What's great about it: graphics
What's not so great: almost everything

"this console is such a disappointment. i lost 4 xboxs to the 3 red rings, and 3 more to freezing problems and errors before i got the elite. you need to pay 50 $ to play online, which i think is sick. because you can play online for the ps3 for free, and it doesnt look like there is any difference between ps3 online and xbox live. the xbox also makes a ton of noise, i think my ps2 makes less noise then this. however the xbox has great graphics, and great games, halo 3, left 4 dead, and gears of war are the greatest games i have ever played. but the negatives out number the positives, i will be getting the ps3 very soon"

What's great about it: Good pricing, and wireless controlers
What's not so great: it gets overheat fast, need internet adaptor, needs to replace batteries everytime

"I hate Xbox 360 because you have to buy Microsoft cards to play online, and you need to buy internet adaptor, also your console gets overheated when you play all day 12 or 18 hours of playing, and you need to replace your batteries everytime it rans out. I recommend to all the people has Xbox 360 to switch to PS3 (PLAYSTATION 3) because PS3 has the very outstanding performance in gaming. In the Playstation 3 you can play movies HI-DEF with BLUE-RAY, play music anytime you want, put high quality photos on it or even videos and PS3 has a built in rechargeable battery inside the controller and if you want to recharge it, just connect the USB cord , simple it that. In PS3 you can buy stuff at PLAYSTATION STORE (PSS) like adds-on,demo,or games for your PS3 or PSP, but you also need to put money on your wallet or your account so you can be able to buy at PSS, some of the adds-on and games are free, so you dont have to worry about loosing your money. I like PS3 because you dont have to worry about internet adaptor or cards just to play online, PS3 has the best performance gaming console ever, and its not true that the PS3 gets overheated after playing for 2 hours, i can prove that because i have used it for 15 hours of playing online non-stop, so it's very not true that it gets overheated that quick. I've been have my PS3 for almost 2 years from now, and i never ever have a problem of it, i'm only having problem with my router because i bought the cheap one at wal-mart(no offense). PS3 has everything. i'm not trying to ruined the reputation of the Xbox 360, and i'm not saying that don't buy that console because the Xbox 360 has a poor performances and stuff, i'm just saying that PS3 has the best perfomance in gaming and other stuff ever. What's great about it: Looks great,and doesn't break easily
What's not so great: Does not come with hard drive memory transfer cable for people upgrading from an earlier model

"I think this item is an overall 5 star exept I don't think the price is fair for not coming with a memory transfering cable, because I kicked my last xbox 360 in a BS game of halo and I had to buy another so I picked this up, but I have to continue to use my 20GB hard drive because this one doesn't come with a transfer cable nor can you get one without buying a seperate 120 GB HD, besides that it looks great, runs great, and I'm not having any problems with it."

What's great about it: All
What's not so great: Only the wireless, because you had to buy an adaptor

"I have this console, but it isn't my first, my first Xbox 360 runned good for 2 years and i sell it to buy a elite, this consoles have only a problem: the wireless conection needs an adaptor to function, but i enter in contact with the Microsoft suport and they say they cant put the adaptor in the console because it can overheat an cause a few probelms, and it's because this you have to buy an external adaptor.
My console is working very good, and i'm a fan of the Xbox, i have one since the first Xbox to the Xbox 360 and all my xboxes never broken or scratched.
I recomend the Xbox 360 to all the peoples here, but don't buy the PS3 because it is very bad, the HD brokens easly and it overheat with 2 hours of gameplay."

"If I was a console tester I would have added a mouse and keyboard.In 1st person shooters runnig sux cause you have to push the joystick down you can't run ,jump and shoot at the same time.You have no controll on button setup.It wouldn't as bad If you could use LB as sprint and RB as jump.But you get what they decide and that blows. Microsoft took a great product and messed up with the dumbest controller setup ever.For 1st person shooters I'll stick with my pc.Now all I have is a 300 dollar console that I only play race games on.Shame on you microsoft."

