Wow, so Great 02/12/2008

"The freezer part has a lot of room with slide out baskets that make finding the back items really easy. The refrigerator part has slide out shelves and even a drop down shelf that allows for taller items to fit. My food stays fresh a long time in the refrigerator due to the different temperature drawers for items like cheese, meat, and produce. It cleans up really easily too; the shelves pull out so easily that I can just take them over to the sink and wash them down with soap and water. And of course, my kids love the water and ice despenser. I love that you can lock the controls so that while you are cleaning there won't be any ice or water spilling out onto you. This is a great refrigerator both inside and out. I recommend that you also pick up a stainless steel cleaner to make cleaning the outside a breeze!"

it's a fridge 01/29/2008

What's great about it: pretty
What's not so great: compressor rattles, sodas slip in rack

"I know this will read fussy- but I took the wall down between the DR & the Kitchen and I wanted a very quiet fridge and unfortunately the compressor on this fridge makes an annoying noise.
Now I listen to fridges wherever I go and I regret to say that this one is just not that hushed. I know I didn't buy a SubZero, but I felt I was buying a higher-end product and expected more.
And this is really picky, but soda cans slide through the metal rack on the door."

"This has been a terrific unit. It meets all of our needs. I run a foster home for disabled adults and I need all the room I can get. This refrigerator has never let us down. The shelves are very easy to keep clean."

Very Good Purchase Again 09/09/2007

"Once again GE has shown that they can produce a very good product. I purchased this unit to replace one that was purchased in Texas in 1983, and had not problems with it at all. This is another well designed refigerator and very functional, I see many years of troublem free usage if it performs up to GE's regular standards."
