What's great about it: Very easy set-up, Sound quality is spot-on!
What's not so great: None

"These speakers were to replace the internal speakers on my monitor.
The sound quality is very crisp w/ good bass tones. They pretty much turned my computer room into a nice entertainment center. The grandkids can now watch their movies w/ surround sound effects.

I highly recommend these for anyone who wants to improve their sound quality.

What's great about it: Loud, small, Iphone Connection
What's not so great: The satellites were bad quality, lots of wires!!

"These speakers would be great if the right side speaker didn't make its own noise (nails of blackboard) when using it. I tried all possible settings and it kept making the same noise. I got goose bumps, it is back at the store."

What's great about it: This speaker set was easy to set up, sounds GREAT, bass has great power to it,
What's not so great: nothing at this point

"I opened it up and saw everything. Set it up, and whamo! It works great right out of the box! Sounds excellent! The bass has really good power to it, (there is a volume knob just for the subwoofer on the back). One bad thing is that when you plug in headphones, the volume knob on the speakers don't work for it. Your headphones have to have its own volume control. Which isn't really that much of an issue with my gaming headset, (because it has its own volume control system) but for those just wanting to plug in their own headphones, I warn you about this problem ahead of time.)
Overall, This speaker set is great!"

What's great about it: Easy setup,great price,MP3 dock,good sound quality
What's not so great: MP3 Dock(kinda generic,but works)

"Just purchased these speakers tonight.I was kinda hesitant about the MP3 dock,I have a Sylvania MP3 player and didn`t know if it would work.It comes with a short cable that attaches to the headphone jack on the MP3 player,but won`t sit on the little "pullout shelf" on the dock.

All in all,I`m very satisfied withe sound and quality of this product.For $40,it`s a good deal."

What's great about it: Great quality sound for the money - I use them to augment TV sound for music channels
What's not so great: Nothing so far

"I was looking for an inexpensive solution to improve sound quality for music channels from our satellite TV service. Our Toshiba HD TV, like most, has OK sound for TV programs which are mostly voice, but was totally unsatisfactory for music. Our older model boombox does not have an auxiliary input. We were not prepared to go the whole 9 yards for a home theatre system for our small seasonal abode here in Florida. For $40 on sale, this system does the job very well. The modulated audio output from the TV can be input to the X-240 system with an RCA dual phono plug to mini-stereo cable ($8 at Radio Shack), thereby enabling overall volume control through the remote. The sub-woofer has a separate volume control, so you can vary the ratio of bass to treble. And the control unit has an on-off switch and volume control so you can vary the ratio of TV to X-240 volume. It even has an adapter cable to allow the use of an MP3 player as input. While it would probably not be a satisfactory solution to a real audiophile, it certainly improves the quality of music from our TV, particularly at the lower frequencies."

"If you are in doubt of getting this, don't doubt. Even though its only 2 speakers with a sub woofer, its very powerful. The bass on it is great and you can play an i-pod with it. and the sound is very loud. its great for desktop computers. great job logitech!"

What's great about it: Cheap but sound very high quality
What's not so great: Nothing

"There should not be one negative review on these speakers. For the price, I think they might be the best money can buy. Cheap, look great with my black macbook, and very good bass. Minimum design makes them more appealing. I recommend these to anybody who owns a mac (terrible stock sound) or anyone who has an office or den and wants to fill the room."

What's great about it: Fine sound, strong bass
What's not so great: RF noise, cheap iPod dock

"Hooked these up when I got home and was very happy with the sound of my music. However, I noticed that even when the cable was not attached to the computer I could hear low volume music from the speakers. Turns out that they were picking up AM radio from somewhere. Also noticed a "hum" when the power is on. The iPod dock is very flimsy. It's really just a shelf that you have to pull out to rest your iPod on. Seems like it would be easily broken.
Can only give two stars because I had to return them because of the RF noise."

"I was shopping for some good speakers really looking for Bose but i noticed these logitech it came with 2 speakers & a subwook w/ mp3 player dock really like that it sounded real low in the store once i connected @ home it sounds like i have a sorround system"

"When I went to Best Buy I intended on buying a computer and monitor, but after a little talk with the Geek Squad I decided to buy a more expensive computer and monitor. Well I also spent a little more on the speakers too.

These are AWESOME speakers. Granted they are not the best, but I didn't expect to get Bose quality for the price I paid.

If you are on a tight budget, adn you want real good quality sound these are the speakers for you. Make sure to go to the display and listen to all of the different speakers and you will discover as I did these provide the best bang for the buck."

"I was uneasy about getting a set of speakers with a subwoofer, but you can control the bass on it (there's a knob on the back) so I can turn it completely off, although I've found I like it to have a little bass, which I didn't expect. Your computer controls the EQ on the small speakers, and I set it on a setting with no bass then turned on the subwoofer. AMAZING RESULTS! I would recommend this to EVERYONE! Even over BOSE :)

The sound is unbeatable... I am completely satisfied! A+ Logitech!!!"

"Ive enjoyed this set for several months now,I love it!! Ive had em for about 6 months... when I went to go buy it, I had two things in mind, find one under 100 dollars (Just my computer speakers) , and a good sound with bass.
I spend a good hour and a half listening to all the Computer speakers they had available at BB. This one out perfomred 5 speaker set-ups for double the price!!!! I listened and re-listened to several and was blown away how this one was so crisp and clean. Now that its in my room, I can hear the bass from one or TWO rooms over ratteling the walls from that sub tiny box, and not turned up so loud (dont worry you can adjust the bass all serperatly) haha....
It sounds super crisp, clean and sounds like a system that costs 2x, 3x times more.. BUY IT!!!!! its absolutlly worth the price.!!
My favorite feature........, which others didnt have... Is the IPOD tower, its stand alone feature that allows you to plug in your ipod directly on the bass, dont have to plug it into your computer!! Comes with all kinds of differnt attachments so you can run your power, or usb cable underneath and charge it, and/or plug it into your computer at the same time.... Others did not have this feature!!!! I absolutly love these speakers, and I am a huge critic of clean sounding music!!!!!! BUY THEM! especially if you have an IPOD!!"

"did a lot of checking, want the best cheaper speakers money can buy.........these have good specs, high S/N ratio......they sound very good, enuf bass by turning up bass volume on back, & very clean sounding....however, noticed a muffling of high end (no tweeters, turns out), & this accents the vocals too much...........probably can adjust out if sound card control panel has equalizer..........think I'll try another set or 2, but not ruling these out......BTW, paid $35 for them........"

What's not so great: sound quality, mp3 player "dock"

"went to see it in the store and it sounded worse than any other one there. The speakers sounded muffled. I kept switching between this set and every other set they had a demo for and all the other ones sounded clearer and crisper. I have no idea why this can cost so much either. Also the "dock" was little more then a flimsy plastic piece that slides out so you can set an mp3 player on."

"I myself am an adovocate for bass in good sound system. However I beleive that logitech could have done a little better job with eliminating the appearance of all the wires, it looks a lot more organized when you can mask or hide the wires of a system."