"The x box 360 is not even worth getting anymore. For the exact same price you can get a ps3 with blue ray. X box 360 doesn't offer an of that stuff. IT is a pain buying live membership just for playing online. They cant do anything i cant even download a game and play at the same time. plus the only good x box exclusive is gears of war and halo the rest is a waste. IF u were to choose between a ps3 and 360 get a ps3 way better than an x box. I am an owner of an x box elite I'm going to sell it in my yard sale for 1 dollar because it is so useless . PlayStation 3 has way more capacity in doing stuff and is what a gamer should get."

"This is a great console for your money. The "Pro" console is not worth getting, when this "Elite" console has way more GB's. This console (not spacific to the Elite console) has great graphics and is very functional with all of the things you can do with it. You can put your music on it, you can put movies on it, play games, play online and much more. As far as the "Red Ring", I have had my Xbox for more than 2 years and as long as you take care of your system, it will last a long time! If your certain Xbox does happen to have a problem, then there is a extended 3 year warranty."

"Ok, I've had my 360 for not even a year now and right now i just got the red ring, Microsoft still hasn't done their job on limiting the heat that the 360 produces.

On the other hand, its great with graphics and everything else works like a charm."

"In my opinion the Xbox 360 hasn't been given enough credit. I'm no fanboy but every system is going to have a flaw but people don't put that to perspective. I've had my Xbox 360 elite for about 2 yrs and I havn't had any problems with overheating or the three rings of death. Overall this is the best next Gen system out there!!"

What's great about it: so many things and the 3 years warranty no one can beat that.

"I have 2 xbox 360. The first one since launch and have the rod 2 days before the 3 years warranty,send it to ms get it back in 8 days, is like having a new one steal running good. The second one by the beginning of July and no problems, i love this system the controls and everything else , ps3 to me is OK but I prefer the xbox hands down, let me tell you that I own the ps3 and the wii just in cases"

"I have 3 x box 360 my first one i got 2 years ago and its still running strong
the other two 1 year ago still running strong i think the problem with people that get the red ring of death is they think they can leave it on the shelf and let it collect dust i dust mine off once in awhile i have no complaints on this product i highly recommend this product i also have a ps3 and between the two im having the most problem with the ps3 blu ray is good but what good is blu ray if you cant make it work with HDMI cable if you read this message GO WITH X BOX 360 you wont regret it screw the failure rate any system breaks it depends how u use it and treat it oh yeah and people are crying that x box price went down $100 but it doesnt come with HDMI cable the ps3 doesnt come with the HDMI cable to so they are both the same i guess we have to buy one"

Year You Have A 54% That Your Xbox Will Get The Red Ring Of Death, I Should Know Because I Had The Very Same Thing Happen To Me And It's Happening Across The World. Some It Has Happened As Early As Of ONLY 3 MONTHS, What I Would Recommend Is The New PS3 120 GB Slim Instead Of This, You Would Be Wasting Your Money If You Purchase An Xbox. What's great about it: well the Xbox360 is a good gaming system with great graphics... good price
What's not so great: u have to pay alot extra to make the game system even worth playing!!!

"i have this game system and the graphics are great... the online play is also great...

i have to say that in my experience with this xbox360 or any xbox360 for that matter is terrible... i have never met a person who has an xbox that does not need to get a new one or have already had about 2 or 3 of them because they all die!!.. i have had two and they just over heat and get the red ring of death... and to make this system even worth the money u have to buy something to connect to an online source via ethernet or wireless connection.. which is gonna set u back $100. so there the system is automatically 400 bucks... and then u have to pay to get a membership from microsoft to even be able to play online.. and the best deal for that is $50 for one year.. or get the shorter ones for less money but in the year u will end up paying more than $50 for it...so there its $450 for the system...when u can get mostly the same online play from a ps3 for free!!... not to mention the money u have to spend to buy the games themselves!!

so if you r not an online gamer this is a great system to buy! but its nowhere near as fun to play games offline!!"
