It does what it says it can do

What's great about it: Better than my roof top antenna!
What's not so great: Have to move it around for some channels (but hey, the box says so!)
"Easy to assamble. Receives 27 Digital channel versus the 2 channels I get with my building's roof top antenna's. Everything that the box says the antenna can do, is true. Recommendation: If your converter box has a way to measure antenna reception strength, use it to find the best location for your antenna. Then run the channel scan. The first time I ran the scan without doing this I got 23 channels; then I reposition the antenna and reran the scan and go 27 channels!"

Wow, not bad!

What's great about it: Price
What's not so great: Ugly
"Great performance for the price...disclaimer: I can SEE the towers over the trees from my 2nd floor so I'd be appalled if it didn't get good reception! Got this as a back up to our Dish VIP722 when it's either loaded down with DVR events or if we have a weather disturbance I can switch to HD locals...frankly, over-the-air looks better than the locals over Dish (less compression) so when I'm watching the locals I'll most likely use the antenna! So glad there's an option at this price point."

What's great about it: Really inexpensive
What's not so great: Need to adjust for different channels
"Amazing price for the quality. I didn't belive it could be so easy to leave Cable behind. This product just plugs into my Dynex "32 Flat Panel HDTV and I have over 39 channels to watch in High Definition. Wow"

What's great about it: Pulls down off-air HD channels with no problem, very affordable
What's not so great: none
"VERY easy to assemble and it does just what it's advertised to do...pull down off-air HD channels. Tried this antenna on all three of my HD TVs and it works great! The HD channels come in crystal clear with no issues. What more can you ask for?"

What's great about it: Clear picture
What's not so great: Non
"I purchased this antenna for the TV in the basement. I did not expect the picture to come in as clear as it does. It looks like I have cable TV in the basement. I get all (five) local channels for our area. The antenna is connected to the DTV converter box."

What's great about it: Cheap
What's not so great: Coaxial cable doesn't have tight fit
"Good antenna for the price but not the best. I works great for 10 bucks. I was able to get about 15 channels (not all HD)."

Cheap & Good

What's great about it: Works great for my digital tv set
What's not so great: Not good for analog tv set
"I live around DT Seattle and the products works great for my HDTV with digital tuner. If your TV has digital-to-analog TV converter box or a built-in digital tuner, this product works great. The analog channels' quality was not so good. So, if you still want to use your analog TV set, I recommend you go get digital-to-analog TV converter."

Terrific Value for NYC
09/22/2008
By NYCDave

What's great about it: Low price, functionality
What's not so great: rabbit ears cannot lie flat - only stick up
"I live in a NYC high-rise apt. w/o a master antenna. I have thus been a cable slave, because analog reception is impossibly bad. But I have 2 digital TV's, and all you need is this cheap antenna to pull in all free HD broadcast digital signals. Digital is an either/or proposition: either you get it, perfectly, or you get nothing. Time Warner Cable charges $55/month for limited basic cable for one set. Really?? How did that happen? Meanwhile, more and more shows are available on iTunes or rental DVD or right on the websites of these channels. So what am I paying for? Goodbye to cable, at least for now. Maybe when they offer really good value, I'll go back."

What's great about it: Works great, cheap
What's not so great: None
"I sold my amplified indoor antenna thinking that I'd never need a TV antenna again. Well, I did, and bought this. It works just as well, no amp required. I left off the rabbit ears since I only watch UHF channels so the antenna is nice and compact. If you can't use an outdoor antenna, start with this one. Mine is plugged into an AutumnWave USB HDTV tuner which I also recommend."

Great low cost antenna

What's great about it: For the price you can't beat it.
What's not so great: Why didn't I get one sooner?
"One great little antenna! I got this because I discontinued my Direct TV and didn’t want to spend a lot of money for one of the amplified ones. I did have some reservations as to how well it would work with the analog signal but decided to try it anyway. I have a mountain between the antenna and the TV towers located on South Mountain about 15-20 miles away. The signal was OK for most of the analog channels but there were a couple that were still fuzzy for this antenna, guess it was the mountain in the way but I learned to live with it. Then I got the Insignia NS-DXA1-APT digital converter box, hooked it up to this little indoor antenna and WOW!! What a difference!!!! This little antenna works so good with the converter box it is fantastic!!!! I went from 11 channels to 28 channels and they are all perfectly crisp and clear and the sound is great!!! Even the ones that were fuzzy are perfect. If you don’t want to spend a lot of money for an outdoor antenna or one of the high priced amplified indoor ones this one works just great with the converter box."

This Antenna Is the Real Deal

What's great about it: Easy connection
What's not so great: 75-ohm coaxial connector cable is very short
"I purchased three of these RCA antennas and they work perfectly. I'm able to pick up over 20 over-the air broadcasts (digital and analog) with this antenna. All the television stations are located within 36 miles from my home. All the antennas are connected to televisions on the second floor of my home. I use two of them with a Digital Stream TV converter box and the other one connected to a 19-inch LCD HDTV. I would recommend this antenna--there's a reason why I own three of them!"

Got the Best Buy Bang for MY Buck!!!

What's great about it: Much cheaper than other models considered, Price can't be beat, Very simple to hookup..instructions not needed
What's not so great: Unable to find any at this time...perhaps a heavier base?
"I read all the reviews yesterday before deciding on this purchase. I'm too cheap to pay for Time Warner cable that should be free in the first place and I'm certainly not going to pay more for an antenna that does the same thing as a lower priced model. This little beauty was very simple to hook-up (no instructions necessary) and pulls in all the stations that I wanted and then some! I'm watching the Olympics Closing Ceremony and OMG...I feel like I'm there!!! The TV that I purchased to pair up with this antenna is the Insignia NS-LCD22-09. The two together do an awesome job. Also, if you haven't explored the pick up at the store option, I recommend it whole heartedly. Although I had to drive to two different Best Buys to complete my order, I was back home in just over an hour...piece of cake!!
I'm a happy camper with this purchase."

Works Great For Price!

What's great about it: Picks up all but one local station.
What's not so great: Doen't pick that one station! But keep reading I found a solution!
"This unit works much better than I had thought that it would. I read all the spec. on what type of antenna to use in my area & it said that I needed an Directional Outside Antenna. Where I live we are prone to lighting strikes---an outside antenna was out of the question. This one works great!!! I mounted it on a pole behind the TV & made the pole where I could rotate it. Now when I wish to watch the one station that it didn't get it comes in fine. I see no need for the higher price models."

What's great about it: cheap and easy
"i bought this model and another rca "amplified" model (ant525 i think), and this small, light and cheap model was the big winner. this $10 unit pulled in 5 channels initially, the other "amplified" unit only pulled 4. i hooked this unit back up and scanned again to pull 7 channels, all the ones we were looking for."
