Excellent Ceiling Speakers

I will say that I am not an audiophile... I installed 6 of these in my ceiling for my home theater. I added them to a Polk sub and center and Yamaha deck for a full 7.1 environment. They fill the room with crisp clarity. Compared to my theater in a box system from another company, these really rock. Install was a breeze (I was pre-wired for them). Just put the template on the ceiling and cut the circle around it and you have a perfect hole. The paint gaurds are nice if you want to paint the grill and flange. However, for a 6" speaker, you have to cut an 8" hole. Make sure you have enough ceiling space that they are not too close together.
What's great about it: Crisp clear sound and eaze of install
What's not so great: Nothing...

I needed new speakers to replace my bookshelf B & W's as they did not fit in the new living room. Based on other reviews I decided to give them a try. I setup four speakers for the home theater experience.
They sound great.. Clear and Crisp as well as a solid performer. Paired with a good subwoofer makes this an incredible setup and performer. They blow away speaker systems that are based on markerting (BOSE) vs. quality speakers.
Installation was easy. Would def. buy these again.
What's great about it: Price, Solid Performer
What's not so great: NA

Simple to install. From start to finish, the wife and I had two of these and two of the rectangle pairs installed in an hour. Great sound.

I have these paired with a 5.1Yamaha HDTV compatible receiver. Each speaker receives approx. 100 watts of peak power (roughly 50 watts RMS). These are clear, precise, and loud. Excellent value in my book. Yamaha created a solid product here.
What's great about it: Bang for your buck
What's not so great: If you want to blow your ear drums out, you will have to pay more

Wanted ceiling speaker's for hallway. The final appearance is very nice and almost blending un-noticeable with other fixtures. Very easy to install with the exception for the standard attic crawl. When installing the cover grill use care not to bend, once mounted almost totally flush with ceiling. The sound quality is excellent!
What's great about it: Installation ease, excellent price.
What's not so great: None

These speakers sound better than the more expensive speakers I have installed elsewhere in my home. Very nice treble and mid range. The woofer design is tilted so it is directional which is great. The treble and mid range direction are adjustable. When istalling the grill, push on the very edge to avoid denting it.
What's great about it: These speakers sound fantastic.
What's not so great: Be careful when installing the speaker grill. It dents easily
