No way to attach it to the monitor

What's not so great: I've spent an hour trying to attach it to monitor but had to return in.
"I could not use it. I've trie countless time to put it securely in a place and to direct it the way I can be seen by my friends. No luck! Finaly I've returned it back"

What's great about it: affordable, easy to set up
What's not so great: audio did not synch up w/my lips, dim background
"After reading reviews, I ordered 3 of these online - two presents and one for myself. Luckily, I tested mine out first. I have a fairly dark livingroom, which is where I'd be doing most of my Skyping - this webcam definately made it look dark. It looked grainy too. I could have lived with that, but after testing it, I found that the audio did not synch up with my lips - that would have bothered me like crazy! I returned all three (thankyou, Best Buy for making that part easy). After testing 3 Logitechs and an HP, I found the Logitech Pro 9000 - great picture (clear, bright, could keep up with movements) and great audio that kept up with me too. Sorry, I have to disagree with all the positive comments out there. I do however, have to agree with the other comments regarding the clip that hooks it onto the computer - garbage!"

What's great about it: easy set up, simple to use, great pic

"it is great to have it after i searching on line and read many reviews.
finally decided logitech and px is in the mid, looks pretty too.
The only thing i was not think too much is that is designed for a laptop only, and i bought it for my desktop, so i have to add some extra pc to set it up BUT it works well anyway.
i will buy another one send to my mom, which will be cliped on laptop for better position it should be."

What's great about it: Very good value at $40
What's not so great: Video quality can be a tiny bit choppy.
"Make SURE that you follow directions that say not to plug in webcam before software is installed and prompts you to do so. I did my initial config the wrong way and most of the features of the webcam were not available PLUS the video quality was really bad. Took the time to actually read a "READ ME" document, removed software and re-installed. The difference was amazing. Vista probably installed a generic webcam driver that was subpar. Overall a real good webcam for the $$$."

What's great about it: Great video quality, excellent sound
What's not so great: The mounting clamp has a hard time staying on
"This webcam has great picture quality and excellent sound in the microphone and speakers. I would definitely recommend for using Skype or any messaging service. However the clamp slips off of the top of my laptop alot."

What's great about it: picture quality=amazing, sound quality=amazing, easy setup, great clip, great for everyday use
What's not so great: the carrying case...it could be a bit bigger and thicker, but who cares?
"I did a lot of research before buying my webcam and I finally decided on this one. I'm really happy with my choice and I seriously don't understand why there are some bad comments on this : / I have a compaq presario cq60 running on Windows Vista Home, so basically a normal old notebook. First off, great packaging=no painful plastic paper cuts ftw! The wobbly clip commotion going on is totally unneeded because the clip held onto my screen perfectly and does not wobble. Also, it wont scratch your glossy notebook. installation couldn't have been simpler. It took me about 30 minutes. The only reason it took that long because my usb port had a brainfart and decided it didn't want to work so the microphone wasn't working. Plugged it into a new usb port and voila! perfection! When I opened up the software, I was surprised by how easy it was to use. Really good setting options. Image quality is pretty legit and great for vlogs, quick pictures (skrew photobooth), and skype. Really can't ask for much else. The only reason I gave video quality a 4 is because there are better models, but this will suit your needs if all you're doing is everyday stuff. Top of the line webcam. Go treat yourself to something nice :]"

Greatest Webcam for Skipe users

What's great about it: This webcam works great with Skipe and is very user friendly ,I travel alot and this will help me keep in touch .
What's not so great: N/A
"I have tried various webcams along with Instant messenger services and they just didnt cut it. I travel alot and so I gave it one more shot . My bussiness associates recommended Skipe so I went a researched webcams and picked this one, and set it up with Skipe and it is awesome.
It installed without any issues and even had a selection to download Skipe which installed the latest version and I am ready to go!! It also comes with a nice carrying pouch.Very Nice! I am going to be handing these out for Christmas presents to friends and family.
I highly recommend this webcam!

"This webcam is great compared to the cheap $40 Microsoft Life-Cam VX-3000. That thing had the worst video footage ever. This camera may be a little more expensive but trust me This is a great camera. It's easy to set up, easy to use, and shoots great footage."

What's great about it: Built in mic, easy to install/setup, clear picture
"My first web cam purchase and I am completely satisfied. It was super easy to install and setup. It works with Windows Live Messenger, which I use. I love the built in mic feature, so then i didn't have to purchase a mic seperately. The picture and sound are great. The video never looks choppy. There are setting to adjust for the light - and it can also do face tracking."
