
What's great about it: fun single player, better online play
What's not so great: not a fluid and realistic as i would like

This is great for all fans of Madden. Amazing graphics and detail to the players, coaches, and stadiums. The achievements on this game are really easy to get as well. You must buy this if you like Madden.

I don't much like this game. not as good as I expected. I don't like watching football and I don't much like this game. Not enough action and not visually stimulating like good games. I feel this game is way over-rated.

This game is the best Madden yet, however I would look forward to Madden 09 becuase there is a lot that can be improved on. The gameplay is great, similar to all Madden games. However, there are many problems that could be fixed. For example, the way players run and move, how the players can see what play you choose, and defensive coverage, just to name a few. Overall the game is awesome but next years could have cooler aspects like a more in-depth draft and more opportunity to make your Superstar a better player.
What's great about it: Gameplay, Teams, Graphics, Game Types
What's not so great: Slow and kind of Wierd player movement, so many buttons

Contrary to many other reviews this game is not that bad. Madden 08 is exactly what was expected madden with better graphics and more and less features than the previous edition. This games graphics are great with out a doubt and the AI is not as bad as some would say. the AI for cornerbacks and saftys is very high and they do take a lot of balls. However they do not get nearly as many if you mix it up. This game needs to be played like a team you cant run the same play six times a drive all game and get 50 catches for 650 yards it wont happen. Having said that the receivers AI is very very bad, as usual balls or catches that can be reached out for are not and they are just running through routes. If you have NCAA 08 and like drafting your players and developing them this really is a great game. The 'Train Active Team' before franchise games is great for young players to develop and decent and good players to make them great. However my biggest pet peeve is the freezing in my fourth or fifth season I kept freezing trying to load a game for no reason. I tried two separate madden 08 disks on three consoles and every time I would freeze. The freezing is not only annoying but makes you wanna stop playing the game. If your not one to spend money on the newest version of the game this is not a bad choice if you want to fool around with player and teams or play with other people. But if you like going into multi years of franchise its not really worth it once the disk starts freezing out. Overall its a good rental or a game you'll only want to play for a few months other wise its not really worth it.
What's great about it: Graphics, AI, Train Active team
What's not so great: AI, Freezing

Pretty good gameplay still yet, and they add a few things here and there. The graphics are pretty okay, but the animation makes it look good. EA stills owns the football genre, this is the best pigskin you can get.
What's great about it: Fun
What's not so great: kinda gets old without 2 players.

This is an awesome Madden Game. Get it now while it is only like thirty dollers! This is an average game if you want to do a season... but if you have freinds over you can have a hardcore tournament.
