What's great about it: It lifts your appliances to a very nice level of use.
What's not so great: The contruction and price are not conducive.
They work well and give the washer and dryer a very nice look. It is very poorly contruction with front of drawers made of plastic. I got them because I paid $99 a piece. But I would have never paid over $100 per pedestal.
I recommend them for $99 or less.

I have had machines before without the pedestals and regretted it the entire time. Has good storage and puts the machine at an optimum level to work with.

What's not so great: The company - Samsung
The pedestals I have on my Samsung washer and dryer are not bad, but I am warning everyone not to buy Samsung products because of their service. The product might be good while it is still in warranty, but be prepared to pay for repair costs and no help from Samsung because their products will stop working. This happened to my Samsung wash machine just after 3 years.
If you are going to buy pedestals, go with a different brand.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I have back problems, and these pedestals have been absolutely great for taking the stress off of my back. No more bending over. I highly recommend these. The price is a little high, but worth the investment. I did have to raise the cabinets above the washer and dryer a few inches to be able to accommodate the pedestals. But still worth it!

What's great about it: the height and the storage space.
What's not so great: the price
I bought this mostly to raise the height of my new washing machine. I'm disabled and bending isn't comfortable. Also, in the past year my basement has had a number of mini floods so I wanted my washing machine off the floor. This pedestal is the right height to make using the machine comfortable and it is taller than the past floods. I did find the price to be a little high for such a simple unit. The storage space is fairly decent too.
I would recommend this to a friend!

For the size of the drawers, I would expect them to hold more than they do. Not all laundry detergent bottles fit in the drawer. For and additional $400, just not worth the cost.

What's great about it: no more bending & got them on sale
I purchased the washer/dryer and the matching pedestals so that I can eliminate the need for bending over to remove the clothes from each appliance. Life Saver! I got mine on sale (all four pieces). I am not able to utilize the drawers simply because the way our tile floor with front lip is made to house the units on a 2nd floor - but it doesn't matter that I can't use the drawers -- no more breaking back and as I age this will become even more of an asset for the appliance!
I would recommend this to a friend!

If you have front loaders, the pedestals are almost a necessity. It really makes it easier to load and unload. The extra storage space is nice too. Too bad they rake you over the coals with the cost.

We would have regreted not buying the pedestal's if we did not get them on the first order. We just moved into a condo and when you try to maximize your laundry room space, you want the pedistal's.
The drawers ni the pedestal's a of a nice size to put laundry soaps etc or make them a tool drawer for misc. items.

If you purchase the Samsung washer and dryer you definitely need these storage drawers. They have a lot of room and raise the machines up to a comfortable operating level. I could not imagine having the machines without these drawers. They are very sturdy.

the height of the drawer was too low, it would not even accomodate a mall detergent contained or a bottle of stain remover
For the amount of the purchase it was cheaply made.

What's not so great: Waaaaaaaay overpriced for a drawer/pedestal.
It's okay, not much to say about a drawer. The height of the drawer is not tall enough to stand the High Efficiency (HE) detergent we purchased so the bottles must be placed on their side. I hope they don't leak.

We actually received our washer dryer set 3 weeks before the pedestals. I can't believe we ever lived without them. No out of balance or spin vibration issues at all. The only negative I have mention is the price. They are pricey for a rolling plastic drawer!!

These pedestals really are a have to have item with the washer/dryer. The storage is good for those odd laundry cleaning products etc.. I still think these pedestals generally are overpriced.

What's great about it: Not sure if they wouldn't have sold me a display model
What's not so great: Pieces broken or scratched
I purchase this pedestal on line for a pick-up only. Not sure how the item was to be wrapped I received a shrink wraped pedestal with peices broken or scratched. I am almost a hour from the nearest Best Buy so taking it back wasn't going to work either, so i struggled through getting to work and said never again.
