What's great about it: Great reception (Close to towers)
What's not so great: Di-Poles break easily
Don't believe all the hype that you need an expensive antenna to pick up HD TV. The TV signal doesn't care what type of antenna you have attached to your TV. All that matters is being able to pick up the signals. This little antenna works great if you're within close range of the broadcast towers, but that's pretty much true of any set of rabbit ears. I've tried several different rabbit ears, and these little units are quality antennas.

When I saw this on the BestBuy website, I thought this has to be too good to be true. I figured for $10, what do I have to lose, so I ordered it. It has exceeded my expectations. Some other reviewers have talked about how it does not work in a basement. I beg to differ. Mine is in a basement, nowhere near a window and I pick up the HD signals for all the major networks as well as the local stations, including the PBS affiliate. For HD major network broadcasts, this is ideal!!

What's great about it: Cost, reception
This is a very good and inexpensive off air antenna. Works just fine attached to my Dish Network DVR / LG HDTV for picking up signals when the satellite is down (stormy weather). The antenna needs to be pulled out away from the corner of the room to avoid interference from the walls but has plenty of length in the cable. Picture is excellent. Recommended.

This antenna is a super buy. It works great even with the brand new HDTV sets and obviously with the old analog, tube type tv's as well. It's even 1080p compatible. I highly recommend this antenna to anyoune.

I have one of these on every tv in my house. Picks up all local channels.
I feel good about not having an antenna outside!
Get all local channels in HD. Local cabel wanted $45.00 a month for the same thing.

What's great about it: We decided to do away with cable for the summer and here in central, IL I have been able to pick up probably 10-14 chann
What's not so great: Some channels come in with it in one spot and others won't, so have to move it.
I tried the $30 flat antennae and it didn't pick up any better than this $10 one, so we now have 2 of them. The funny thing is I didn't think about the HD part of it when I hooked to one of our tv's that never had an HD box hooked to it for cable, and the picture was so much better with the antennae since it is HD.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Instant 14 channels..no need for expensive monthly cable fees. Very affordable, with news, weather, drama in a clear resolution.. plus its easy to install.

This antenna is well worth the price. I use it for the TV tuner on my HP desktop PC and it picks up over 50 local TV stations. Many of them are HD with perfect clarity.

What's not so great: Some channels still get fuzzy or pixelate but may not be antenna's fault, rather the tv or my neighborhood.

What's great about it: Everything, especially price and functionality
This is a great product. For me it is an excellent substitute for cable TV. It cost only $10.99, and I get CBS, NBC, ABC, PBS, FOX and numerous other channels, many in foreign languages. Some of the networks broadcast in HDTV, and you can't tell the difference between a cable connection and this antenna.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Can't find cheaper and better versions at Radioshack, CVS Duane Reade or Walgreen.... This products offers great value, especially when it works so transparently. Thanks to other reviewers I've saved money and found a product that works!

What's not so great: Trial and error to find sweet spot and pick up that last station.
I looked for a highly rated item and this was near the top of the list. The top item was 9 times more expensive but it was the highest rated, albiet only 3 reviews. I read a lot of reviews for the rabit ears and it looked promising but I was still skeptical because of the affordable price. I went to the store and the sales person swayed me to purchase the highest selling product at double the price. I brought it home and it didn't do the job, but the sales person kept the myth perpetuated that it was the highest selling ite.. I took it back for the less expensive rabit ears. I added about 18 feet of coaxial cable to move it around the room and get closer to the windows. I tried it and I am impressed. I live on the first floor of an apartment building and have windows on one wall that is 90 degrees out of alignment with the towers. I am getting everything except for one low wattage PBS station 15 miles away. It works better wwithout the rabit ears extended. It seemed to help to elevate it as much as I could in my one story unit.

I've tried many antennas, both powered and non-powered, and have had terrible results, driving me back to cable. After picking up some new Apple products yesterday, I decided to ditch the cable regardless, and give this antenna a shot just for the heck of it, based on the other reviews.
Best decision I've made in a long time! I had it about 8 feet away from the window, against a wall, and picked up 19 of 24 digital channels. After moving it to the sun, 21 of 24 come in, and the one set of stations I can't get uses a low power signal, compared to all others that use high power signals.
This antenna has a pretty short built in coax cable, so be sure to get what you need to make it reach the window.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I am very impressed with this antenna. I had bought a $60 antenna for my house to receive local channels, and I was disappointed when it only picked up 2-3 (only 1 major network). So I returned it and bought this unit for a little over $10 figuring "What could it hurt?" Well, to my amazement, this solid little workhorse picked up 5-6 local channels (2 major networks) and produces like a champ. Way to go RCA! I liked it so much, I got another one for my office to get bad weather updates when needed.
