"Why buy a system that dosn't have blue ray? Also why would you want to pay for internet? I just returned this thing and got a Ps3 and I'm very happy witht the purchase. Although it's a nice system it dosn't please me and many others."

wii: just Wario, Samus, Ike, Pit, Mario, Link, Kirby, Pikachu, Fox, Zelda, Bowser, Donkey Kong and Yoshi, that is for kids
ps3: cool, bluray, but doesn't have many games, and the incopatibility nivel is terrible.

"Now that the Pro systems have HDMI ports, the only major benefits of getting the Elite are the larger hard drive and the black finish. I believe both of these features are important, though I'm sure not everyone needs them. I quickly put more than 20 gb of data on my hard drive (which is all the pro system can handle), and the black finish matches the rest of the components in my tv stand. I would only recommend this version of the xbox to those who believe they will download lots of xbox arcade games, demos, tv shows, and movies like I do."

What's great about it: Huge Hard Drive, HDMI What's not so great: nothing
"This is the best version of the best system on the market. The 120 Gb hard drive is basically impossible to fill up and is a lot mor convenient than the 20Gb version. You can put tons of your music on the system to make custom soundtracks for all the games you play. The only real down side to this system wuld be the price commpared to the other 360s but the hard drive alone makes it worth the extra cash. Like I said this is the best System and is deffinetly worth buying."

What's great about it: Good graphics, cool design, nice features What's not so great: Noisy, only HD DVD option so far, the black case is not exactly black
"I like the system a lot but it is way too noisy. It gets annoying sometimes. The black case is not exactly black, it's more like a very dark gray/faded black. Besides that, never had any problems so far. Never had a Playstation 3 so I cannot compare the 2. I went for the 360 and I don't regret it. I just wish they came out with a blueray external player for it since HD DVD is dead."

"We bought this for our 15 yr old son for his birthday - he loves it and we have had no problems. My older son who is a "gamer" suggested getting this xbox as it has more memory. I would also advise purchasing the extended warranty, then the whole system would be replaced within one year if there were problems."

"This is the best purchase I have ever made my friend has an xbox 360 and guitar hero 3 and he brings his guitar over and we play rock band for hours and hours and houuuuuurs it is away better purchase then the ps3 i bought one 2 months ago and this is all the bad things1. xbox live is more user friendly 2.you have to wait get an extra guitar for rockband"

"only difference between the elite and the pro is the color and the hard drive. However, the elite comes with the HDMI cable. After 4 months my elite broke down but I just called Microsoft and they sent a box for me to send it in and a week later they sent a new 360."

"If you're going to buy a new Xbox 360 and have the cash, BUY THIS VERSION! The added massive 120 GB hard drive is more than enough for downloading your favorite games, tv shows and movies! The Xbox 360 premium used to carry the media remote but no longer, only the Elite has it now also. Besides that an HDMI cable is included and the console has a slick black look. The only things this console is missing is a built in HD DVD or wifi, however you can purchase those seperately, and working out the price is still less than buying a blu ray or HD DVD player on it's own. It's worth it to rather buy this system instead of a premium and then upgrade the hard drive, for you save a bundle by just buying the Elite. So far mine hasn't had any problems whatsoever, no overheating or anything, it simply performs great!"

What's great about it: Overall it has amazing power and the space is amazing. What's not so great: Fairly expensive and HDDVD is phasing out.
"The XBOX 360 Elite has the best HDMI connection out there, tested and proved. Between personal use and Game Informer™ reviews I believe the Elite packs a nice punch with an increased hard drive, better power and the sleek black matte. The biggest feature to the console itself is the games you can play on it. With enough cooling to even itself out with it's lesser models all you need to do is add a cooling system and you're set. On top of that XBOX Live has lived up to the hype with updates, game content downloads and multi-player capabilities are unmatched. Unfortunately HDDVD seems to have lost the high-def DVD war making it's all-around"ness" less appealing than the PS3."

What's great about it: Great lag-free gaming, big hard drive, HDMI output, LOTS of good games out. What's not so great: No HD DVD or Blu Ray. Startup seems to take a bit longer than the regular 360.
"A great system! I've had all of the new systems out (Wii, PS3, 360) and decided to keep this system because of online play and game selection. This system has not yet frozen on me during long game sessions. The hard drive is pretty big. You just store your stuff and use it as a media player, or stream from your computer via media connect. The slow startup is just a minor problem to me. I just hit the power button and get some food/drinks while the console loads. Also, I've had my system on deployment with me, out in Iraq. I feared the sandstorms would mess things up, and I would have to go through the hassle of shipping it back to the US. It still runs like a champ! Overall, a great buy and highly recommended."

"Other than the fact that the system is on the pricey end, it is the perfect machine for new comers into the Xbox 360 world. I wish it had in built wifi and an in built blu ray player. But that notwithstanding, the platform provides the ultimate gaming experience, which i can tell you is second to none."
