What's great about it: xbox live
What's not so great: everything else about it

"The x box 360 is not even worth getting anymore. For the exact same price you can get a ps3 with blue ray. X box 360 doesn't offer an of that stuff. IT is a pain buying live membership just for playing online. They cant do anything i cant even download a game and play at the same time. plus the only good x box exclusive is gears of war and halo the rest is a waste. IF u were to choose between a ps3 and 360 get a ps3 way better than an x box. I am an owner of an x box elite I'm going to sell it in my yard sale for 1 dollar because it is so useless . PlayStation 3 has way more capacity in doing stuff and is what a gamer should get."

What's great about it: stylish, graphics,

"This is a great console for your money. The "Pro" console is not worth getting, when this "Elite" console has way more GB's. This console (not spacific to the Elite console) has great graphics and is very functional with all of the things you can do with it. You can put your music on it, you can put movies on it, play games, play online and much more. As far as the "Red Ring", I have had my Xbox for more than 2 years and as long as you take care of your system, it will last a long time! If your certain Xbox does happen to have a problem, then there is a extended 3 year warranty."

"Ok, I've had my 360 for not even a year now and right now i just got the red ring, Microsoft still hasn't done their job on limiting the heat that the 360 produces.

On the other hand, its great with graphics and everything else works like a charm."

"In my opinion the Xbox 360 hasn't been given enough credit. I'm no fanboy but every system is going to have a flaw but people don't put that to perspective. I've had my Xbox 360 elite for about 2 yrs and I havn't had any problems with overheating or the three rings of death. Overall this is the best next Gen system out there!!"

"well, now that microsoft has fixed the red ring of death issue, all i can say is that this system is absolutly amazing. 1 bad thing though, you have to pay for xbox live! but buy it its amazing!"

What's great about it: so many things and the 3 years warranty no one can beat that.
What's not so great: wi fi

"I have 2 xbox 360. The first one since launch and have the rod 2 days before the 3 years warranty,send it to ms get it back in 8 days, is like having a new one steal running good. The second one by the beginning of July and no problems, i love this system the controls and everything else , ps3 to me is OK but I prefer the xbox hands down, let me tell you that I own the ps3 and the wii just in cases"

"I have 3 x box 360 my first one i got 2 years ago and its still running strong
the other two 1 year ago still running strong i think the problem with people that get the red ring of death is they think they can leave it on the shelf and let it collect dust i dust mine off once in awhile i have no complaints on this product i highly recommend this product i also have a ps3 and between the two im having the most problem with the ps3 blu ray is good but what good is blu ray if you cant make it work with HDMI cable if you read this message GO WITH X BOX 360 you wont regret it screw the failure rate any system breaks it depends how u use it and treat it oh yeah and people are crying that x box price went down $100 but it doesnt come with HDMI cable the ps3 doesnt come with the HDMI cable to so they are both the same i guess we have to buy one"

What's great about it: Xbox Live Marketplace Is Nice, Graphics are great, Price is Right.
What's not so great: Red Ring Of Death, Short Battery Life In Wireless Controllers, Too Many Little Kids Online.

"The Xbox 360 Elite Is A Good Console, It Has Great Graphics And Xbox Live Is As Well. The Reason I Wouldn't Get This Item Is That Your Pretty Much Paying $300 For A 3 Year Plan For Sheer Enjoyment And Once You Hit That 2nd Or 3rd
Year You Have A 54% That Your Xbox Will Get The Red Ring Of Death, I Should Know Because I Had The Very Same Thing Happen To Me And It's Happening Across The World. Some It Has Happened As Early As Of ONLY 3 MONTHS, What I Would Recommend Is The New PS3 120 GB Slim Instead Of This, You Would Be Wasting Your Money If You Purchase An Xbox. Especially When PS3 Has Way More Exclusives Than Xbox As Well, PS3 EVEN MADE XBOX DROP THEIR PRICES, ...PS3 Has Xbox By The Balls Now."

What's great about it: well the Xbox360 is a good gaming system with great graphics... good price
What's not so great: u have to pay alot extra to make the game system even worth playing!!!

"i have this game system and the graphics are great... the online play is also great...

i have to say that in my experience with this xbox360 or any xbox360 for that matter is terrible... i have never met a person who has an xbox that does not need to get a new one or have already had about 2 or 3 of them because they all die!!.. i have had two and they just over heat and get the red ring of death... and to make this system even worth the money u have to buy something to connect to an online source via ethernet or wireless connection.. which is gonna set u back $100. so there the system is automatically 400 bucks... and then u have to pay to get a membership from microsoft to even be able to play online.. and the best deal for that is $50 for one year.. or get the shorter ones for less money but in the year u will end up paying more than $50 for it...so there its $450 for the system...when u can get mostly the same online play from a ps3 for free!!... not to mention the money u have to spend to buy the games themselves!!

so if you r not an online gamer this is a great system to buy! but its nowhere near as fun to play games offline!!"

"The ps3 cant even campare 2 the xbox 360. First off their is like 500 great games.The best graphics on any system, i would know since i have ps3 and wii.the controller is only heavy if you r not used to it.Yes, i know thry fail alot, but if it does all you gotta do is go down to bestbuy snd they will give u a brand new one, i have done it 3 times.They dont over heat anymore and they are about as loud as the ps3.xbox live is well worth 50 dollars a year since, u can do basically any thing u want on live.like buy games, rent movies, game addons, and the best online game play for any system ever made.If u cant afford 50 dollars a year dont even buy one or complain.ps3 online sucks bad...oh and i like how that reta#d down like 5 reviews is like an xbox cost 299 with out an harddrive, ya well it does"

What's great about it: great for collecting dust as you play a ps3
What's not so great: i cook eggs on it becuase it gets so hot, no wifi so i am forced to either spend 100 dollars or play next to the router

"i wanted to buy a next gen system. so i went to bestbuy and saw an xbox and was like oooo thats nice. then i went and saw a ps3 and its $300 for a system that has wi-fi, bluray, and rechargable controllers(i want to save the environment by not using disposable batteries). the ps3 just seems like a better deal it has a big hdd that you can replace with any laptop hdd so you dont have to buy expensive microsoft products that rip you off. The games on the xbox are all shooters and you have to play online and its not different than psn's free service they offer. thats my input, so if you are looking to buy a new system i would look between the two systems to see which one fits your needs better, but if you need to spend more money, not get wifi, not have a bluray player, and to pay for an online service then i guess the xbox is for you."

What's great about it: Communicating, fast, smooth and fluid OS, some games.
What's not so great: OVERPRICED, fees, loud, heats up fast, heavy controller, too many ADD-ONS

"Okay, so I bought a 360 thinking it would be great since lots of my friends had one.
I WAS WRONG.

This machine was poorly made in my opinion. Yes, it has a nice design-I admit. But, it overheats FAST and it's loud while on. There are also too many add-ons that are overpriced. Wi-fi is $100, bigger hardrive is $100 and it's also limited. Controller has the analogs weirdly positioned, but it's okay. The rumble is WAYY to over-produced. There's no control over it. Also it's heavy and runs on batteries. LAME.

You may look at this machine thinking it's cheap and sells good out of the 3 systems. It's not. In the end you're LOSING MONEY.
LETS COMPARE IT WITH THE NEW LOW PRICE PS3.
